No hot water in the main on suite bathroom, and extremely slow water drainage in other bathroom shower. Water was nearly overflowing.

Exceptional peaceful setting to relax and unwind! Beautiful farm with stunning views of the Sani Pass Mountains! Cottage was well equipped with everything you need. Bonus was the TV to watch the rugby! Off the grid, so no hassles with load shedding! Spacious Veranda to sit and soak up the stunning pictures landscape while the braai is going with a drink in hand. Enjoyed the 5 star view from the main bedroom with a cup of coffee in bed in the morning. Erika was also such an awesome and accommodating hosts. It was Magical and we will be back very soon!

A beautiful cottage set in a stunning and peaceful location—ideal for unwinding and immersing yourself in nature’s beauty. Erika was an excellent host, and the delightful farm dogs, Benji and Charlie, added much joy to our stay. Every recommendation Erika shared was spot on. A wonderful stay.

Granny Smith Cottage is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The host, Erika, was amazingly attentive and even let us come along to help with the cows! The property is very rural, so do expect an interesting drive along the unmade road. Himeville and Underberg (for shopping) are both conveniently nearby.

The homley feel of the cottage and the scenery from the patio was amazing. Had all the amenities we needed. The hosts were very helpful.

We have no word to describe how truly beautiful the cottage offers spectacular views of the mountains. From the sunrise to the sunset, your soul is just blown. The place is so quiet & peaceful, surrounded by a beautiful preserved nature and animals. The cottage was sparkling clean, and we loved the personal furniture and decorations that the place brings (paintings, plants, vintage furniture, fireplace). It gives an incredible 'gezelligheid' touch and home feeling. Although we stayed during winter, it was warm and had no humidity. Last but not least, Erika and her husband are wonderful hosts. Erika showed us around and took good care of us by providing everything we needed. The communication was very easy and much appreciated. THANK YOU. Our biggest hope is to come back for a longer time.

We loved everything. Tranquil, quiet, peacefull surroundings. Fantastic views of the mountains. Kids loved the farm and outdoors. Loved to play with Benji the dog and met the cows. Cottage had everything one would need. Just loved the bed. Excellent location. Vallue for money. Friendly hosts.

The View = Wow!! Also loved the privacy!Our short two night stay to the Berg was made perfect by this wonderful cottage. Also big thanks to Erika for hosting us! We will be back that’s for sure!

Very quaint, fairly spacious, and lovely views. Decor is lovely and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfy it was. One bathroom is modern and the other old, but comfortable nonetheless. Comfy mattresses and pillows.

The second bathroom is not nearly as nice as the first, no cupboard space in the second room. Though that in the main bedroom is very spacious

A gorgeous cottage that is set in on a peaceful and picturesque farm. My family and I had the most wonderful couple days on the farm. We were well looked after by Erika, Ed, and Benji! We are, without doubt, going back for another visit.

The views were stunning overlooking the mountains.

Unfortunately the gas bottles were empty and we could not shower in hot water.

It’s a couple of miles outside town, off the grid, so you’re truly removed and peaceful on the farm - but close enough to pop in for food etc if needed. It really felt like home.

The cottage is spacious and well-equipped and was super clean. Loved the deck and the view and the sun in the bathroom in the morning. The fresh milk in the fridge and the vase of flowers!

The mattress on the bed at the window in the second bedroom is a bit tired.

The host, the place and everything was just on point. A really lovely place that is well looked after , clean and homely. Thank you for hosting us and being great to us. My self, my wife & the kids really enjoyed it.
