What a fantastic place to stay!!! Nice and close to Tianmen Mountain and you are driven there and picked up for free. The owner was so lovely and hospitable and gave us a map and explained the route we should take through a great little translation device. The room itself was very comfortable with a balcony and we loved the bathroom. It has a great homestay personalised feel about it. There are 2 cats who are so friendly and entertaining. This place was one of the highlights of our China trip

Нам подробно объяснили лучшие маршруты по горам Тяньмэнь и Аватара (Чжанцзяцзе), подсказывая, как лучше спланировать день. Кроме того, нас невероятно выручили с трансфером буквально везде отвозили на машине. ​Забота о гостях здесь действительно на высшем уровне. Большое спасибо за идеальный отдых!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It is a small, family-run and very authentic hotel with a beautiful and interesting Chinese-style interior. The location is excellent, very close to the Tianmen Cableway, which was extremely convenient for us. There are no shops nearby, but the owners kindly helped us get everything we needed, so it was never a problem. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. They provided us with a free transfer to the cableway and back, and they also kindly drove us to the airport free of charge. One evening, they even prepared a wonderful dinner for us, which we enjoyed on the veranda in a lovely atmosphere. We were also upgraded to a room with a beautiful mountain view, which made our stay even more special. The room is a little bit dated, but it is very beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would especially like to thank the owners for their warm welcome, genuine hospitality, and excellent service. They truly made us feel at home and took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

As a small suggestion, it would be wonderful if the hotel could offer a European-style breakfast as well. This would make the stay even more comfortable for international guests.

The hosts were very hospitable and went above and beyond for us. The language barrier was not an issue as they were able to communicate with us with a translate machine. When we arrived they gave us details on how to use apps, locations and must-visit local places.

The location was perfect for us: a quiet escape after busy cities. Possibility to order lunch and dinner (home-cooked meals) was also great. Plus very helpful stuff. We also got help with transfers and tickets. Can only recommend.

Nothing really. However, the rooms we had might not fit everyone (we did like them though) - both rooms had stairs and the bed was on the second floor. Again, for us not really a minus.

Although we only stayed for one night, it was enough to realize that this was the best accommodation of our entire trip to China. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel genuinely welcome. They were incredibly kind, caring, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The level of hospitality we received was truly exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. The next morning, we left our luggage at the hotel while we visited Tianmen Mountain. They helped us purchase our tickets, carefully explained the best route to make the most of our visit, and even drove us to the entrance of the mountain. Thanks to their advice and support, everything was easy and stress-free, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience. The food was excellent, with delicious homemade dishes, and the breakfast was also outstanding—the perfect way to start the day. The room was comfortable, spotless, and very peaceful, providing a great night’s rest. What makes this place truly special, however, is the people. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care for their guests made our stay unforgettable. Without any doubt, this was the best accommodation of our entire trip around China. We recommend it wholeheartedly, and if we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Posizione eccellente, stanze spaziose , pace e tranquillità. Non abbiamo usato la piscina per via del meteo , ma sembrava stupenda. Ma soprattutto staff eccezionale, ci hanno portato all’ingresso del sito e ripresi, oltretutto accompagnandoci alla stazione. Ottima cena!

Chiaramente le rifiniture non sono eccezionali , la grande umidità del posto non aiuta di certo con il buon mantenimento .

A hidden gem in a quiet residential area, with a beautiful outdoor and indoor seating area. The staff was incredibly warm, not only dropping us off at Tianmen gate but also sending us off at the train station. The breakfast (dumplings, fried rice or noodle soup) was delicious. They offered to give us a room upgrade which was very kind of them. They have many little adorable kittens on the property (in their cage).

No elevator so many stairs for guests staying on the third floor (with a moderate amount of luggage). The room we stayed in could benefit from a fresh coat of pain to cover the scribbles on the walls

Charmantes familiengeführtes Hotel in sehr ruhiger Wohngegend mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Nur 5 min Fahrzeit von der Tianmen Berg Talstation entfernt und einer äußerst leckeren lokalen Küche. Die Dachterrasse bei unserem Zimmer mit großer Loggia bietet bei gutem Wetter einen fantastischen Blick auf die Tianmenhöhle. Die sehr hilfsbereite ,nette Tochter hilft bei Bedarf auch bei der Tourenbuchung im Nationalpark sowie der Ticketbuchung. Eine äußerst gemütliche Terrasse steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. Das Restaurant war sehr hübsch und gemütluch. Alles in allem einer der besten Aufenthalte, die wir hier in China hatten, wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

La ubicacion del hotel fue mejor de lo que esperabamos, a solo 5 minutos en auto hacia la entrada de la puerta del cielo, de hecho puedes ver la montaña a la salida del hotel, cuentan con servicio de restaurante comida deliciosa tradicional, el personal demasiado amable y amistoso, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos, estamos muy agradecidos, la recomiendo en 100%

The Place is amazing 🤩 the view is fabulous 😍 Host are really friendly, always happy to help find tickets, can recommend what is the best to take and will explain all the routes. Sehr herzlicher Besitzer, hat uns gut beraten für den Besuch des Tianmen Berges und uns hingebracht und spät am Abend auch wieder abgeholt. Wir haben ausserdem ein gratis Upgrade des Zimmers erhalten. Das Internet war relativ schnell im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels.

Es gab nicht genug Toilettenpapier. Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten, aber ist reichhaltig und schmeckt sehr gut.

Tutto. La struttura è molto bella, pulita ed immersa in una zona tranquilla (con bellissima vista sul monte Tianmen). Il proprietario è di una gentilezza e disponibilità mai viste prima da nessuna parte, ci ha accompagnato più volte ed è sempre disponibile. La colazione è solo orientale, e nonostante non sia nelle nostre preferenze in generale, abbiamo mangiato il riso fritto con uova più buono di sempre!! Consigliatissimo

The hotel is very cozy and family oriented. Mr & Mrs Zhang were very very helpful, always ready to accomodate whenever possible. Rooms were very clean, except maybe the curtains in the shower area could be replaced with material that are not easily stained. And a bathroom floor mat would be good too. Other than that, service was excellent. Breakfast was hot, cook to order.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request. The location is outstanding, offering both convenience and beautiful surroundings. From the garden area near our room, we were delighted to enjoy a stunning view of Tianmen Mountain, which made our experience even more memorable.

La parte migliore di questa struttura è sicuramente lo staff, gentilissimo e disponibile in ogni occasione. Non solo ti portano alla funivia di Tianmen Mountain, ti possono anche venire a prendere. Colazione buonissima e abbondante gratis con grande considerazione anche di allergie o problemi da "occidentale" (offrono le forchette). È presente un negozietto a 100 metri per comprare qualcosa da sgranocchiare per il viaggio e in struttura offrono dei rimedi contro la pioggia in caso di meteo sfavorevole. Camere pulite e con tutte le necessità, non potrei veramente raccomandare nient'altro.

Lovely spacious room in close proximity to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station. Although staff don’t speak much English, the translation device they use is very effective. The team were kind enough to help with an itinerary, booking tickets as well as arranging a complementary one way airport transfer and shuttle service to the cable car station.

This is a guesthouse located at the foot of Tianmen Mountain. Although it's not very large, it's beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. The staff are enthusiastic, professional, and provided excellent service. They were very patient and skilled in addressing all our questions—what a fantastic team! We had a most enjoyable stay. The location is simply ideal for accessing Tianmen Mountain; the complimentary shuttle service whisked us to the entrance in a mere two minutes. The breakfast was a pleasant affair with authentic Chinese options, and the provision of proper coffee and toast was much appreciated. The staff deserve high praise for their professional and courteous service, particularly in assisting us with ticket purchases and travel arrangements. It made everything wonderfully straightforward. An absolutely splendid stay. The hotel's greatest asset is its proximity to the mountain, with the complimentary shuttle getting you to the entrance in a mere two minutes. The property is situated close to Tianmen mountain but away from the busy streets, which we liked. The owners were lovely and welcoming. After checking out, we left our luggage there whilst we explored the area, which we appreciated. The owners offered to take us to the train station but we opted to get a taxi as we had some stop-offs to make on the way. The room was nice and clean, and the AC was amazing!! The breakfast was lovely, though my chopstick skills are woeful! The hotel seems to be family run and they are all so lovely.

Сам отель отличный. По расположению не далеко от аэропорта. До горы Тяньмэнь нас довез трансфер от отеля, спасибо большое администратору. Мы просто выбрали не совсем удачный номер в 2 этажа. 1 этаж очень тесный, нет возможности разместить - разложить багаж. да и не набегаешься с 1 на 2 этаж. Но это нюансы, просто выбирайте другой номер. В номере чисто, постель удобная. Завтрак отличный - брали лапшу, очень вкусно. В номер бы добавить функционала, бетонный пол застелить ковром и все будет супер.

Very hard for DiDi drivers to find, the location listed on booking.com is not the correct address. Includes home cooked breakfast - which was nice but just Chinese noodles/dumplings as options.

The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The views of Tianmen mountain were incredible and it was a nice change of scenery after staying in the heart of Shanghai! We enjoyed breakfast and lunches cooked by the in house chef. The owners helped us with driving us to the cablecar as well and provided recommendations and travel advice for the area. I would definitely recommend staying here :)

N/A however there are no elevators so if you are travelling with multiple pieces of luggage, you will need to take it up a flight of stairs

Lovely hotel next to the wonder of the world. This is a very cozy and comfortable hotel, with hospitable people who will help in everything and feed if you did not have time to have dinner. We were fed with dumplings and wontons, they were very tasty and fresh. The hotel is close to the second lift to the top and Fairy Fox Theater. The beds are comfortable, the blankets are large and soft. There are air conditioners, balcony. The towels are soft and absorb moisture well. Excellent and soft toothbrushes. On the ground floor there is a massage chair and billiards.

Host was excellent. Provided us free pick up and drop from airport and also to city center which made our stay extremely comfortable. He also helped us a great deal in planning our two day trip.

Bathtub had no water. Room service/cleaning can improve a little. Breakfast should include basic items like bread, eggs and butter.
