The atmosphere, the attention to beautiful design details, the breakfasts!, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive.

That I didn't make taxi reservations directly through the hotel prior to arriving at the airport. We had transportation that dropped us off at a traffic circle far from our Riad. We were so lost. When the gentleman who greeted us at Door Janna saw what we looked like (exhausted and very sweaty) he sat us right down in a cool, comfortable area and brought us tea and sweets while he took care of the paperwork and our bags. We definitely booked our taxi with them to return to the airport. A lovely young man at the hotel took our bags by cart from the Riad to the awaiting taxi. You won't really understand what an amazing service this is until you have to pull bags over cobblestone through alleyways in the dark if your random taxi driver drops you off far from Riad Door Janna.

The pool was really more fit for a paddle rather than a swim but it didn’t detract!

Wow Wow Wow! Door Janna truly felt like home. We were so sad to leave and honestly wished we could have extended our stay. First things first, the location is right in the middle of the Medina. As soon as you left the riad you were surrounded with markets and shops, and within a 5 minute walk, taxis were available. The breakfast at the riad was also delicious! We loved the crepes, tea, and omelette and were so full because there was a lot of food. When we checked in, we were welcomed with mint tea and small snacks, so we truly felt like we were at home. We also had a tour to the sahara and they were nice enough to store our luggage for us until we returned from the tour. All in all, I cannot wait to come back to Marrakesh and stay here. Everyone at the front was very sweet and genuine.

Sometimes the elevators did not work, but this wasn't a huge deal as the stairs weren't too bad.

The Door Janna Raia is just exquisite, an oasis in the middle of Medina. The personnel was just lovely, particularly the ladies who serve breakfast. There was always water in the room and every detail in the Raia was thought through

Great location, lovely friendly staff and the riad itself was the perfect tranquil spot to relax. The rooftop pool was also an added bonus.

A more recently refurbished riad with very high quality attractive modern Moroccan styled fittings and finish. The staff were lovely, being efficient, friendly and caring particularly Chaima who served our breakfast daily, after the first day, always remembered exactly what we wanted to eat. This riad unusually also had a modern lift serving all floors and a lovely roof terrace with plenty of shade. There is a very shallow rooftop plunge pool, not for any form of swimming (but nice to dip into). Although located within a alleyway we felt very safe in this well located part of the Medina, being very quiet but very close to shopping. We walked throughout the old city with all areas easily accessible (<5 minutes walk to Tinsmiths Square, and 5 -7 minutes walk to Jemaa el Fnaa square). As the riad is so close to Tinsmiths square it was easily accessible by taxi with only a short walk required.

Breakfast was exceptional and all staff absolutely lovely. Very hardworking. The place is so peaceful and beautiful!

Belle terrasse. Très bon accueil. Excellent service et amabilité du personnel. Réactivité aux messages envoyés via Booking. Disponibilité de la chambre à notre arrivée vers midi. Un grand Merci aux 2 dames très sympathiques se chargeant de la préparation du petit-déjeuner. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir le prendre avant (en raison de visites réservées ou départ matinal le dernier jour). Un service extraordinaire. Merci pour ça ! Excellent petit-déjeuner avec des produits frais. Tout est fait pour rendre le séjour agréable. Merci pour tout !!

My friend and I stayed in Door Janna for 4D3N and loved our experience there. The Riad is located within the Medina, so stores are easily accessible. The staff, Yassine, also went out of his way numerous times to care for us when one of us had a scratched finger. He kept a lookout for me to ensure I was safe when I was feeding the kittens right outside the riad. When I had my finger scratched, he was quick to bring a first aid kit to attend to it. Never have I felt so grateful for a staff’s help. The other staff (lady in glasses) who prepares our breakfast every morning also made our day a memorable one. She knew I was unwell one of the days and checked in on me when I went to the rooftop for my breakfast the next. I do not regret booking this accommodation at all, and in fact, this is the only riad I will return to when I am back in Marrakech. A big thank you to the staff who have been working tirelessly to ensure guests are satisfied with their stay!

As with all riads, it is not accessible to get there by car. Your driver will drop you off at Place Mellah, and you will need to walk there (5 minutes) to get there. Would suggest asking the staff to do a pick up from the Mellah.

Absolutely incredible riad, beautiful decor, comfortable, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, great location in the medina near to taxis and cashpoints, quiet away from all the noise, lovely breakfast on the rooftop, it’s even better than the pictures. Stunning! Do not hesitate to book Door Janna!

Lovely accommodating staff, very helpful. Our room was wonderful - they brought me mint tea every night I asked. They gave suggestions. Quiet as can be at night.

Amazing interior design with beautiful areas to relax and read. We had 2 suites which had the most confortable beds and luxurious bathtubs. Breakfast was delicious. There is also a high spec Hamman Spa in the riad where we had the signature Hamman. Khadija who oversaw our Hamman was exceptional.

The staff were very helpful, the Riad was beautiful, clean and cool. The location was also great, right in the heart of the old town. We enjoyed great breakfasts and the rooftop terrace was great for relaxing and sitting on the edge of the cool pool (shallow, not for swimming). Would definitely recommend this Riad.

We cannot recommend the Door Janna highly enough. The newly refurbished riad is of outmost beautiful design where history and tradition meet contemporary design highlighting Marrakech's heritage and Morocco's culture. Very stylish. All the staff were extremely kind, courteous and very hospitable, yet discreet and professional. There was no request which has not been fulfilled quickly, very often exceeding our expectations. Breakfast was simply delicious. Riad is perfectly located close to the souks and old town attractions. If you are an animal lover, please do not forget about the furry residents of Marrakech - cats. Be generous in feeding them proper cat food or fresh meet from the butcher, as we did - they need that help a lot. Thank you.

The Door Janna is hard to fault. Perhaps we were too early in the season but with our next stay we look forward to a drink on a beautiful cozy terrace which was open in the evenings however, the bar was not operating at that time of the day.

Really nice Riad that was presented immaculately from the moment you went inside. Staff were exceptional and nothing seemed too much to ask. Breakfast was a friendly relaxed environment with some really quality food presented to your table.

100% Recommend!!! It’s a nice place to disconnect. In general the people working at the Door Janna are very nice, specially Yassine who was very helpful and always with a smile. The breakfast is also good. The location is ideal to visit the city and to disconnect from all the noise of the city.

Superlief en behulpzaam personeel. Schoon en een mooie kamer. De kamer ruikt ook heerlijk en lekkere douchelotion etc. De foto’s zijn precies zoals het is. Op de rooftop ontbeten toen het weer lekker was. Echt een aanrader! Ook de locatie, je loopt zo het centrum in en in het Riad geen herrie maar rustig.

The riad was absolutely stunning with details in every corner. The staff was so attentive and helpful and seemed to love what they do. It was so quiet and clean Delicious breakfast included! The next time I return I will be staying here again. Thank you to the wait staff and Lesine the maitre especially for making our first few days in Marrakech enjoyable!

If I could rate higher than a 10 I would, I'm leaving my heart at this riad! From the moment I stepped in, after a long & hectic day of travel, I was enveloped in such a drastically different sense of peace & comfort (+ delicious traditional mint tea & sweets!). While the accommodations were stunning, & exceeded every expectation, it was truly the staff who made this stay unforgettable, specifically Raja & Yassine. I was fasting for Ramadan, & they went above & beyond to provide incredible suhoor & iftar accommodations for me every day. I was truly spoiled by their kindness. They even saved the day when I realized just 20 minutes before my pickup time that I’d booked my car to the airport for the wrong date -- Raja managed to secure a last-minute taxi while Yassine helped me with my heavy luggage without a second thought! As a solo female traveler, I was also grateful that the location is extremely central & walking-distance from everything I wanted to see. I felt completely safe navigating the local streets, & returning to the riad truly felt like coming home. I also highly recommend the traditional Moroccan Hammam on-site -- it was hijabi-friendly, the staff was extremely sweet, & it was such a rejuvenating & memorable experience. The staff made this riad feel like a safe, serene home away from home. I arrived as a stranger & left feeling like family. Counting down the days until I’m back! :)

Wunderschönes Riad inmitten der Medina. Eine absolute Oase in der belebten Medina. Zimmer sehr komfortabel und sauber. Kurze Wege zu allen wichtigen Attraktionen.

Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft inmitten der Medina, super Lage und tolles Personal die immer Vor Ort sind und einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablesen. Chaima hat uns jeden Morgen mit einem tollen Frühstück auf der Dach Terrasse empfangen. Und auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter haben den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht :)

The Door Janna was a perfect stay while in Marrakech. The location was prime as it was close to the Medina but also located on a quiet street allowing for a restful stay. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so friendly and welcoming . The breakfast was great and the rooms were always neat and clean. I highly recommend this Riyad to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Exceptional property with beautiful design touches. There are cozy corners where you can relax. The rooms were very clean and all of the staff were extremely polite, kind and helpful. The spa facility was also excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Beautiful Riad in the medina. It was easy to get to from the main road- only a short walk and the riad arranged porters for our luggage. It is a great location close to some great restaurants and not far from the main square, Bahia palace, El badi palace, and the Saadian tombs. The rooms were spacious (we had a suite) and very quiet. The morning breakfast was excellent (there was a selection of breads, egg dishes, yogurt, fruit, and coffee/tea).

We absolutely loved our stay at Door Janna. Beautiful Riad in an excellent location for exploring Marrakesh. We paid a bit extra for a suite and it was well worth it for special occasion. The staff were extremely helpful - no job too big or small! Oh and breakfast was superb.

The location is unbeatable — tucked away on a quiet street just 50m from all the buzz. It’s easy to access and only a five-minute walk from a pickup point for cars. The quality of the finish throughout the hotel is exceptional, from the beautifully designed courtyard to the restaurant serving amazing freshly prepared breakfasts, and of course the stunning rooms. The rooms are modern, (and immaculately clean), but retain that traditional Moroccan style. The staff are genuinely lovely and deliver service to the highest standard. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

One of the experiences I was most excited about in Marrakech! I spent quite a lot of time searching for the perfect riad — the right balance of design, location, and comfort. At the very last moment, I came across Riad Door Janna on Booking.com. It immediately stood out with its beautiful design, fair price, and a fantastic location within walking distance of the main sights. Riad Door Janna is a traditional Moroccan home built around a serene inner courtyard. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of peace — the soft sound of the fountain, the charming traditional décor, the warm atmosphere. We stayed at Riad Door Janna enjoying the calm and tranquility, treated ourselves to a relaxing massage, and took a long bath in a spacious and comfortable bathroom. Our room was large, stylish, and incredibly cozy — a perfect retreat after exploring the city. There is also a lovely rooftop terrace — the quietest little haven with sunbeds, breakfast tables, and birds singing above the Medina. Every morning the wonderful Chaima took care of us, serving delicious Moroccan crêpes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and even going out of her way to buy oat milk so she could prepare coffee just the way we like it. And of course, we drank mint tea every single day — it was the best we had in Marrakech. We left absolutely delighted with our stay at Riad Door Janna, and I wholeheartedly recommend this special place to anyone planning a visit to Marrakech. It truly made our trip unforgettable.

This Riad is just beautiful. When you enter Door Janna, you are transferred from the hustle and noise of the medina into the most serene environment. Beautifully decorated, you just want to immerse yourself in this little gem of a Riad. The staff are all wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are large and inviting, and the beds are very comfortable. Would I recommend Door Janna. Most definitely! Five Stars *****!

Attitude of Receptionist Ismail should be better

The Riad was tranquil and clean. It was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I want to single out Yassine who did everything in his power to help me with my onward journey. I highly recommend this property.

To be honest not a lot of, if there was anything , the pool is more Of a dip pool , you could not swim but it would was very nice , If I was going to request anything if would be drinks on the Roof terrace at sunset would be fantastic as it’s very nice

Ik vond de inrichting echt prachtig en een heel fijn dakterras met zwembad. Daarnaast hebben we een paar hele lieve personeelsleden gesproken en was de locatie lekker rustig gelegen terwijl je vlakbij de drukte zat. De kamers hadden alles was je nodig hebt en lekker modern ingericht. De bedden waren ook top.

Het onbijt was lekker, alleen wel heel veel zoetigheid. Er mogen van mij iets meer gezonde alternatieven aangeboden worden. Maar het is ook heel leuk dat het traditioneel is. Er was een personeelslid die we wat minder aardig vonden. We werden door een man buiten bedreigd en daar reageerde deze meneer verder niet echt op. We vonden hem wat onaardig uit de hoek komen. En ik zou een fijne chill bank neerzetten in de openbare ruimte zodat je daar ook lekker kan relaxen.
