The view from the bath (lake side cottage) was incredible! The people were also really friendly and eager to help.

We had some issues with the water being very dirty (some baboons trashed the pipes) and our jacuzzi wouldn't heat up, but they quickly came and fixed it.

Tout était parfait… Entre le canoë, les balades en bateau à moteur sur le lac, les promenades dans le vaste domaine, les animaux présents sur place, les massages… et bien d’autres activités encore, tout était réuni pour passer un séjour exceptionnel. La maîtresse des lieux est d’un accueil inégalable, avec une gentillesse et une bienveillance qui dépassent toutes les attentes. Une expérience magnifique, dans un cadre exceptionnel, que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Amazing location! The perfect break away from the city. Marge and her husband were extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We loved everything, and will definitely be coming back!

A few minor adjustments need to be made, such as an upgrade to the kitchen. Other than that, it’s very hard to fault this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bit outdated but most of all very cold! Electric blankets as there is no heater. So cold in morning and evening. A fireplace but thats it. Breakfast room as well outdated and breakfast could be better.

Absolutely stunning!!! The view and calming feeling. The fact that you do not get bored by doing nothing. Resting, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Waking up with the most amazing view and sounds of animal sounds were just incredible. The food was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The kindness we received will never be forgotten. Definitely worth it and will definitely recommend for anyone. It was really an absolute favorite!! Thank you for such a memorable break to reset. Can't wait to return!!!

There was absolutely nothing that we did not enjoy.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm. I truly enjoyed my stay there. The lodge was also very convenient, with a small kitchen and everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast was good, although the choice was quite limited. On the Sunday, porridge was unfortunately not available due to a shortage of staff. The lodge was also very cold at the end of April. There was a fireplace, but it did not warm the space sufficiently, and although the electric blankets were helpful, a heater would have been very welcome. We were not even staying in the middle of winter, so I imagine it can become particularly cold during the colder months.

Views were spectacular. Lake and mountains are lovely. Zebra and blesbok abound.

Kitchen didn’t have quality cookware, fortunately we carried our own. Stove didn’t really work, either maximum or none at all. The wood provided was wet, braaistand was practically impossible to use, very poor quality. The cleaning lady was rude and didn’t clean thoroughly at all. No heater provided in the bedroom.

Loved that each family had their own space. Views beautiful. Baths and jacuzzi amazing. Electric blanket a win, Food delicious and lovely area for friends to gather in the evening.

The staff were so friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable and give that extra attention to detail. The dinner options really help take the pressure off. The food was tasty and delivered to our chalet. Will definitely come back again.

The main bed was a bit boughed on one area which meant you roll into the Centre of the bed. A new mattress in that chalet will sort it out easily.

We didn't want to leave. Just so beautiful and relaxing to sit and look over the dam at the mountains. From check in to check out, it was the best. We were shown to our cottage and taken through all the ins & outs. Our cottage was spacious, well laid out with all the amenities you need. Large bathroom and a good sized shower. We didn't use the jacuzzi, but was there already warm when we arrived. We ordered dinner, which as excellent. We didn't do it justice as it was plentiful. Breakfast was also flavoursome with a view. The location is very good for outings / trips up Sani pass.

Only downside is WiFi signal is super shaky. But who needs internet when you have breathtaking scenery.

The view from the Lodge was amazing and the staff were helpful. It was great seeing the zebras wandering around. Also the bed was very comfy.

The only real downside is that the access road is in very bad condition - even with an SUV it was bumpy, so it's probably not a good idea without an SUV/4X4.

The flies

A beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. The peace and quiet were wonderful. Zebras were sometimes right in front of our house. Breakfast was good, and the hot dishes were freshly prepared. Dinner was delivered directly to our cottage, where we could eat in a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the lake. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Stunning location. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with its own supply of wood for the fire. We self-catered for dinner and enjoyed a very cosy evening in a beautiful setting. The welcome tipple was a nice touch. The breakfast was just what we needed before we headed up Sani Pass and across Lesotho. Was an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet. The view from the room was absolutely amazing, with the lake right next to us and beautiful mountains all around. Waking up to such peaceful scenery was unforgettable. The chalet was cozy, clean, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with stunning views.

The road leading to the property is quite narrow and bumpy, which can make the drive a bit challenging, especially for first-time visitors or in bad weather. It’s manageable, but something to be aware of before arriving.

Absolute Ruhe und Einsamkeit!Grandioser Blick! Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet.

Das sehr einfache Abendessen wurde auf Bestellung ins Zimmer geliefert.Das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Eine andere Möglichkeit zum Essen gab in der Nähe nicht. Es ist anzuraten selber in der Küche fürs Abendessen zu sorgen.

Amazing location - chalets overlooking the lake and the mountains, surrounded by wildlife. Comfy beds, fireplace, deck, ... Only booked 1 night and we all wanted to stay longer. Special place, we will be back!

It’s just breathtaking. We were completely positive surprised! By the time you step a foot on the lodge you will never want to leave this place again 😍 wild animals, beautiful lakes and stunning accommodations. And the breakfast & coffee in the sun right at the lake will let you forget about anything else! Highly recommended :)

Die Lage war traumhaft und ruhig, wirklich sehr sehr schön. Direkt an der Sani Pass Straße - perfekte Ausgangslage für einen Trip über den Pass. Super nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück im Bootshaus am Wasser.

Leider schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und leider nicht so sauber wie wir uns es gewünscht hätten. Wir hatten sehr viele kleine Fliegen im Zimmer.

ארוחת הערב הייתה יקרה ויחסית קטנה למחיר והביאו לנו אותה לחדר בשעה נורא מוקדמת כך שהיא נראתה כבר פחות טוב הקינוח היה יבש והמרק הצטמצם בגלל שנשאר בחימום . הדרך לשם כמו שכתוב באמת קצת קשה וגם עבור הפרייבט שלנו שהיה יחסית גבוה היינו צריכים להיזהר ולסוע לאט

Staff are very hospitable, especially Silindile, Nonto, and Sabelo. Lakeside view is exceptional. The warm jacuzzi after my first mountain hike was a treat!

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything. The only thing that scared us was the tiny road to the lodge. However we managed.

The breakfast was not that top tier. It is edible but there was too much oil on everything. We only had breakfast once. We did not mind because we had a great time.

Un merveilleux séjour de 2 nuits dans le lodge Bushman. La vue est splendide et le lieu d'une grande quiétude. Jaccuzi préparé pour notre arrivée (très appréciable bien qu'un peu froid ☺️) Nous avions réservé les repas sur place, qui sont délicieux. Le Lodge est vraiment très beau. Les températures sont fraîches en fin de journée à cette époque, mais avec le poêle à bois, les couvertures chauffantes et l'ampoule chauffante dans la salle de bain c'était parfait. Nous avions réservé une excursion au Lesotho au départ du Lodge, souvenirs incroyables. Bref si nous avions eu le temps nous serions volontiers restés plus longtemps !
