Fijne, gezellige en ruime kamer. Inrichting wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon en netjes. Goed verzorgd ontbijt en vriendelijke host! Locatie was ook top met voldoende eetgelegenheden op loopafstand.

The breakfast was delicious. Fresh strawberries and blueberries with yogurt and muesli one morning, then crispy bacon and toast with plunger coffee the next. There was a lounge guests could relax in that looked out across the Loch. The room we were in was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom.

Felt like home. The guest house was spotless everything looked fresh and new. The bedroom and bathroom were so big and we had plenty of space for our things. Her breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices and lots of extras. We were provided water every day as well along with tea and coffee in the room. We walked into town in 10 minutes.

The only challenge was the bathroom sink with separate hot and cold spigots.

Buccleuch Guest House is a very pleasant guest house outside Fort William, within a short walking distance from the town center. It has a lovely view of Loch Eil. The room was very spacious and well equipped, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. Breakfast was rich and tasty.

Check-in was not optimal. I waited outside for a few minutes and started to worry. I was looking for my phone in order to contact the owner when I was finally admitted. After that, everything was welcoming.

it was very convenient for us to get to and we had good time, and very comfortable stay.

The shower head could do with some improvement

Unser Zimmer war geräumig und mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, mit frischen Früchten und frisch zubereiteten warmen Speisen. Das Haus liegt 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum von Fort William entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind über Whatsapp gut erreichbar.

Der aufgerufene Preis erscheint etwas hoch.

The hostess Lorna was a delight and the cooked breakfasts each morning were delicious. The rooms were quiet. The guest house is an easy 5-10 minute walk to shops and dining options.

We had a wonderful stay at Buccleuch Guest House. The location was perfect for exploring Fort William and the surrounding Highlands, and it was such a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Breakfast was excellent, and the lovely caretaker made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. It was a perfect base for our time in the area, and we would happily stay here again.

Absolutely superb host lady and the atmosphere was delightful.

Just slightly out of town but that is hardly a criticism.

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a lovely dining area. Room was above standard and far exceeded expectations. Location was easy to find with a wonderful view of the sea loch and convenient for town and commuting.

Eigentlich alles!! Vom wunderschönen Zimmer über ein super Frühstück bis hin zur sehr zentralen Lage war es perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das außergewöhnliche Engagement und die Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals!!!

The smell and how friendly the owners are and the shower had good water pressure which is why my review is 4 not lower.

Worst beds i have ever slept on my back still hurts slept for 4 hours and I’m a big sleeper. Also shower drain will get stuck and the water won’t move, and the basin is the worst its just for display we didn’t use it so bad, FINALLY NO BIDET AND THEY MENTIONED THAT THERE ARE ONE WHEN YOU BOOK

Location and comfortable, clean room

Breakfast was limited and we had to order the night before. We thought this place was expensive for what it was although everywhere in Fort William seems to be expensive!

The house and our room were absolutely spotless and you could feel that the owners put a lot of effort and love into making their guests feel welcome. We felt right at home from the very start. The breakfast was also amazing!

What a lovely home! Walkable to the high street and easy to get to via car and right on the Loch. Hosts were lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

The floors are a bit uneven (as is expected w/an older home) so you have to watch your step a bit.

Everything! Lorna was so welcoming and her husband behind the scene provided excellent breakfasts.

Absolutely gorgeous we had a lake view room. It was stunning . The breakfast was also amazing that’s an egg sausages with a full English breakfast with a Scottish feel. The owners were so friendly I’d have to say it’s one of the best stays that we’ve ever had.
