The hotel is not so close to the center,but it is worth staying there because the room was lovely... it was well kept and has a lot of small details. When we arrived the staff made us fill a form to choose our breakfast for the next morning.Breakfast was in a lovely room with a beautiful view of Lake Gregory,and the food was delicious...very good quality. A great standard for Sri Lanka.

The road to get there is steep and narrow,it is ok if you have a tuk tuk or a small car.We had no problems.

They didn’t have AC, so at night it was little hot at night and if you open the window it’s too noisy. Also hot water turned off couple times while we were in shower and it wasn’t fun. Other than that all was great

Een mooi luxe modern ingericht hotel. Super mooie kamer met heerlijk bed en fijne zit stoelen. Ook een mooi uitzicht op het meer. Goede restaurant ruimte met lekker diner eten en ontbijt. Mooi uitzicht op het meer en de Bergen en ze draaiden fijne relaxte muziek daar. Zeer vriendelijk en service gericht personeel. Naast de hotelkamer hadden we ook een zit ruimte met een mooie bank en heerlijke stoelen. Was een fijn relaxt verblijf in dit hotel en super schoon.

The facilities were very good. Comfortable, spacious room, bathroom/shower etc efficient. Staff were helpful (but see note below). Breakfast good.

Difficulties in communication. Very little English spoken. Hotel is out of the main area and is approached by a twisting, rutted road. Our driver/guides car had difficulty reaching the entrance and even a tuk tuk driver baulked at the final part.

We had a lovely stay here, the rooms and the hotel is very clean. Special thanks to Ruvini for taking care of us.

The bed was comfortable, the room very clean and the decor and bedroom furniture exceptional. The view of the lake and surrounding area from the bedroom and balcony was breathtaking! I was surprised but pleased to also have a fully functional kitchen although I only used the kettle! There was a good choice of items for breakfast which was very good. The staff (Ruvina and Mahinda) were also very friendly, helpful and definitely helped make my stay memorable. I will definitely stay at the hotel again!

There should have been a safe in the room! With a fully functional kitchen perhaps consider for the future providing crockery, cutlery etc?

Ein sehr netter junger Mann hat sich super um uns gekümmert. Unsere Wäsche wurde umsonst gewaschen und er war äußerst aufmerksam! Die Betten waren sehr bequem!

L'hôtel est propre et a une vue imprenable sur le lac ! Nous avons eu mauvais temps avec du brouillard + pluie donc nous n'en avons pas profité pleinement mais avec du beau temps, cela doit être magnifique.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel et il a fait mauvais temps : température assez basse, pluie donc humidité. L'hôtel est plutôt mal isolé et il faisait EXTREMEMENT froid et humide dans la chambre. Nous avons demandé s'il y avait un chauffage mais l'hôtel n'en est pas équipé. Nous avons donc demandé une seconde couette pour le lit et ils nous ont fourni un tout petit soufflant électrique. Mais nous ne pouvions pas le laisser allumé la nuit, donc nous avons un peu réchauffé la pièce puis l'avons éteint. Pour le prix de la nuit et au vue de la météo habituelle à NuwaraEliya, à savoir très souvent pluvieuse, froide et humide, il est regrettable que l'hôtel ne soit pas équipé de chauffage.. Nous avons eu froid et tout était humide, donc pas agréable... Le petit déjeuner est correct mais pas fantastique.

The staff is extremely warm and accommodating. Wifi was working well. Has great views of the Gregory lake and the surroundings. Breakfast is simple and served well.

The family room was a bit smaller than anticipated, which can get a bit difficult to move around with luggage etc. The entrance to the hotel is uphill so, sometimes the drop might be a bit difficult on the back side.

Cozy room and amazing views!

Amazing view of the lake from our balcony. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Lovely, fresh breakfast and a modern room with great shower. About a half hour walk along the lake into the town and you can walk round a tea plantation at the back of the hotel.

Kellemetlen, erős illat volt a szobában, hiába szellőztettünk. A személyzet alig beszélt angolul, bármit kértünk, nagyon nehezen értették meg. Megkérdezték mit kérünk reggelire, beikszeltük egy papíron, de nem azt kaptuk és nem is akkor, amikor kértük.

The property itself is nicely maintained, very nice interior. We were the only guest at that time so we enjoyed to the fullest. The hotel is on a hilltop with the Gregory lake view and has separate floor as dining hall. They don’t serve any other meal other than breakfast. The facilities of the room were all in good condition.

The driveway to the hotel is not in a good condition for bigger vans to reach but nothing that property can do. Nothing other negative to mention.

Humedades y fuerte olor a moho en las habitaciones y el hotel en general. Una de las habitaciones olía a tabaco. El estado del edificio está deteriorado y la relación calidad precio no fue buena. La calidad del desayuno tampoco fue buena.

Aussicht war wunderschön, wir hatten als Familie 2 Zimmer mit einem Aufenthaltsbereich in der Mitte. Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns das Abendessen im Hotel und ein Taxi für die Weiterfahrt organisiert.

Das WLAN hat leider nicht funktioniert, hat uns für eine Nacht aber nicht gestört. Das Frühstück ist etwas ausbaufähig. Die Straße zum Hotel ist sehr steil.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Wir hatten die beiden Zimmer unter dem Dach bekommen. Diese sind super gemütlich eingerichtet und zwischen den Zimmern befindet sich eine Art Wohnzimmer welches man Abend noch super gemeinsam nutzen kann mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Gregory Lake. Das Personal ist stets bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen und einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten. Beispielsweise fragten wir nach Adaptern für die Steckdosen und diese wurden uns sofort gebracht. Die Besitzer freuten sich scheinbar sehr das mal jemand länger als eine Nacht geblieben ist und unserer Meinung nach ist es fast schon zu Schade hier nur für eine Nacht zu bleiben, da die Stadt abseits des tollen Hotels auch viel zu bieten hat und man sehr schöne Wanderungen unternehmen kann.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Baron Luxury Boutique. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. A special mention goes to Dinali at reception, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast was warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One of the highlights was enjoying the beautiful lake view at sunset, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, my stay was amazing, and I would highly recommend Baron Luxury Boutique to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Der Service ist hervorragend! Das Personal hilft sofort, wenn man etwas braucht. Uns wurden sogar die Kosten für die Wäsche erlassen, nur weil wir auf das Frühstück verzichtet hatten - ein wirklich sehr guter Service.

We stayed for 1 night Liked: decent location, fantastic view, beds were comfortable, bathroom clean. Room include fridge. Staff were very nice,attentive at checkin and breakfast which was very inviting. Could be better: breakfast is a good effort but quality of the English pieces could be better if available. I would advise that they just simplify and focus Sri Lankan and simpler continental, or a multi ingredient omelette/ egg plus mixed fried. Effort and service is there. Could be better: room carpet had seen better days.

The hotel is brilliant with a stunning view of gregory lake which is at a walking distance. Make sure to book the "Ambrose" or "Lavish" room for the best view . Samuel, lahiru and Raja helped us throughout our stay with all the requests.

There is nothing special for that Price. I didn't like that promoting the restaurant and is Nothing there, we needed to pre-order in advance ( when you have no idea what we want to eat & went), the Breakfast choosing in advance and time for service is horrible because is prepared in advance and serve cold, there is no Vibe is like abandoned house, the staff are nice, kind and helpful but they ask everything in advance which make the stay uncomfortable, we are tourists which can eat, drink anywhere at any time but filling a form of what to eat the day before is no nice! location is in a hill, it has nice view but if you are not a person which walk a lot I wouldn't recommend it. is a really inclined hill. I didn't like when eating staff standing watching us until finish! you can get better for better price. there is no too much places where to eat a part of Indian style, restaurant at the property should improve

The room was tiny, there was the smell from the bathroom, the internet connection was poor, the electrical voltage in the adapter was dangerous. For those who travelled in Asia the price for the room may seem exaggerated.

Great view over looking the lake and staff is too good and supportive. For the budget price, the hotel is a great choice. May a little up hill, but that add to the view. Near from the lake, view points and good resturants around.

Modern design with big glass windows and balconies to take in the views over Lake Gregory and out to the mountains. Staff are friendly, efficient and make a guest feel very welcome.

Better signage for drop off and pick up needed as it confuses the drivers. The young manager was attentive, charming and very knowledgeable about Nuwara Eliya. Perhaps too attentive at times. Not everyone enjoys prolonged conversations at every single dining session.

The location was perfect, by walk you can reach the lake and have a nice walk towards the center of the town. Room very clean and with a wonderful view of the lake.

Amazing view of the lake and mountains from the window. The breakfast was included and tasted good. Staff were friendly and accommodating, just need to gain a bit more confidence. We were able to park our car in the garage, however there wasn’t much space and it’s steep. We had a good time and think this was one of the better hotels in the area.

There was a bad smell in our bathroom coming from the plumbing or ventilation. This should get fixed to justify the price of a luxury boutique. At breakfast we were given a teabag with bugs inside the packaging, but they offered to replace it. There also was a hair in our food, which can happen, but together with the teabag felt a little unhygienic. Overall we had the feeling that this place was clean though.

A lovely hotel that i would gladly stay in again. The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel has a stunning view over Gregory Lake! What makes this hotel is how friendly the staff are. They greeted us with a warm welcome every day and even gave us a free beer. The only suggestions to make this a top hotel would be more staff, as there seemed to be 2 of them doing everything. I would also suggest a buffet style breakfast and closing the door to make it safer, possibly giving guests a key.

It was incredibly clean. The staff were friendly and very professional. They were clearly trying hard to make it a high end experience. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to have a relaxing sofa space outside the room. The views of the lake were good. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very good.

The location wasn't ideal. The immediate area looks run down. The electricity was very flaky. It kept cutting out. The WiFi wasn't good and kept cutting out so we couldn't connect the TVs or our phones. The windows weren't fitted well so the wind came whistling into the rooms. The hot water was intermittent. Given these issues, we felt the accommodation was over priced.

The view from the hotel room of the lake was amazing, the room was on the small side and there was no furniture on the balcony which was a shame. Unfortunately there was a problem with the electricity so I had to go to dinner with wet hair. I was the only person eating in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and the staff were hovering all the time which was rather uncomfortable, it was done with the best of intentions but they were trying a little to hard.

Staff was very helpful. Especially Franklin and Raja. Tharushi was also obliging .

There's a slight issue with condensation in the room. Probably due to lack of designed ventilation. Some doors have swolen with damp and are hard to shut.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is really friendly. The owners are very attentive and wanted to make sure you are well taken care off. We also recommend their Srilankan dinner.

Location of the stay is very good and lake view in front of the room is the pleasant thing you can ask for when you get up in the morning.The owners helped us a lot with the check-in we reached in the midnight with out reservation and they helped us with the accommodation and even they did not charge us that night. such hospitality is worth visit again.we will definitely re-visit.
