The layout and it's homeliness 🙏 very well kitted out... Great location

Apart from it been a top floor apartment which would you fit! A positive in our case, but might not suit less mobile people... There's nothing to dislike 👍

Location is great, only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly on brief interaction.

Mattress and pillows were far from luxury, cleaning was abit lacklustre in some places and apartment seemed tired in others. £14 to park at property excessive

Location in Harrogate excellent for conference centre, restaurants and shopping. Bathroom in room 2 gorgeous, very nice bath, nice quality gels,shampoo and conditioner. Nice touch with snacks,proper coffee,fresh milk for arrival. Fridge, sink, crockery, kettle, etc all tucked away cleverly in a pull out cupboard. Comfy bed. Great communication beforehand and with parking requests,very speedy replies. Overall happy with price,stay and would use again.

If I had to pick something I would say a second comfy chair in the bay window would be great. Having only one comfy arm chair meant the second person had to sit on fold out chair or on the bed, but lucky for me I bagged the comfy chair each time:)

Great location, and really helpful to be able to access on site parking. We liked the big bathroom and the kitchen-in-a-cupboard! Comfy beds. Seabrooks crisps and fresh coffee / milk provided.

The room we stayed had a very small window and was stuffy. There was a fan which was helpful tho. The fridge in the room was a bit noisy.

Great location, well equipped kitchenette, easy to follow instructions, superb bathroom , welcoming atmosphere. Overall a great base from which to explore Harrogate.

Could do with more storage for clothes.

The location was fantastic. Loads of restaurants on the door step. Town center close by too. The train station 5 minutes to york, only cost £16.00 for 2 people return. The room was lovely and excellent use of storage for the cupboard with toaster, fridge,kettle. The bathroom was amazing. Super clean and would definitely stay here again. The instructions when I arrived were super clear and had no problems.

The effective and helpful communications from Nicole after my booking and during our stay (including positive responses to my late request for a late check out and longer stay in the car park) were greatly appreciated, The main room was a good size and the cupboard containing the kitchenette, fridge etc was well equipped for two of us. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and had a bath and a separate good size shower cubicle. The bath towels were a good size and soft. There are 5 studios so it is important to book in advance if you want one of the 3 parking spaces (£14 per day) behind the building on Back Cheltenham Mount (one way street). The location is perfect as it is a very short walk to the bars and restaurants on Cheltenham Parade and to the centre of Harrogate.

An extra chair (even a folding one) would have been helpful so that the 2 of us could sit at the (folding) table to eat together

Good sized room and wow, fabulous bathroom - over the top for me and my son but would really suit a couple Beds were comfy and so was the one chair at the window; my son opted to lie on his bed rather than use the chair at the 'desk' The cupboard that opens up to reveal a wee kitchen was really clever idea - great if you are staying for a few days maybe Nice touch of couple of packets of biscuits & crisps along with tea/coffee & fresh milk It was very warm and a fan had been left for us to use We didnt have breakfast (as my son was keen to go to Bettys) but it smelt good! We were able to leave our cases for a few hours after checking out (not in a secured area but we had nothing of any real value in them)

Blinds had not been pulled down so, as it was VERY sunny, the room was rather warm when we arrived. We did leave the windows open overnight but room overlooks road so not only did we have that noise but also from customers leaving pubs etc (this probably wouldnt bother couples so much) The blinds didnt do much to block light - would recommend eye mask I couldnt use the little 'desk' to work on laptop - it wasnt deep enough and I couldnt actually sit on the chair and get my legs under the table! There were no bedside tables - just little shelves above each bed, which we found awkward (and my son actually bumped his head and knocked the little vase off!) - so, phones and glasses were left on floor beside bed

Very convenient for city centre. Quite quiet at rear of property . Lovely large bathroom/showerroom, comfy bed. Al in all very comfortable.

Steep steps up to property front and rear . Smallish bedroom. Could do with a suitcase rack. A bigger fridge would be nice.

The property had everything you needed including a dishwasher. We required a travel cot which was provided. Owners could not do enough for you. Car parking outside near to city centre. Will definitely book again.

There is nothing to dislike and nothing negative to say.

Not enough teaspoons!

Its location very much in the heart of Harrogate.

I had to pay extra outside of the booking.com app for a parking space at the back of the property. After arriving we didn’t need it as we could use the disabled parking opposite the front entrance.

Good room right in the centre of town. Particularly like the bathroom with shower and bath option.

The room was comfortable and quiet - the bathroom is enormous! Very responsive and accommodating host.

It might be beneficial to replace the fridge in the room with a quieter model.

Bed comfy. Bathroom big and spacious. Room very clean. The fridge in the room was a nice touch. Netflix on the telly. Hairdryer was a bonus. Great location. Quiet place to stay. Rooms fully equipped.

Hallway/porch area could do with modernising/upgrading as it was a little dull and dark with lots of CCTV, no welcome info/tourism brochures/ restaurant recommendations ect. Hallway smelt a bit musty. The CCTV on every wall could be considered a good thing for security, but it felt a little intrusive when you first check-in. Stairs very steep and creaky but it’s understandable as it is an old building. We stayed for 1 night. There was a pile of used bed linen that was on the floor of the landing next door to our room which stayed there from check-in until check-out. Having a fridge in the room was a nice touch. However a couple of bottles of water in the fridge for when you arrive would have been great.

I thought the Marmot pretty much fitted expectations - the bedroom and bed were comfortable although I thought the pillows a little thin. The kitchen facilities were good and the bathroom was excellent. The area was quiet and felt safe.

My only real concern was using the shower - I did not feel it was a non-slip surface - a mat might help.

I was a little surprised that car parking was charged as an additional amount at £14. I am sure the booking details said parking was available but there was no mention of this being chargeable or indeed the amount. It should be shown in order to make a true cost comparison

Had a wonderful stay at the Marmot. Right in the middle of Harrogate. Amazing staff and information system giving all the information you could ever need. Beautiful large room with an incredible bathroom. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Too many steps at back for my elderly mum Apartment cold and had to ask twice for heating to go on Pay extra for parking at rear an additional £30!

Decor was nice, room was big enough and a huge bathroom. Really appreciated the double sinks as we were two friends sharing. It was very clean!!

Fabulous night over in room 4. Lovely, quirky room with a huge bathroom. Communication prior to visit was spot on and made accessing the property very straightforward. Great location as well. Definitely be back.

I twisted my ankle in the bedroom as there has been a fireplace or something took out. The floor in the bedroom is uneven with an edge. Causing me to twinge my ankle. Definitely needs looking into. As it could seriously hurt an elderly person. The beds are 2 singles together..Which the little gap causes issues.

Close to convention centre. Clean. Love the little kitchen with kettle, cups, etc The bathroom was probably the highlight!

Fantastic stay in the apartment. Well equipped, beautiful decor, nice big bath and shower and plenty of hot water, beautiful livingroom and fully equipped kitchen. Excellent location for town and attractions. Excellent value for money. I expected to hear some noise being so close to town and the main road. But it was very peaceful even in the livingroom at the front of the house. Nicole was an excellent host, very easy to get hold of and prompt to respond both prior to and after our stay and accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend The Marmot. Marmot was in a quiet street in Harrogate. Walking to center of town and beautiful parks

Great location. Massive bathroom. Nice little kitchen

Room dark. Heating controlled by owner. Boiling hot in room and had to leave window open. Property on main road and never had any sleep as people walking past noisy 12am /2am /4am / 5am then cars started. Also feel parking should be included as it's part of hotel. Would understand if parking was not part of hotel.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Marmot. The room was beautifully furnished, well equipped & spotlessly clean. The bathroom was huge & to a very high spec, with lovely toiletries. We appreciated the snacks & fresh milk provided. The location is perfect, so close to the centre of Harrogate. Communication from the host was excellent. The only downside was there were no parking spaces left & we were given the location of a car park nearby.

Room was lovely and large well appointed bathroom. With a nice kitchenette that had tea/real coffee & fresh milk provided.

We had an issue with the heating when we arrived and the room was cold. They owner came over to try and sort it out, apparently an issue with the WiFi. It was a bit warmer the next morning. We used the television but the same WiFi issue was causing the television stream to break up. I’m sure once the WiFi problem is sorted these minor issues will be resolved. We were also given a small refund of £12.00 for the problems.

The bathroom was very modern and clean. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bedroom reminded me of my student room. More Boho less chic. The main houses communal area was very shabby. The towel rail in the bathroom wasn't working.

The decor in the bedroom needs updated and the paintwork needs cleaned.

Nicely appointed room with a lovely bathroom. Location, perfect for wandering around center of town close to Betty’s and the Turkish Spa.

The beds were very comfortable, but I found the pillows way too hard for my head as my neck is not good. I did inquire about feather or softer pillows, but they did not have any.

Second time staying here, different room this time. Location is perfect, room is great with a very firm and comfy bed, bathroom gigantic, handy little kitchenette in bedroom, lovely and warm on a cold winter’s day, pristinely clean. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Room 1, very comfortable plenty of space. Had everything you could need.

Sofa bed was a bit tired structurally. We only used it as a sofa but the top part did tend to slide forwards when sitting.

Great location close to everything

Stayed before thought it was great so booked again but I was left disappointed this time room was cold and you can adjust the heating stayed in room 5 and the room door constantly rattling and strange humming noise overhaul very disappointed my wife and I have hardly slept due to the noise

The bathroom was huge and felt luxurious. Large free standing bath and nice new fittings. Nice bed and kitchenette, with some basics needed for snacks, but for hot meals better to go into Harrogate. Free milk and tea/coffee was a nice touch

Excellent location for the convention centre. The facilities in the studio were super and gave us the opportunity to cook our own meal. Beverages were provided in ample amounts, even biscuits and crisps and even a small bottle of proper milk in the fridge. On arrival the young gentleman was very polite and helpful and even offered to carry our bags to the room. The bathroom was amazing, wish I could have packed it up and taken it home. Nicole couldn't have been more helpful or quicker responding to my request to turn the heating up. We were very chilly when we arrived, (2degrees outside) my friend has Reynards syndrome so feels the cold alot more, but she was soon comfortable when Nicole adjusted the heating. Will definately come back.

Could have done with a plug for the kitchen sink, but everything else was superb.

A large comfortable room, huge bathroom with both walk in shower and free standing bath. Loved the 'kitchen' cupboard, microwave, toaster, sink and a supply of tea, coffee & biscuits. Milk in the fridge was very much appreciated. The decor is quirky and interesting ( as shown in Photos) a nice change from big chain hotels. The location is great with restaurants and bars virtually on the doorstep and centre of Harrogate only minutes walk away. A very nice hotel.

Convenient location for the Convention Centre. We'll laid out, comfortable and clean. Had all the amenities we needed for a self catered stay.

It wasn't a dislike,but a microwave in the kitchenette would gave been a good addition.
