La ubicación estuvo bien, lo único bueno.

Suciedad, escaleras incómodas y estrechas. No hay ascensor, no recomendado para personas de edad ni gente con bebés. Ningún día hubo limpieza ni atención de personal. La ducha tapada, si no se intervenía con suerte salía agua. Que bueno terminó mi estadía para no volver más. Dijeron wifi? Compren esim... La tele estaba ubicada para que la gente de la calle la mirara. No hay aire acondicionado.

Location was great, very close to Kensingting station and bus stops

We were on the 3rd floor, which was really a struggle to get our luggage to and from the room. I would suggest staying on the ground floor.

I booked on the day - The property lists a 24hr reception but when I got there there was no reception, the phone number on the sign outside to call for check-in was turned off and the email address bounced back. I had no way of communicating with the property and was unable to get access to the room I booked. Several hours later (around 10pm at night) I received a message from the property saying they were cancelling my booking, with no apology or explanation. I do not recommend booking the Avonmore Olympia - their advert is misleading and their communication is terrible.

The entry security was good with email and text security numbers for the access system. I met some of the staff who were nice and friendly. The best bit was the proximity to Olympia where I was working for three days. Bed was comfy. Decent fibre broadband nice tv. Tea and coffee. Well looked after bathroom and wardrobe space. Blinds on the window that really allowed darkness at night. Busy area but very quiet and no noise from other rooms.

I have struggled to find anything negative to report. No niggles at all.

“Avoid like the plague!” Nothing was done about rodents in the flat… nothing! Room ventilation blocked, no fan as advertised either; flat entered without permission though nothing fixed; repeated failure to respond to communication by both property and sadly by booking.com too! Falsely advertised atrocious experience, booked through booking.com in the belief that accomodation would be as described on their site and that if not booking.com would take responsibility to adequately resolve the matter. Hugely disappointed.

There is/are no lifts and it was a nightmare to access the upper floors with luggage using the narrow stairway. The allocation of the rooms separated my family between the twin terraces.

Booked for 2 adults and 4 children between 13 and 6. Sofabed we had to set up ourselves and find bedding. The matress was not functional the whole sofabed should have been binned as not fit for use. It was full of stains and disgusting. The bedding out of cupboard was dirty and the linen had stains. The floor was dirty. The glasses provided were unwashed and sticky. Loud bangs at night, daughter thought somebody tried to come into our room. Obviously didn’t sleep well.

Posizione molto comoda, non in centro ma ben collegata tramite bus o metro (a 10minuti di distanza a piedi) a tutto. Standard di pulizia buoni per alloggi in inghilterra.

Camera INVIVIBILE dal caldo, non era presente l'aria condizionata e in camera abbiamo raggiunto i 33 gradi. Non dovrebbe essere possibile mettere in affitto una struttura del genere in queste condizioni, vi assicuro che abbiamo rimpianto di aver prenotato in questo posto per il caldo che abbiamo sofferto, non ci tornerei mai più. Abbiamo soggiornato qui il weekend di ferragosto.

Hot at night, but can't he helped. My only advice would be to invest into a new sofa bed. Apart from that, 10 out of 10. I will be back again.

Everything was just excellent. The place is great value for the price paid. I was aware of previous very negative comments, but didn’t notice anything like that. All bed linen was very fresh and clean (even for the additional bed). The location is just excellent and beautiful. City center is easily reachable by public transport. The apartment was spacious enough for 4 people, the balcony was a great additional feature.

There were some minor items missing for a longer stay and using the kitchen, but this was solvable.

Komkort einer mittelschlechten, drittklassigen Jugendherberge. 1. Zimmer überhitzt mit ca 45 Grad im Obergeschoss. Frage nach Alternativzimmer zunächst abgelehnt, auf erneute Nachfrage bekamen wir ein Zimmer im Keller (Souterrain), wo man tagsüber nur mit heruntergelassenen Rolläden sein kann, da komplletter Einblick vom benachbarten Gehweg. Treppe ins Souterrain abens nur mit Handytaschenlampe begehbar da nicht beleuchtet. Für den Preis absolut inakzeptabel.

Very nice accommodation, staff let us check in early and also store luggage after check out. Ample space for a big group of people. Bathrooms are excellwnt also the kitchen facilities. Location is also very good. In terms of price it is value for money.

Some rooms had a fan some didn't. We asked for fans in every room but didnt get in each room.

Everything is a little tired - the bathroom was surface level clean but could use an actual deep clean. The shower could probably do with some TLC / upgrading - ending up using the hose shower head rather than the waterfall one. The corners in the bedroom hadn’t been hoovered

Cleaners did not clean the fridge so someone's leaking juice and trash was there when I arrived! It was leaking all over the floor beside the fridge too! Very very bad first impression. Shower is awful. It's one of those rainfall once which I hate but the worst thing was it sprayed in odd directions so it absolutely drenched the floor! There was another shower hose that I prefer to use but annoyingly it didn't have a hanger to mount it so I had to hold it as I washed myself. Lastly. It is so stuffy! I would not suggest staying here during the hot weather. Even with the fan on and the windows open The attic room was absolutely boiling and so hard to even breathe or get comfortable. Ive stayed in shacks where I was more comfortable I expected better from this place. But nope. Have to say I never complain about hotels and I'm generally not fussy but this place was awful. Avoid!

Actual apartment was lovely, very clean and good location for us.

Confusing checkin process. When we arrived it was all key codes to enter the property but when we arrived (albeit slightly early (2pm), but this had been arranged) we hadn’t revived any info regarding what the codes were. There were several phone numbers to call - all went immediately to voice mail (left one and never got a call back). Only managed to get in because two other guests who had booked via Airbnb had check in info (a code to enter the main building) at which point a lady came out to help. She was able to assist but with difficulty as no common language (English) for us to communicate in. We did then receive checkin information after, around 3pm so will have eventually been ok to enter however we were explicitly told and arranged that we could drop bags off early which clearly was not the case upon arrival.

Lisa, the host was really welcoming and friendly. The room is everything i hoped for...would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.I have stayed in a few hotels in london and this one is 10/10 for me.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. My father had health issue during the stay. The host offered a ride to see a doctor. On the ground floor, we have access to the backyard.

The property cancelled my booking on the day at 5:30pm due to my room being ‘overbooked’, there were multiple events on this day which left me with nowhere to stay

Great apartment, 5min walk from the tube, 20min drive to the city center. Very peaceful area, perfect stay in London! Very clean and had everything we needed (even a hairdryer). There is a shared kitchen for the whole building with washing machine and an iron. Check-in is fairly easy, owner will share a code to the building with you.

Smutsigt, nagelbitar i fåtölj och på golvet. När vi påpekade detta för värden borstade hon bara ned naglarna på golvet. Vi bad om städning, men ingen städning utfördes. Kylskåpet var skitigt, gamla räkor och ägg fanns kvar i kylen. Även detta bad vi om att få städat, men ingen städning utfördes. Låset på balkongdörren var bortskruvat, så det gick inte att låsa dörren. Fanns heller inget säkerhetsskåp så vi vågade inte lämna några värdesaker på rummet. En hel askkopp var tömd på balkonggolvet.

The location was perfect for us all. Near to everywhere we were visiting.

There were a couple of issues. My daughter burnt her foot when using the larger shower in the apartment. My husband is a plumber and could not get the temperature down on the shower. We had to all use the smaller one. Also the blinds were not good in our bedroom. There were gaps in them so privacy was an issue.

There were lots of bad reviews of this property to look through, but some good. It is clear that lots of positive work is being done to improve the place and I did not experience anything bad during the stay. Only thing I spotted that had been mentioned previously is the wear and tear on the sofa, but this is no worse than what you would get if you stayed over with a friend. A good high quality fan was provided which was a great help during the heatwave.

Older style shutter/sliding windows that I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving open at night even in this nice part of London, so it made cooling the place down quite tricky.

Close to local transport links. Nice quiet street. The room was clean. Clear entry instructions for the property. Our apartment had a balcony which was nice in a morning. Overall would use again 👍🏻

Shower leaks and needs replacing. The boiler has a "do not use" sticker on it. Might be an old sticker but bit worrying. Balcony door broken and blind broken. Nothing major just little annoyances

Exceptionally clean room. Great location . Great concept. With keypad entry. Was pleasantly surprised at the provision and shower gel and hand wash for the price. The room had a great feel and the bed was very comfortable

In spite of signs about no smoking . There was an empty can of cider on the balcony and a pile of cigarette ends. The shower mechanism was a safety risk. It didn’t work effectively and I scalded myself . Luckily. No damage caused but a very unpleasant experience

No aircom ,fan in bathroon was broken ,garden was a mess , we couls smell weed being smoked day and night , mouldy plates in dishwasher , only 1 channel on tv , quite disapointing to be honest. Nasty / therating mesages from the agent from start to fininsh Not up to standard for booking .com

The one genuinely positive thing I can say is that the apartment is in a great location and has huge potential because of where it is situated. I genuinely hope this review encourages the owners to take more care of both the apartment and their guests, because with more attention, maintenance and a stronger focus on guest experience, it could be a much better place to stay.

I've integrated those points while keeping the tone firm and credible rather than sounding overly emotional: We were very disappointed with our stay and would not return. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the apartment lacked care and attention. The apartment was not clean on arrival. The living room sofa had noticeable white stains to the point where we had to place a blanket over it just to sit down comfortably. On top of that, one of the sofa arms was damaged and coming apart, making it feel even more worn and neglected. The dining table had crumbs on it, the kitchen sink and worktops also had crumbs, and the floors throughout the apartment were dusty. Once we looked around more carefully, we found even more issues: the toilet roll holder was broken, underneath the bed was full of dust, the dining chairs had stains on them, some blinds were missing the strings needed to pull them up and down, and even the oven, microwave and cutlery were not properly clean. We also could not use the balcony because the handle/door knob felt as though it was coming off. We did not want to force it or risk breaking it ourselves, so we avoided using it altogether. I initially contacted the owner through Booking regarding the cleanliness issues and was asked to continue communication through her personal number instead. After sending a message outlining all of the problems, I received no reply. The following morning, I went out for breakfast and around midday received a message saying that a cleaner would be entering the apartment to address the issues. While I appreciated that an attempt was made to resolve some of the problems, I wish I had been informed beforehand and a suitable time agreed. We had personal belongings inside the apartment and guests should always be informed before someone enters the property. Had I happened to still be in the apartment at that time, it could have created an uncomfortable situation.

Locations! It’s easy to get anywhere in London

My room was a total disaster, probably never cleaned before, I tried to contacted someone on site but was impossible to sort the room out cause there’s no staff in the building. My room was a smoking room despite the sign no smoking. Apparently this is a room of £270 and I got it for £126 that’s how the property justifies the problems in the room during my stay.

The basement apartment was too hot, dirty cups and tables and bathroom. Shower was broken, random people coming to my window at night. TV didn’t work.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. DO NOT STAY HERE. NOT VENTILATION AND YOU CANT OPEN WINDOWS BECAUSE ITS NEXT TO A BUSY TRAIN LINE. AWFUL

The hot water in the shower seemed to have not been checked in a bit. The shower head tap was stuck and staff had to spray some chemicals on it to loosen it. The time it took to get this sorted in the morning made me late to my meeting. What was disheartening about it was that the host neither acknowledged the situation nor apologised.

It is a charmy little hotel in a nice, cozy and quiet neighbourhood. Perfect to stay for a few days visit in London. You can relax in a comfortable nice bed after a busy day in London. Tea and coffee available in the room for more convenience. Perfect cleanliness, friendly stuff. Definitely recommend.

Honestly have some lovely rooms and they have just come under new management who were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. The new management are clearly eager to transform it and make improvements so wish them all the best with the new endeavour.
