Lily Hidden Homestay

Appartamento molto confortevole, grande, pulito. Posizione ottima a due passi dal lago, vicino a ristoranti e servizi. La proprietaria gentilissima, super disponibile. Ci ha fatto trovare acqua fresca in frigor e caffè in regalo, super gradito.

Solo il vicolo per entrare nel cortile e i piani di scale.

Goede locatie. Heel netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken. Je moet inderdaad een paar trappen op maar wij vonden die niet stijl. We hebben 2 slaapkamers gebruikt en deze waren voorzien van heerlijke matrassen. Voldoende beddengoed aanwezig en ook ruim voldoende badhanddoeken. Communicatie met beheerder is top. Snelle reactie en mocht er iets missen zijn ze zeer behulpzaam. Wij moesten helaas een bezoekje brengen aan het ziekenhuis. Eigenaar ingeschakeld en zei heeft voor ons de afspraak in het ziekenhuis geregeld. We hoefden ons alleen nog maar aan te melden.

Amazing location just minutes from the lake. Was a spacious, cool and calm retreat after walking around in the heat. Loved the private rooftop space. Communication was fantastic and we would have loved to have stayed for more than 2 nights

Not a dislike as such, but just be prepared for the hot, narrow flights of stairs to access the property, they can be a struggle with heavy luggage. Entrance is through a small alley, but the shopkeepers at front were very friendly.

Mooi ingericht. Keuken en slaapkamers hadden een airco. Mega grote badkamer. Heel fijn om met een gezin te verblijven. Wasmachine en droger aanwezig die we 3 keer gebruikt hebben ivm het hele warme weer. Locatie is werkelijk top. Als je uit de steeg komt zit er meteen een heerlijk ontbijtadresje met Pho. Gratis flesjes water waar we in deze hele warme dagen graag gebruik van hebben gemaakt.

3e verdieping dus houdt rekening mee dat je nog wat trappen hebt bij aankomst met je koffers. We mochten om 14 uur arriveren. We zijn aankomst in de ochtend (na een nacht overslaan door niet slapen in het vliegtuig), naar massage salon gegaan om tijd te overbruggen. Bij aankomst was de schoonmaakster zeker nog een uur bezig. Dat was voor beide vervelend. Wij moesten echt even gaan slapen en zij moest nog van alles poetsen. Trap naar dakterras in looproute (dochter stootte daar in de nacht haar hoofd flink- opgelost met handdoek aan trap te hangen) Geen fatsoenlijke stoelen op dakterras dus bij minder warm weer kun je daar niet zitten. De ligbedden van de foto staan er niet.

The property was spacious, authentic and beautiful. We didn’t meet our host but she was so fast on replying through WhatsApp and was so accommodating and eager to meet any of our needs.

Our stay was truly wonderful in every way. The house is beautifully decorated with a modern style, and the living spaces are very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families. The location is perfect as well, right in the center and next to the lake. The beds were large and extremely comfortable. The entrance of the building may seem a little intimidating at first, but once you step inside the apartment, you are welcomed by a completely different atmosphere with beautiful design and a very cozy feeling. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always easy to communicate with. Whenever we needed anything, we received a quick response and support immediately. As a lovely welcome gift, the host also gave us Vietnamese coffee, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Thank you so much for everything. If we visit Hanoi again, we would happily stay here again without hesitation.

The only thing I did not like was the strong bathroom smell on the second floor while going up the stairs. It was most likely coming from another apartment in the building. However, by the end of the third day, it was cleaned and the smell was mostly gone, with only a slight odor remaining.

Lily Hidden Homestay was my favourite accommodation during our entire 3 week holiday in Vietnam. The apartment is spacious and comfortable- it felt like a home away from home. Location is unbeatable if you want to stay right in the heart of the old town. It was amazing value and the host is super lovely and generous.

We didn’t mind the stairs to reach the apartment but they could be a challenge for some travellers

L'emplacement parfait dans le vieux Hanoï, tout en étant dans une rue très calme. L'hôte est très serviable, et vraiment à l'écoute de toutes nos demandes (garde des valises, arrivée tardive, départ tardif). Je recommande volontiers cet hébergement !

Ευρύχωρο διαμέρισμα, μεγάλα δωμάτια, στο κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης, μεγάλο μπάνιο και κουζίνα. Ποιοτικά στρώματα, ωραία διακόσμηση, καθαροί χώροι.

No elevator is so challenging to move in and out with luggages.

I needed a one night stay in Hanoi for my small family of three and when I saw Lily’s I knew we to stay there. While we were just three, this place can fit many more and we enjoyed the layout and generous amenities, particularly the washer and dryer! They set up all the rooms with some extra beds but we only needed two. Really clear and easy to reference instructions for check in. It’s really comfortable, tasteful and in a great location. Lily the host is fabulous and so helpful organising driver and recommendations for food and salons! I really enjoyed staying here and wished we had another night.

Not dislikes as such just things to note: The apt is tucked inside a building so need to enter via an alley corridor. Some who are used to hotel entrance or street entry would not like this. I found this part of the experience but can see if someone wouldn’t appreciate it. I think it’s four sets of stairs up. So be prepared to do some stairs. They can get someone to help with bags but not idea for big suitcases. I had medium and prob would have struggled without help. The balcony is not accessible, only the rooftop terrace.

Polecam. Rewelacyjna lokalizacja, blisko do wszystkich atrakcji. Cicho i spokojnie. Wejście przez podwórko może odstraszać, ale jak już wejdziesz do apartamentu to super. Wszystko zgodne z opisem, apartament duży, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzeba. Bardzo pomocni właściciele.

The location is very good ! The staff is helpful ! The household is on the 4 floor , if has many luggage, should tell the house owner, she will arrange people to carry it to the house！

This property is a lovely surprise..it’s very spacious and clean, with a real ‘taste of Vietnam’. Ideal for a family travelling together. The kitchen and dining room were incredible, as was the main bedroom area.. and truly..we loved our stay. Thank you to the lovely host Lily.

The stairs were a bit scary, especially at night…but I couldn’t mark the property down for this as it was mentioned in the listing.

Communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated the early check-in and the clear instructions for self check-in made everything easy. A thoughtful gift from the host upon payment was a lovely surprise. The apartment was comfortable and clean. We only stayed one night but had a great experience — would love to return next time we’re in Hanoi.

Huge property and lovely rooms, comfy beds and well equipped. Really special place. We stayed here for my birthday and the host even brought me a birthday cake 🥹

A lovely hidden gem in the middle of Hanoi. The host was incredibly helpful and kind allowing us to leave our luggage a little longer before we got on our flight. The apartment is big and beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend for a great value, stay in Hanoi.

A great place to stay in the heart of Hanoi, barely a minute away from the lake! The accomodation was secure, clean, and comfortable and I would certainly recommend it as a place to stay!

Stunning apartment. Designed down to the smallest detail, well equipped, huge. Air conditioning in every room. All equipment is brand new including a washing machine and dryer. Central location, a minute walk to the lake, the night market, cafes and restaurants. Lily, the owner of the apartment, is simply charming and helpful.

Recently, my family had an amazing experience staying at Lily Hidden Homestay. Its central location was perfect, just a few steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake and other famous attractions. The space was quiet, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere that truly felt like home. The host was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist whenever needed. We were thoroughly impressed and would definitely return if we have the chance to visit Hanoi again. Highly recommended!

Excellent location at the Hanoi Old Quarter. It is like its name, it is really a hidden gem where you will find very good furnished apartment with 2 bed-rooms and very large kitchen and dining room. Very cleaning apartment. Worth recommending for my friends and colleagues when they come to Hanoi.

During the summer time, the dining room is a bit hot, we already told the owner and she said she will fix it soon.
