Keith and his lovely wife were very welcoming in to there beautiful B&B . Keith showed us up our room and explained everything you could wish to know. The room is immaculate with a lovely comfy bed and clean linen. Nice and quiet, not far from st Anne’s pubs shops etc . The breakfast was wow the best we’ve ever had It was cooked to perfection and big ,so tasty and quality food Also cereal fruit homemade cakes so much choice and a nice pot of tea or coffee and juices. Can’t wait to stay again it’s a real gem . It made our weekend .

Location... Everything is in walking distance, beach, shops Restaurants, pubs & bus stops if you want to get out & about. Lovely Spacious Room, king size bed, Good size bathroom/shower, Tea & Coffee etc. Breakfast... Very good Quality Food, plenty to choose from hot or cold. 10/10. Sets you up for the day. Keith & Kate make you feel so welcomed, very attentive Hosts. This is not our first visit & will be booking again.

Keith & Kate were very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast was wonderful,lots of choices for continental or full cooked breakfast. The room was quite large and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was even a fan in the room.. Keith was very informative and would help/recommend places to go/or eat out. Thank you for a lovely weekend we will definitely book again.

Only 1 small thing is there are 2 sittings for breakfast. Either 8.00am or 9.15am. This you can understand as they have 6 rooms and are trying to accommodate everyone. We didn’t have to order the breakfast the night before as quite often you have to do in B&Bs.

Kate and Keith were exceptional hosts. We left very early two mornings to attend The Open and they prepared breakfast for us in a cooler bag. The third morning we were treated to a delicious full English breakfast.

If you are looking at this property simply hit BOOK!. If you miss it being available you will regret it.This property is perfect. Keith and Kate welcome you in and its like staying with family. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Kate cooks the breakfast to order with aplomb. The whole breakfast experience is so relaxed. These two have it off to a fine art! The hotel is one mile from the buzz of Blackpool and walking distance to hotels with bars and a very fine Mediterranean restaurant. Then you walk home and have the best night undisturbed sleep.

We were in a fabulous location with a lovely clean room and wonderful hosts.

The only issue was the lack of power to the shower as we were in the very top room, however it was a small thing and didn’t detract from our stay.

The whole experience was awesome. A wonderful welcome, fabulous service, attention to detail was amazing. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had many breakfasts! Keith and Kate are amazing hosts and I’d be happy to recommend The Gaydon to everyone, it will not disappoint.

Everything about The Gaydon is amazing. From the moment you meet Kate and Keith you feel the warmth and the welcome. We stayed in room 4 on the top floor which is a lovely room filled with African delights, pictures interior design, everything has been thought out and they have thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Kate and Keith are really welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was excellent. We loved it.

We liked the Hotel and Keith and Kate were good hosts. The bedroom was spotless and comfortable and the Shower was good. The location was handy tor a bus and then a tram to where we wanted to go, The breakfast was good. The Sherry was a nice touch at 5pm every day.

I would have liked some pastries and fresh fruit instead of tinned fruit for Continental Breakfast. Croisants or Danish pastries would have been nice.

The Gaydon is a wonderful place to stay......Kate and Keith are amazing hosts and are so friendly and attentive. The Room was spotlessly clean and the King Size bed was so comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a full choice of well cooked and continental fayre (So Tasty) the warm cinnamon muffin was a highlight. Keith is a mine of information in regard to the local area and can advise of places to visit, restaurants to try and walks to take further afield.

The breakfast was excellent and the cooked meal superbly prepared. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The decor in our room was based on Africa. The location was ideal for the coast as well as local shops and free street parking on the road outside the hotel, as well as 2 spaces on the frontage itself. We’d happily stay at the Gaydon again.

The only downside was the shower temperature adjustment which we were advised not to move. This made it difficult as we like contrasting water temperatures usually.

This was my first ever B&B and it was excellent, Keith & Kate were very gracious and generous hosts, the breakfast was exceptional, you cannot go wrong with the Gaydon.

It was a fantastic building, full of character. The location was great with plenty of parking available. The room and bed were very comfortable and it felt like home, but with much nicer bedding! Lovely touches like sherry available at 6 o’clock. There were even scissors available to open stubborn packets. (Very welcome as I have arthritic hands.) The breakfast was delicious and the homemade muffins were to die for. All the ceramics are Portmeirion and made such a lovely change from the usual chunky white. There was a fantastic playlist, subtly in the background, which I could have listened to all day. The hosts were friendly, interesting, helpful and knowledgeable. Perfect. There were no fire doors banging and people talking loudly. Everyone respected other people’s comforts. Another plus was the number of mirrors available in the correct places for hair and makeup, with plug points close by. Something overlooked in other establishments. The list could go on. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again if we were up this way. Fabulous find. Thank you Kate and Keith.

The roller blind cords were a little high for me to reach, but I am short. That is the only thing I can think of, so that says a lot.

A lovely place to stay, close to amenities. The Gaydon is well located near to the beach. The hosts, Kate and Keith were very welcoming and hospitable. It is run very efficiently and all the information you needed was at hand in the folder kept in our room. The room was very comfortable, clean with tea/coffee and biscuits and a TV. Toiletries were also provided in the en-suite. The breakfast was also good and you could eat as much as you wanted so no need to have an early lunch! We would definitely recommend a stay here. No problem with parking either.

We loved everything about the Gaydon B&B. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Keith &Kate and were made to feel very welcome. Our room was well appointed with all the amenities you could ask for. We especially enjoyed reading the very informative guest information booklet which was great for getting to know the local area and different attractions. The free breakfast was very much welcomed; there was an excellent choice of good quality hot and cold food with an endless supply of toast and coffee. This was our first stay at the Gaydon and it will not be our last.

The bed was massive. So comfortable. We didn't want to get up and explore. Location is great, very close to the pier. Easy access to the train in to both Lytham and Blackpool. The hosts are so wonderful, really pleasant, helpful and they do a great breakfast.

We stayed at the Gaydon for a weekend the end of April. Before arriving we had excellent communication with the hosts regarding arrival time. When we arrived we were greeted by Keith and Kate. We were shown to our room which was absolutely gorgeous on the top floor. She showed us a book that had all the places of interest around the area, restaurants and bars etc. Really really helpful! Kate and Keith are just the best hosts! They can’t do enough for you. The room was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. It was well equipped with a kettle, tea coffee, milk sachets and even scissors to open them. The breakfast is amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had. Not an ounce of grease or fat. Plenty to choose from. Cereals, yoghurts, muffins, fruit, orange juice, apple juice, water, tea, coffee, full English, or if you want something they can also do that too! Complimentary sherry of an evening too which is a lovely touch! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend here. There’s a sign at the bottom of the stairs too, which I think is really nice as it’s true! It’s says “arrive as guests and leave as friends. Thanks so much Keith and Kate!

From start to finish our 2 night stay was fabulous. A lovely, friendly welcome from Keith and Kate was a great start that only got better. Our room was larger than we expected, which was a lovely suprise, with all amenities as expected. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom roomy and spotless. The breakfast was one of the best we've had! Would highly recommend staying at The Gaydon and we will definitely be returning.

A gem of a B&B for our 3night stay. Extremely clean. Comfortable, quality super king bed, bed linen and towels( latter changed daily) Spacious bedroom and en-suite. TV, hairdryer, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc and complimentary sherry of an evening downstairs. Beautifully cooked, delicious breakfasts with good choice. Cereals, toast, tea and good coffee, fresh fruits, yoghurts and homemade muffins. Quality crockery. Excellent location, minutes from the Esplanade. The purpose of our visit was to attend ballroom competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens. We prefer to stay in Lytham St Annes as it is such a charming little resort and only a short drive from Blackpool. Keith and Kate are the perfect hosts- such lovely, friendly people. Nothing is too much trouble to them and they ensure that their guests have the best experience. Fantastic work ethic. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Keith and Kate were excellent hosts going the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I particularly liked the additional blankets in the room during our winter stay. Breakfast menu was extensive and nothing was too much trouble.

Kate and Keith are exceptional hosts. From check in to check out, nothing was too much trouble. The Gaydon is exceptional. I’ve visited a lot of hotels and b & bs around this area to visit family, and not one of them compares to here. The Gaydon is exceptionally clean, the breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Thank you so much for a first class stay and I can’t wait to book with Kate and Keith again.

The Gaydon was a wonderful little B&B set away from the centre of town on a quite street that fronted up to the main promenade and beach. The hosts, Keith and Kate couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfasts they provided were top notch with plenty to choose from, fresh fruit, choice of cereal and many different choices on the cooked breakfasts along with a choice of tea, coffee or fruit juice. The room we stayed in was very well presented with a large bed with freshly laundered bed linen daily. The bed itself was super comfy. The room also had an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Our room was on the ground floor, which was ideal for us as stairs can sometimes be a bit of an issue for us. They also employed an open door policy with no curfew. Given the chance, we would love to return.

There is parking available. The room we had was spacious and well equipped and it was nice and cosy. Kate and Keith are lovely and can't do enough for you to make your stay a pleasant experience. This was our second visit!
