Flower Whisperer Homestay Tianmenshan Store free airport and station pick-up English language service

Te llevan y traen a tianmen.

Our stay was cancelled without clear reason by housekeeper

From the moment we made our reservation, everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful. Julie was always thoughtful, responsive, and attentive to every detail, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The place truly made us feel at home. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, cozy, and very well maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As an added bonus, we could enjoy a beautiful view of Tianmen Mountain directly from the balcony of our room, which made our stay even more special. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The owner truly pays attention to the guests and makes sure everyone feels welcome and well cared for. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. Overall experience exceeded our expectations. Another great advantage is the location, which is very close to one of the area's major attractions, making it convenient for sightseeing.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and everything was clean and new. The property is in a quiet location surrounded by the mountains, which was a great escape from our city stops. We were still about to get DiDi’s and food delivery when needed. Owen and Zhao Liujuan were extremely helpful and helped us plan our routes and organised our tickets and transport all for a fair price. We were able to do everything we wanted in 2 days. The complimentary Chinese breakfast was a noodle in broth dish with an egg and a bun, and was delicious. Could not recommend this property enough, the price was very fair.

This hotel is family owned and you can tell they take pride in their service.

Amazing property! The owner is super nice, and the facilities are practically new. Very nicely decorated. The food is amazing - do order lunch or dinner 🙌🏻 you are not gonna regret it.

Privately owned; owner picked us up and dropped us off close-by during our stay; they went out of their way to accommodate any of our wishes; highly recommended to go up to Tianmen Mountain during the day and see the Fox show in the evening. Very strategic place for package C (cable car in the morning).

nothing really; it is not a high-end luxury hotel but we did not expect it anyway. Clean, cozy, calm...perhaps not ideal for a visit to town but a Didi costs very little.

Owen and his family were brilliant and very helpful. He talked us through our visit to tianmen mountain, he picked us up from the airport even though our flight was late and picked and dropped us off to the national park the next day. The breakfast was a traditional Chinese breakfast, very simple and nice. Would defo recommend for anyone to stay here!

Posizione vicino parco Tianmen

Words cannot explain the level of kindness and hospitality this family shared with us. Despite our lack of Chinese they were able to help us book tickets and give us directions to all of the sites we wanted to see, it would have been mayhem without their help! They really go above and beyond. We had an incredible time, the room was clean and comfortable and the surrounding neighbourhood was lovely. We ate dinner here several nights too and it was delicious. We definitely want to come back. Thank you Owen, Yan & Jun !!

Great service, the host was very helpful, she helped us to organise our itinerary and got the tickets for us. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Highly recommended.

Tot, locatie perfecta, curata. M-am simtit ca acasa. O familie foarte ospitaliera, calduroasa.

Extremely good location, very friendly and helpful staff too. The bed and shower were both absolutely amazing, the best I’ve stayed in during my asia trip so far!!

The owner was so nice and accommodating. They prepared delicious vegetarian breakfast for us, knowing that we did not eat pork. They also helped carry our luggage to the second floor.

Alloggio curato in tutti i particolari e fornito di tutto. Personale estremamente gentile.Disponibile a dare informazioni su escursioni e transfer. La cucina è casalinga ed è ottima.

Nulla

Staff warmly friendly, helpful and honest.

Nothing.

The Owner Owen was super friendly and helped us with everything. Food as well as driving us around.

This is one of those accommodations for which you truly wish there was a greater rate than 10 to give. The room was big and spacious. The bed is huge and comfortable. But the staff, Owen and his sister are beyond any words to describe their attention, welcoming, kindness, help and above all patience. My niece and I were amazed by the amount of patience with our questions, and the help with our requests. They made our stay exceptional.

Great hospitality from sister Yuan and Yan. They made us feel so at home and spent time meticulously planning our day at the national park to meet our needs. They were so generous both with their time and resources and had an amazing sense of humour. Nothing was too much to ask of them. The room was great, extremely spacious and lovely shower. Fantastic heating system. We would return in a heartbeat!

Tutto perfetto

Perfect Organization and Genuine Hospitality in Zhangjiajie We would like to express our huge gratitude to the hotel hosts for an incredibly comfortable stay! We got picked up from the airport, the hosts took care of all the arrangements: they booked our tours and created a perfect daily itinerary for us, which allowed us to see the maximum number of attractions without any rush. They also helped us with the trip to Tianmen Mountain. Always on Hand: When we had a problem paying for a taxi due to an app issue, they immediately helped us solve it. We always felt supported and encountered nothing but kindness. Cozy Atmosphere: The hotel is run by a very hospitable family who have created a genuinely warm atmosphere. Delicious Food: We highly recommend ordering meals directly at the hotel. The food here is very tasty, just like home cooking. Be sure to try the traditional Chinese breakfast—it's a great way to start the day. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this hotel to those who value not only a cozy room but also a personal approach and help with organizing excursions.

Domaca velmi napomocna so všetkym pomôže poradi a vybavi.

Grandes anfitriones 🤗

The homestay was lovely being away from the centre of town but only 10 minutes away by Didi. Had a lovely atmosphere and to wake up seeing Tianmen mountain from in front off homestay what more can you want

There was nothing to dislike. Definitely recommend for a cosy feel

Molt recomanable

The owners are really kind and helpful. Food were really delicious.

Price is a little bit higher than the other hotels in the area. But it’s still affordable.

Owen and his wife and whole family are really warm hosts. They take care of you and are extremely thoughtful. Owen's sister is also very warm and helpful. All in all felt a bit of home away from home.

So hospitable and a great place to stay! Close to park entry

Super friendly staff, share good advises on our trip

Location

The host was kind and supportive. She picked us up from the airport and provided drop/pick up service for Tianmen Mountain. She also helped us the itinerary and ticket bookings. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Quiet location with amazing views of Tianmen Mountain.

The room was located at a higher floor. Had to carry luggage through stairs. Limited vegan or vegetarian food options.

Great Homestay a bit outside town but easy to reach via didi. Really clean, room even with projection screen. Very nice and helpful owners. He even picked us up at the train station and dropped us at the entrance of tianmen mountain

A very cozy, family-owned stay. Definitely the best property I’ve ever booked on Booking! Zhu Yan and Wang Gang, the owners, meticulously take care of every tiny detail during your stay — from picking you up at the airport, helping with your itinerary, and booking tickets, to making sure you get to your train on time. Zhu Yan even took the time to advise me on the most efficient hiking routes to suit my preferences and schedule, which helped me see a lot in the limited time I had. The place is located in a charming village just minutes away from Tianmen Mountain’s main entrance. It overlooks gorgeous views of the mountains and nearby fields, and you can even see the light show on Heaven’s Gate from the comfort of the bench on their front porch. The property has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, with many friendly faces coming and going for meals or a cup of tea, making it feel lively yet never intrusive. There’s a sense of good energy and serenity throughout. It’s sunny and open, and simply yet tastefully decorated, which adds to how comfortable and pleasant it feels to stay there. The rooms and common areas are kept spotlessly clean, and all the practical amenities you might need are thoughtfully provided — from a hair dryer and bath slippers to toiletries and other small details that make your stay more comfortable. Their son, Wang Zi Yue, greets everyone with the friendliest smile, and Zhao Li Juan cooks the most delicious food, with great respect for any dietary restrictions, and manages meal times to fit your sightseeing schedule. I can’t thank them enough for an amazing stay. Whether you’re a family, a couple, a group of friends, or a solo traveler, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay there. This place also gives you a very authentic Chinese experience, making you feel immersed in the local culture and daily life in the most genuine way.

The room was one of the nicest we have had and for such a good price. The location is very close to Tianmen mountain. But the main benefit is the staff they are so so helpful we were picked up from the airport, cooked dinner, explained the best route to take to the mountain. The next day we were driven straight to the entrance and picked up once done. Also was offered to be dropped off to the bus terminal the next day. Cannot recommend enough, definitely stay here!!!

Amazing place to stay. It feels like if you are staying with friends. Especially Zhu Yan will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The food is excellent and can't be recommanded enough.

Nothing

Owners are SUPER nice and helpful! Their kitchen makes healthy and delicious homegrown veggie and egg dishes. And they have very cute cat named Xiao Bai!

Amazing host , room awas very hight standard and food great. Such hospitality from the owner far exceeded any expectations we had. She helped us with our itinerary and amazing stay thank you

Nothing it was an exceptional experience

Very helpful stuff. Nice big room and good value of money.

Everything was perfect.

My son and I have traveled to many countries and have never been treated so well. The owner picked us up at the train station and took us there, made our tour itinerary, booked and bought our tickets, and organized transportation for the three days we stayed with her. She prepared my breakfast, as I am a vegetarian. It was perfect! The suite was cozy, clean, and had the best towels. It had a kettle and cappuccino maker, a hair dryer, and many other things, in addition to the beautiful view of the mountain. Thank you for everything, with you we learned what it means to be welcoming!

Atmosphere and standard of room. Host and support by staff was amazing!!. Really recommend this place for vacation.

We had a lovely stay at this place. It is located very close to Tianmen Mountain. Hosts were very helpful, they pick us up from airport and drop and pick us up to cable car. Breakfast was great as well!

Amazing hotel with incredible views over Tianmen Mountain in a lovely, traditional and quiet area. The breakfast was a mix of western and traditional Chinese breakfast which was both very tasty. They also cooked a nice dinner for us every evening. The owners are really lovely, picked us up from the airport, drove us to Tianmen Mountain and even to a supermarket. They also helped us organise our days and tickets to Tianmen mountain and the national park once we had arrived which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed to the homestay. The bonus was the recommendations for places to eat. It felt very local.

Nil

One of the best b&b Ive ever stayed at! Perfect location for the 999 stairs, a one-day hike on the mountain. The area is very quiet and upscale. The hosts are wonderful.❤️❤️❤️

Breakfast is OK (not expecting too much). Location is great as it is near to both the airport and the Tianmen mountain.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The host, Yian and Quen are very helpful. They told us a lot about their plan and the Tianmenshan county. Yian also took us to the train station for free. The breakfast is yummy. The location is very close to the mountain entry. We can even see the Tianmen hole from our accomodation.

Nothing much

Thank you to the wonderful owner who took care of me every step of the way! She helped me to make my day trips, picked me up from the train station, even gave their smartphone for a few days to use! Would highly recommend!

Clean, modern facilities and a decently sized room for two in a boutique, family-run stay. You're in a very quiet, peaceful area, a little out of town, which we liked. We loved the projector in the room and the fruit and tea they gave us. Friendly staff provided clear recommendations for exploring Tianmen Mountain. They offered pickup & drop-off services to and from the B Route station (recommend this line rather than A), raincoats for us as it was bad weather and even early morning drop-off to Zhangjiajie West railway to continue our trip. Gave us a thoughtful mix of western and eastern breakfast options, and the meals offered were delicious and decent value. They even brought our dinner into our room on request. I felt the care the family puts into their hospitality and highly recommend this for those looking to explore Tianmenshan.

The location (in a small village with mostly other small hotels) doesn't offer any independent restaurant options so if you don't want to take a 15-20min Didi ride into town, you're limited to the meals offered by the homestay. However, this was not an issue for us at all.

We were made to feel very welcome. All of our excursions were planned for us, the food was delicious and the room was clean with a comfy bed and modern features. You can see Tianmen mountain from the room. The staff looked after us. Our first trip to Zhangjiajie was a wonderful experience made better by the Flower Whisperer Homestay. We will definitely go back.

The location was very beautiful and quiet, need a car to get to and from town. The host was exceptional, gave us lifts to and from the cable car, and to the train station, breakfast was provided, far more than we needed. Room very spacious and clean. Highly recommended A++++

Nothing

They have a very exclusive customer service. They provide to and fro ferry service to the hotel and provide us a very good video explanation when we wanted to visit the tian meng san and give us good advice on the route to walk. The boss and lady boss are so friendly. Will recommend to my relative or friends if they visit that area.

NIL.

I liked the room and the location. The owners were so nice to pick me up from the station. They explained everything and helped arranging a lift to Tianmen Mt entry gates. After the whole day of hiking they also were so kind and picked me up. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom section was very modern and nice. It is located on a small street so it is very quiet thanks to which I slept very well. They were flexible with breakfast and arranged a vegetarian one (on my earlier request). I really enjoyed my stay there and I do recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some time in near proximity of wonderful Tianmen Mt.

If anyone is looking to visit Tianmen Mountain, this place is ideally located. You see the natural arch right infront odbthe honestay. The brand new homestay is hosted by Family Wang who's very kind and generous. Mr. Wang can communicate in English and offer his advice to visit the mountain. They offer pick up and drop off to and fro to the airport, railway station and even to the mountain tourist office, which is only 5 mins from the homestay. We rented a family room which was modern and had enough space for a family of 4. The kids like the place very much. The room had a fabulous toilet and bathroom, which is really modern and spacious. The toiletries, bedding and towels had excellent standards. We had coffee and tea in the room, which was refikked by the hosts on our request. My son had a great time , even enjoyed basketball with Mr. Wang's son who speaks excellent English. We really enjoyed the home-cooked dinner, the best on our stay in Zhangjiajie. The breakfast offered in the morning was great. Overall, it is an excellent location, great hospitality, and a comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price. We highly recommend this place to any guest who wants to visit Tianmen mountains.
