AC wasn’t working during peak summer. Very bad smell coming out of AC. Couldn’t open windows at all. TV Was very faulty
We stayed here only because it was close to U.S embassy where we needed to go
The room wasn't cleaned properly, it looks really worn down with holes in the walls as well as dirt, couldn't use the TV as the remote control was missing batteries, stayed in a room with kitchenette that was supposed to be equipped but it only had spoons and few dishes, AC wasn't working so the room was really hot during the night, when checking out nobody was on the reception, no signs left either
A shithole! We had to changed the room because the toilet was broken and there was a hole in the mattress and no one noticed that(?!?!). There is no AC at all in the whole building. Tiny and uncomfortable room.
Spacious room, good natural lighting. Amenities like a fridge sink microwave kettle accessible to us.
No AC, the room got extremely hot and keeping the loud fan on all night wasn’t possible. No sound proofing windows, could hear everything. Very very creaky wobbly bed and shower door was fiddly.
Checked in earlier no problem. Bed, floor, toilet were clean.
The AC was not working, despite booking stating that it it has AC. I guess booking.com should add category "Working AC". There was a fan for replacement that had brow gunk on it and dusty blades. The rest of the room, apart form things listed above was nasty. Dirty walls, beat up kitchen, scratched wardrobe, ruined table area, bed that is "sinking" in the middle, hallways with dirty carpet, faucet thats leaking, shower head that is broken, shower curtain thats dirty, dusty and dirty window, etc
Friendly staff quick check in process
The price for the overall standard is to much it should have been no more than 100 tops
Great location for what we were there for.
Room 404 ridiculously hot, windows were crewed shut. No shower pane in the bathroom. There was a hob but no pots or pans. Went to speak with reception who said there was a problem with the air con and said but you have a bigger room. Got moved to a smaller room (312) which was a lot cooler. Drinking glasses and kettle base were dirty. Shower held together with masking tape and toilet base looked like it was coming away from the wall. Disappointed for the price we paid.

Quickness of the lift
Perfect location! Secure parking was a huge plus point and the reception team were brilliant, welcoming and helpful. Room felt really spacious and huge bathroom.
Nothing really. Was only for 1 night but would happily return again. Did have the noise from the planes above which took a little while to get used to but then it became background noise and you kinda stop hearing it and to be fair we did sleep with the windows open all night.
Loved the art work left by previous guests and how the shower turned into a bath in under 3 minutes.
There was no window in the room and no working air con just a standing fan that sounded like a jet. It might kind of cool the room down temporarily but it still smells stale.
Nothing
Extremely disappointing and stressful experience — poor service, cleanliness, and maintenance My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and, frankly, much more stressful than it ever should have been. When I arrived, the air conditioning in my room was not working properly. I reported the issue, but instead of simply offering me another room, I had to argue with the hotel and insist on being moved. It became a very stressful and unpleasant situation, when all I was asking for was a room with functioning air conditioning. I genuinely do not understand why a guest should have to fight with hotel staff over something as basic as being able to stay comfortably in their room. Eventually, after the argument, they agreed to move me. While I was relieved to finally have a room where the AC worked, the entire experience left me extremely frustrated and upset. Unfortunately, the problems with the room did not end there. The room was not properly cleaned, with noticeable dust and a general lack of attention to cleanliness. The kitchen cabinet handles were dirty and sticky, which was particularly unpleasant. The lighting was also completely inadequate. There simply was not enough light in the room, making it feel dark and uncomfortable, especially at night. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained and as though basic housekeeping and maintenance checks had been neglected. What disappointed me most was not just the problems themselves, but the lack of professionalism and the amount of unnecessary stress I experienced trying to get them addressed. A hotel stay should be comfortable and relaxing. Instead, I had to argue simply to get a room with functioning AC. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is not a hotel I would ever consider staying at again after having this traumatizing experience. Do yourself a favour and choose somewhere that actually values its guests.
Nothing.
I genuinely cannot believe how unprofessional and dismissive the service at this hotel has been. I have stayed in hotels before and completely understand that problems can happen, but what matters is how the hotel responds to those problems. Unfortunately, in this case, my concerns were severely neglected from start to finish. The air conditioning in my room did not work for my entire 10-day stay. I reported the issue to the hotel, and I was initially told that the AC might be fixed and that they would see what could be done. I was given the impression that the issue would be addressed. It never was. Ten entire days. No AC. No solution. No meaningful follow-up. Nothing. Not once did anyone come back to me to update me on the situation or check whether the problem had been resolved. I was simply left in a room with a non-functioning AC as though my complaint had never been made. I found this incredibly disrespectful as a paying guest. What made this even more infuriating was discovering that the problem clearly was not affecting every room as I was initially led to believe. My mother had been staying in the hotel since the previous day and had experienced a similar AC issue. She complained and demanded to be moved to another room — and the hotel moved her. Her new room was perfectly cool and the AC was working. So I went back to the staff and reasonably asked why I should be expected to stay in a room without functioning air conditioning when another room in the same hotel clearly had working AC. I asked to be moved as well. Their response? “If you’re not happy here, you can just book another hotel.” Excuse me? I am a paying customer asking for the most basic facility included with my accommodation to actually function. Instead of trying to resolve the problem or offering an alternative, I was essentially told to leave. This is not customer service. This is not professionalism. And it is certainly not an acceptable way to speak to a guest.
The hotel was very run down, broken lamp in the room. Rips in the leather chairs. Damage to the paint. Mattress was so thin. Front desk staff were helpful as had a late check in.
Location is good, 20 mins from Battersea and a bus route outside the door
It’s a little tired but aircon working and quiet room as facing the rear courtyard
Only the location was good.
Advertised as a 4-star hotel, but the room was nothing like the photos. We stayed on the lower ground floor, where there was a strong smell of damp. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and the mattress was extremely old and stained. None of the plugs worked and several switches were broken. We asked to change rooms but were told it wasn’t possible, and the receptionist was neither helpful nor sympathetic. I’m 7 months pregnant and was extremely uncomfortable staying in a room in this condition. Regardless, I wouldn’t consider it acceptable for anyone to stay in.
All facilities were in good working order and the bed was comfortable
Maybe time to replace pillows with fresh one’s.
The hotel was walking distance to the event I was in London to attend. The room was a nice size, bigger than expected.
I had constant problems getting hold of anyone to confirm I could have a parking space below the hotel. I messaged on booking.com, emailed the hotel and even rang the hotel at the time of booking. I then had problems with parking, getting trapped in the car park. The staff member allowed me to stay parked in one of their spaces. He claimed they had all been booked. The room was a corner room. It was dusty, the curtains were broken in parts and didn't cover all the windows, so I was woken by the sun. It was also surprising hot in the room in September, we needed to have the fan on and windows open overnight despite the heat wave ending a couple of weeks ago.
It was close to everything and I like that it had a fridge microwave toaster and a sink
Nothing
Near work
Not maintained, needs basic repairs to all rooms I’ve stayed in. Windows broken. Too hot. Badly finished everywhere.
It was close to where I needed to be And the fact i was only had to stay for 1 night
Everything....broken aircon in a room 30 degrees...lights hanging out of ceiling of the bathroom...human fecies splatters on wall by toilet roll...main bed was not strictly a bed....the mattress had collapsed before i even attempted to lie on it so i had to sleep in the single bed....im glad I paid for the upgrade to executive room as I now live in fear just how bad the standard rooms could be.
Comfortable beds
Looking a bit tired
Staff were helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable
No shower curtain or glass. Room was marked and tired looking. Very warm in the room
Location
Dirty,no aircon,broken fan,broken tv,broken kettle
Room smelt of smoke. Window did not open
Todo perfecto,
El ascensor no funcionaba
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was perfectly located (we were going to an event at Battersea Park), and the room had all the facilities you could need (good bathroom, fully functioning kitchenette, comfortable bed - and my room even had a small balcony to sit out on!)
I was a bit grumpy when I arrived, because trying to get into the car park wasn't straightforward - but how wonderful that a London hotel has a car park!
Staff were friendly
Downstairs are uninhabitable
Close to Battersea park where we went to watch grease
A bit hot AC not working and we was in the basement
Not much
Smell, window screwed shut
Location was great for Battersea Park. Rooms were big. Unexpected products in bathroom. Rooms were clean. For the price we paid I was pleasantly surprised I must admit.
Booked three rooms. Air con in all three rooms seemed not to work, in terms of adjusting temperature. Curtains either missing or did not fit. Very noisy pub opposite hotel until 4am in the morning. 'No Drugs' sign in hotel lobby is not something I'm used to seeing, but again, I was not surprised.
Good location .
Room old and lifeless.. dark grey decor, scuffed surfaces, No light in shower for 3/4 nights. Lamp had no shade . Old kettle left dumped in room . Mismatch mugs . Fridge didn’t work at all . Informed staff of above daily , nothing done
Location
A bit shabby not sure if the bed linen that fresh !!!!
Honestly I was disappointed the first day we arrived, they had to change us room because of how dirty it was.
The AC was not working, the water was not flowing down the drain properly both from the sink and bathtub. We made complaints a couple of times and still never got any response or they would promise to get it fixed but no one ever came
Location
Taps loose, hot, windows dont open much, bit noisy
It was decent we paid 190 extra 10 for early check in it just looks tired rooms could do with a bit of revamp bigger bin and couple more milk then 4 and hairdryer would be nice to have in the room. Was very hot but we did receive a fan as we couldn’t work the air con.
As above tired and grout could be renewed.
Good location, good value for money, facilities not prestige but comfortable, very helpful staff e.g prompt provision of a fan and extra towels when requested.
Air con would have been greatly appreciated.
When i first went in the hotel , there was another customer frustrated over the sign in system in which i totally agreed as i wasn't expecting take picture of my id then sign in on a computer i much prefer the human than computer, apart from that every thing was fine beds are comfy, brilliant location for the park and shop across the road and am booking to stay again .
The decoration was bit shabby holes in one wall and plaster coming off but nothing that made me want to leave . i took pictures just to be sure.
Budget friendly, right next to a bus stop so I can get right into town. (London Transport bus system is great!l Plenty of space in the room. It even has a fridge and a microwave as well as the tea and coffee station. I liked being able to open the window.
suits me fine. Its not luxurious but its so practical. A small supermarket across the road so I can buy a morning snack and warm it in the microwave
Close to Battersea Park
Air con was broken, room sat at 30 degrees all night, tap in bathroom was broken and only had hot water, sink in kitchen area leaked. Room was tatty, pillows were stained. No bedside lights, only 1 tall standing side light
Location is the highlight of this hotel.
Room had no air-conditioning and unable to open a window. When we complained we have been told they can't do anything about it. We could take it or leave it as they didn't have any other rooms available to swap. Had to ask for a fan to make it bearable. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, if other person moved even the slightest you would feel it.
Great staff
Room was kind of small
Really easy check in, clean and comfortable apartment and lovely area
Because the bathrooms dont have windows they do smell a bit damp but they are very clean it is a minor point
False advertisement. The room was nothing like the picture it was disgusting
The room was really very nice, well serviced each day, good kitchenette. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious Great location near transport and Battersea Park
The air con was not working in the building and it was a heatwave this made it very uncomfortable. They gave me a fan but the heat was very difficult to bear. However they did give me a refund when I checkout early so that's fair. In normal / cool temperatures the hotel would be perfect
The room had no air conditioning & the windows couldn’t be opened. The room smelled very bad. The mattress was damaged with cigarette burns (we don’t smoke), the sheets were not big enough to cover the damaged mattress. The bathroom glass was missing. The hotel staff could not find another room because the hotel was full. Awful
Its a cheap and cheerful place. If you wanted to be nick picky you can be,I was expecting worse when I read the reviews before staying but for the price i paid £120per night it was good value for london. Beds were comfy and bathroom was nice and clean and nice little kitchenette as well. Also there is a nice little restaurant across the road (lost city) They do some good burgers there 😋
The only thing was a bit of a faff not answering messages about reserving a car park space(make sure you do this) As the front entrance to the hotel is on a busy road (no stopping or parking allowed)so I had to park on the street around the corner then walk to reception for them to open gate.
Not much
The air con didn’t work at all. Over priced basically a shitty backpackers
They said it has ac when we checked in there was no ac no ventilation and it was burning inside
It had parking
The room. We turned down the first two, one didn’t have aircon or a kitchenette, just a hole while they were sorting out an issue, the second had no aircon so I opened the window and the whole window fell out on top of me. The third had a fan but no aircon so we stayed that night but were ridiculously hot, and the floor was filthy.
posizione, fermata bus, market, disponibilità del personale, disponibilità di asciugacapelli su richiesta, stanza con AC funzionante su richiesta
la qualità generale della stanza, letti scomodi, finestra cieca e non apribile cucina poco fornita e senza lavello
We needed to be in this location so it was good for us . Big bathroom , kitchen with tea coffee facilities
We had a four night stay booked . The room didn’t have ac even though it clearly stated they did (twice on booking.com) it was 31 degrees in the room , they said the ac was broken and that it had been broken for more than a week and that they contacted booking.com were informed and also the future guests , but not in our case. We were offered to change room from 207 to 107 but it wouldn’t been the same thing and we had to pack all our bags and leave them in the reception all day , they also offered a refund of the remaining of the stay but also we had to pack everything and we would’ve missed our tour and when I checked booking.com in the area where was nothing available for those two nights with ac. They offered a fan and we bought another one. The double bed in the room was the oldest I’ve even seen with two big holes imposible to sleep in , so I let my son sleep in it and asked for an extra bed which was a camping bed with a net holding the thinnest mattress , again impossible to sleep in. One of the newly changed towels had a lot of black long hairs in it , so disgusting , I went down to reception to show them but it was vacant as usual I the evenings, anyone could just walk in as there’s no security either. The photos do no reflect the state of this hotel the table was all peeled off and the shelves and hanging area better be avoided. On the last night they changed the sign on the door to do not disturb and didn’t clean our room. They had offered us a refund on part of our stay reason why we ended staying , but they only refunded £50. A family checking out right before us had the same complaints and we all left the hotel very upset.
Get 8 place
The staff were ok, and the location was good.
The air con didnt work, it was very small, the shower wasnt the best. We was very disapoined in the room. The pictures looked diffrent.
Location is good
Despite being fairly recently redecorated there are are already things in need of repair: holes in walls where door handles have smashed the plasterboard, towel rails pulled off the walls. The air conditioning was broken, the window handle was broken off and hanging open, and as it was hot outside the room was extremely hot all night and I was unable to sleep. There was also a broken spring in the mattress. It took 20 minutes to check in as the the one person on duty had to keep leaving the desk to go and open the gate to the car park.
Lovely big living area with big bathroom space and two showers, nice soft towels, bathroom bits provided and a useful kitchenette.
It was hot, not the hotel fault but in 4th floor and only one fan, limited climate control, a bit sticky to say the least... but to be expected during a heatwave! We requested a cot bed but there was not one available.
The location
We asked for the air conditioning to be put on when we went out but wasn't on when we returned l We had no hairdryer
The room was not ready, nor clean on arrival.
I letti .
La sporcizia .e la camera degradata
Close to the Park where we were attending an event. Also close to train station. Plenty shops and cafes nearby
Very run down. Paintwork all scratched, toilet seat cracked. No air con and small fan ineffective. Walls all chipped
Nothing
Whole place dirty no AC unfriendly staff. DONT STAY HERE
De fácil acceso
No tenía aire acondicionado. Mucho para ser verano
Good space
No air conditioning
Location
All good
Only the fact that my daughter could watch the CARTOONS ON THE TV. VERY OFTEN THE WI- FI CONNECTION WAS GOING OUT. / DES APPEARING... NOT GOOD.
Almost everything ... Were many noises caused by the guests from other room/ during the night time and the receptionist didn't done anything. No clear policies on place. The bathroom was smelling and the sink was stacked... the water was not draining properly....
This is a tough question to answer!! The location was perfect , bathroom was spacious . Bed was comfy !
Now then !! Upon arrival it transpired when we got up to our room it had not need been turned around from previous weed smoking guests ! We given another room , which sadly was not ok as the room lock had broken & the kitchenette was locked up and covered in maintenance signs which was not acceptable as warm wine was not happening!!
Almost anything.
All. Was very bad organized and managed.
Good location. Fare price.
It’s very central to Battersea centre. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel.
There was no one in the reception and we had to call him from the back. It will be nice if there was a bell that we can use to get the staffs’ attention. Also, I don’t think the pictures reflect how the property actually look like.
