Staying at Riad Senja was an awesome experience! The Riad is beautiful with very comfortable rooms and amenities! Super highlight for the staff and owner which are super helpful and friendly! Breakfast was amazing and recommend having dinner at the rooftop - it was the best meal we had while in Marrakech!

Além do Riad ser maravilhoso e confortável o grande ponto positivo é o atendimento. Fomos extremamente bem recebidos por toda a equipe, são muito atenciosos, gentis, nos ajudaram com a programação e com tudo que precisamos. O café da manhã é divino e vale a pena marcar um jantar também, comida espetacular - a melhor que comemos em Marrakech! O rooftop tem uma vista incrível da cidade. Voltaria várias vezes, maravilhoso!!!!

I had an amazing stay here. Location is very central, has a lot of good restaurants nearby. Riad is absolutely beautiful, and was really clean. Breakfast might be the best one that we’ve had in Morocco. Loved their hospitality. I highly recommend it.

Riad Senja was the highlight of our stay in Marrakech! The riad was absolutely beautiful and the staff incredibly attentive and accommodating. They helped us a lot for every query that we had. The breakfast was very tasty with a beautiful view from the roof. The location was great with many attractions and souks within walking distance.

I would not recommend staying at this riad. The location felt extremely unsafe, especially for a solo traveler. The route to reach the property is through narrow, isolated alleys where I did not feel secure at all. The photos on Booking.com do not accurately reflect the reality of the location or the overall experience. When I arrived, I was genuinely scared and uncomfortable. Instead of receiving support or understanding, the staff were not cooperative and showed very little concern for my safety or my situation. The property itself did not meet my expectations based on the listing, and the overall experience was very disappointing. I ended up leaving because I did not feel safe enough to stay there. If safety is important to you—especially if you are traveling alone—I strongly recommend choosing another place. This was one of the most stressful accommodation experiences I have had, and I would not stay here again.

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen. Soweit außerhalb, dass man Ruhe hat aber auch schnell in den Souks ist. Die Anlage lässt von außen nicht vermuten, wie es innen aussieht. So schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten an zwei Tagen Event geplant wofür wir einmal um 04:00 Uhr und einmal um 07:00 Uhr ein Lunchpaket bekommen haben, obwohl wir gesagt haben, dass sie es nicht machen müssen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wiederkommen 😍

Mooie riad op een centrale plek in de medina! We vinden de kamer prachtig en het bed sliep heerlijk.

We bleven maar een nachtje en konden door de terugvlucht het ontbijt niet meepakken. Een optie was bijvoorbeeld geweest dat ze iets van een ontbijtboxje zouden maken - dat er meegedacht wordt op die manier.

Vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel...top! Het personeel stond altijd klaar, altijd bereid om te helpen en heel netjes en vriendelijk in de communicatie.

Grootte van de kamer, al was het volgens verwachting. Heel positief is dat we na 3 dagen een (vrijgekomen) grotere kamer toegewezen kregen, zonder meerkosten!

The location was epic and it hotel was magical and the staff is awesome. We enjoyed the stay so much. Room breakfast service nothing to add it is great option with the right location.

Das Riad war eine kleine Oase im Gewimmel der Stadt. Versteckt in einer Gasse gelegen, hätten wir es alleine bestimmt nicht gefunden. Die Terrasse war ein Traum der kleine Pool noch zu kalt. Das Frühstück wurde frisch auf der Dachterrasse serviert. Die Mitarbeitenden waren ausnahmslos nett und zuvorkommend!

Allenfalls kann man bemängeln, dass die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zimmer recht hoch war. Dadurch trockneten die Handtücher nicht so gut und der Abfluss der Dusche war langsam. Alles nicht schlimm.

A true hidden gem in the heart of the Medina! We were absolutely delighted with this riad and with the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Lahcen made sure we had everything we needed, welcomed us warmly, and answered all of our questions and requests. We had arranged an airport transfer, but our flight was heavily delayed and we arrived in Marrakech around 1 AM - despite that, the driver was waiting for us, took us to the hotel, and Lahcen personally welcomed us upon arrival. They gave us the best room in the riad - it was spotless, beautiful, and felt like something out of a fairytale. The breakfast was wonderful and was served on the rooftop terrace each morning. The road leading to the riad was well lit, we followed Google Maps without any issues, and we had absolutely no problems with people approaching or bothering us in the alleyways. We truly have no complaints at all. Highly recommended!

Loved everything

We were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and were able to check into our room almost immediately. The next morning we had to leave early to catch our flight. They arranged a taxi for us and even prepared a breakfast package to take with us, which was very thoughtful and appreciated!

Unfortunately, we were given the room downstairs directly next to the inner courtyard, which meant there was very little privacy. It was manageable for one night, but I would not recommend this room for a longer stay. Additionally, the room smelled strongly like a horse stable, which was quite unpleasant.

O staff é extremamente simpático e prestável, sempre disposto a ajudar em qualquer situação e em tudo o que é necessário, sem nunca parecer cansado. O hotel é limpo. A localização é perfeita, permitindo alcançar a pé todos os principais pontos de interesse turístico. O pequeno-almoço era muito delicioso e variado.

Everything was perfect, the staff, the breakfast, the design of the room an the riad, the central location in the medina. You are at walking distance to all major attractions in and around the medina.

We adored our time at Riad Senja! We stayed for 6 nights and it served the perfect base to explore Marrakesh (under 5 mins walk to the Souks) but also a tranquil and cool oasis with a calm and relaxing environment. I felt very safe here and it was key for us to have somewhere quiet (I am 5 months pregnant) whilst being local to all amenities/attractions and this provided this perfectly. I am gluten free and they made a wonderful gf breakfast fresh each morning, as well as normal for my partner. We liked it so much that we had breakfast at the Four Seasons one morning and were relieved to return for our authentic and delicious breakfast at the Riad the following day. We celebrated a birthday out here and they made it really special to start the day with cake and petals on the rooftop - which also perfectly frames the Koutoubia! The staff were so kind and present for us. Cleaning the room each morning and always at hand for any queries/ late night mint tea on the rooftop. Thank you very much Riad Senja - we will not forget your special hospitality!

The interior of the riad is absolutely stunning. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, and the amenities rival those of a five-star hotel. That said, the true highlight of our stay was the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, accommodating even our rather unusual requests with genuine care. Their warmth and hospitality are truly unmatched. We will definitely be back!

Wij hebben drie nachten in deze riad verbleven en zijn enorm positief over ons verblijf. De gastvrijheid was geweldig: het personeel vooral Lahcen was ontzettend lief, vriendelijk en altijd behulpzaam. Elke ochtend genoten we van een heerlijk ontbijt en ook het diner was echt voortreffelijk. Daarnaast hebben ze voor ons een taxi naar het vliegveld geregeld, wat erg prettig was. De locatie is top en ideaal om de omgeving te verkennen. Kortom: een fantastische ervaring en absoluut een aanrader!

A tipologia que reservamos tinha o tamanho ideal, muito confortável. Pequeno almoço servido no rooftop, com produtos frescos, simples mas muito agradável. Acordar com o som dos pássaros! Restabelecem água engarrafada diariamente.

Não tenho nada negativo a apontar, mas a melhorar: O Wi-Fi e a necessidade de toalheiros na casa de banho.

There was a really lovely breakfast on the rooftop - the staff were exceptionally lovely. It was a very sweet, cosy atmosphere. Location was excellent - very close to the main tourist sites and in a very quiet street.

Fabulous location. Breakfast was great. The staff were exceptional! Salma helped us with transfers and anything we needed and Lahcen was so gracious serving breakfast and helping us with bags. It was the perfect place to stay!

L’endroit est un coup de coeur! Le riad est magnifique et bien entretenu. Le personnel est charmant et les propriétaires très aimables, prompts à engager une conversation. La Suite Senja, où nous étions, était grande et décorée avec goût. Et que dire du petit-déjeuner! Sublime, avec des fruits frais, du café, du thé, des oeufs, du miel, de l'amlou, du pain... C'est un endroit où on se sent accueilli, chez soi, en sécurité après la frénésie de la médina.

Notre unique point négatif: le ménage un peu négligé dans la chambre à notre arrivée. Il y avait de la poussière sur certains objets, des surfaces n'avaient pas été bien nettoyées (pâte à dents sur une étagère, traces sur le siège toilette), une dosette de café était déjà percée et le dessin sculpté de la table de chevet contenait de petits détritus.

Location was perfect. Short walk into the centre of the souks. Less than 20 mins from the airport. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were so nice and attentive. They even upgraded our room to the suite free of charge and it was such a lovely surprise. The rooftop was very relaxing, like an oasis from the chaos of the medina. Amazing value for money. Couldnt recommend more to book !

Heerlijk verblijf! Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is super, ik was als vrouw alleen op reis en vond deze locatie prettig omdat het dicht bij alles in de buurt zat. Ook herkenbaar te vinden door de poort aan het begin van de straat en niet heel veel ‘gangetjes’ door.

Het enige min punt is dat het best wel wat gehorig was af en toe.

Goede centrale ligging. Erg mooi en schoon hotel, ‘s nachts heel stil. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was lekker en vers. Elke dag een nieuwe fles water op de hotelkamer, erg handig om niet steeds zelf water te hoeven kopen.

Super nettes und aufmerksames Personal, das immer für uns da war und uns jeden Wunsch erfüllte. Wir wurden sogar an die Strasse begleitet, um uns ein Taxi zu holen. Der Check-in war ebenfalls sehr gemütlich und schön. Wir wurden mit Tee begrüsst und durften erst einmal in Ruhe ankommen, währendem unser Gepäck ins Zimmer gebracht wurde und alles erledigt wurde. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker und wurde herzlich auf der Dachterrasse zubereitet.

Wir waren anfangs Februar hier und im Zimmer war es sehr kalt und man konnte auch nicht heizen. Also am besten ein dickes Pyjama mitnehmen. etwas ringhörig, aber das ist normal in der Medina

La atención del personal es inigualable y fue de mis cosas favoritas. Luego, es todo tan bonito dentro del Riad y los detalles están tan bien cuidados, que te hacen sentir en un palacete.

La entrada es muy complicada porque las aplicaciones de GPS no saben llevarte correctamente y las callejuelas están muy mal señalizadas. Sin embargo, es cierto que está cerca de todo (incluyendo vía pública).

Tout était exceptionnel, le personnel, l'hygiène, la sécurité, le petit déjeuner, le Riad en lui-même est super beau et traditionnel. Je ne peux que recommander. Everything was exceptional: the staff, the hygiene, the security, the breakfast, and the riad itself is beautiful and traditional. I highly recommend it.

The best decision to pick this Riad :) We chose based on the wonderful reviews and it exceeded our expectations. The location (you can easily access both Medina and modern part of the city by foot), interior, amenities and food were all top-notch. I sign under every good review from all the other guests. You’ll love your stay in this Riad!

You can indeed hear some external noise in the evening (not night), but it’s the Riad thing, because of the open rooftop and i can’t say it bothered us even a bit.

Il est situé dans un endroit stratégique à l’entrée de la Médina où on peut arriver facilement en voiture/uber mais aussi marcher pour découvrir! L’hôtel est sublime, le design et service au top!!

Siamo rimasti affascinati dalla gentilezza e dall’ospitalità del personale, che ci ha accolto con grande disponibilità e attenzione, senza farci mancare nulla. La struttura è pulita e accogliente, con un arredamento curato e di ottimo gusto. Merita la vista dalla loro terrazza. Senz’altro torneremo!

Ambiente un po’ rumoroso al mattino, ma senz’altro ampiamente compensato da tutti gli altri aspetti estremamente positivi dell’esperienza.

The breakfasts were delicious, the interior was stunning and we were able to easily walk to many of the landmarks. We would highly recommend Riad Senja.

La disponibilité, les échanges et la gentillesse de Salma. L'arrivée en fin de matinée avec un thé afin de faire un pré check-in et garder nos bagages pour que l'on aille se balader et revenir à la vraie heure du check-in pour prendre la chambre. Nous avons pu même nous changer pour aller profiter de la ville. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Pour le diner, je vous conseille d'aller manger au Riad le palais sebban juste à coté. Nous y sommes allé sur conseil de Salma, c'était très bon et le décor est superbe. Le Riad est bien situé avec une très belle terrasse avec vue. Le bruit des oiseaux.

La chambre Tataouia situé sous la terrasse du petit-déjeuner ce qui implique malheureusement d'être réveillé lorsque les tables et chaises assez lourdes sont bougés sur la terrasse par les employés et/ou les clients. Le point a été signalé pour les futurs clients, la solution étant je pense de mettre des patins sous les chaises. Des travaux de rénovation vont être effectués dans le Riad avec de beaux projets selon Salma.

We loved our time at Riad Senja and wished we could have stayed there longer. The staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed here for 3 nights but were in Marrakesh for a week and the breakfast was the best we had during our trip. The property was a bit hard to find at first, but it was tucked away in hidden from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

Er zaten geen ramen bij de kamer alleen luikjes dus je kon alles horen en moest zelf daardoor ook erg zacht doen.

I stayed as a solo female traveller for 3 nights and had a great stay. I felt really safe, plus the staff were exceptional - even getting me a sim card, and walking me to the bus stop early morning. I would choose here if I would return to Marrakesh
