I feel like I couldn't have asked for a better landing spot for my first trip to Sayulita than the Hotel Puerto.  First of all it's literally right next door to the bus station so getting in and out of town couldn't be easier! It's like a 4 minute walk on the main drag to el centro and the beach, so you're conveniently located without being in the middle of the bar noise. The main beds are super cozy and all of your survival needs are only a block or two away... including the oXXo convenience store, a pizza place, pharmacy, the bank, hospital, and more! The twin pull-out bed thingy seemed kind of hard but I only used it to put my stuff on.  The safe was small but functional and secure.  The desk boys are there 24/7 to ensure that no shady characters get in and Jonathan went the extra mile to answer any questions I might have and make sure that I was happy with my room. I absolutely loved the rooftop pool and since it was the slow season I pretty much had it to myself, especially when it was a little rainy. The rooms come with A/C, your own personal wi-fi, a full size fridge, cooktop, and a nice TV.  All in all, one of my favorite mid budget hotels that I've ever stayed in.  I'll be back! 😎

The views from the rooms aren't particularly spectacular and the chickens that live across the river take their job of waking up the neighborhood bright and early VERY seriously, but that really didn't bother me.  Es Mexico!  🇲🇽 The only real bummer for me was that I left a luggage tag in the room and they texted me about it so I said I could come through town to pick it up on Friday and they said that would be great...  but then Friday came around and I went in and there was nobody at the desk so I stood there for 15 minutes in the heat and missed my bus to Punta Mita and then I finally texted the girl and she said "oh oops I have it in my possession in the next town over!"   Why wouldn't she just leave it at the desk if she wasn't going to be there on Friday when she said I could pick it up?

Demasiado ruido por la noche. Perros, gallos, portazos del huésped de al lado. A las 8am empiezan a mover mobiliario de la alberca y parece que fuera en el mismo cuarto.

La alberca, la ubicación, lo amplio de las habitaciones, en general muy cómodo.

El sofá cama es muy duro, podría mejorar un poco haciéndolo más cómodo

Bien situé, à quelques pas du centre. Belle piscine avec amplement d’espace et de chaises. Lits super confortables, chambre très propre. Personnel super attentif. J’y retournerais sans hésiter.

Rien en particulier. Le wifi dans les chambres n’était pas 100% fiable mais ça fonctionnait la majorité du temps.

Very Clean, AC, Hot water and the staff was great! We stayed in room 108 which on the inside of the hotel so we didn’t hear any outside noise. The pool and terrace area was really nice and clean as well. Its a walking distance from the center. We would stay here again!

More of a cautions statement, the ramp to the parking is steep so on the way out you need to watch for people crossing. Other than that no negatives.

La limpieza, el trato recibido y que tuve la posibilidad de hacer check in anticipado.

Que hubo vecinos DEMASIADO molestos y ruidosos, y mucho muy exagerados en su comportamiento y actitud en los pasillos del hotel, al parecer nadie les dijo nada ya que ambos dias fue similar.

Me pareció una buena opción me volvería a hospedar ahí

En mi habitación no había micro hondas pero me comento la de recepción que otras habitaciones si tenían y el cobro por cambiar las toallas de playa

Great rooftop pool, and the room was great with sweet ac. We'll looked after and very clean.

A bit noisy early in the morning with dogs and roosters, but we got used to it.

Loved the roof top pool and the large room with balcony. Very clean and comfy. Perfect walking distance into the centre of Sayulita.

Some building work across the road, but wasnt too bad.

We had thought there was a hotel bar by the pool but it was never open. We did not love the sheet by sheet toilet roll dispenser!

Lovely outdoor deck, very clean rooms, nice staff.

Make sure to get a room facing the garden, as the street is super noisy. There was no hot water for three days and there was no solution or discount offered. Other guests were told that hot water is an extra service. Facing the fact that we were staying eight nights, had already downsized our room (because of the street) without a payback it would have been nice to have been offered a compensation. Kitchen was definitely not fully equipped (no proper knifes, no chopping board, no pots with a lid). There’s space for improvement here, especially in the smaller room.

Roof top pool is a welcome escape and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms with Kitchenette great and beds super comfortable. Near Oxxo so you can get basic food and drink needs met easily. Very responsive to any concerns.

Whe stayed in the double bed room, it was clean, well decorated and comfy. The roof top pool is really nice.

La localisation, à 2 pas du centre mais légèrement à l'écart, la piscine sur le toit magnifique, c'était propre, le personnel à la réception super sympa et souriant, la chambre belle et bien équipée, un Oxxo à proximité

Tout était bien mais peut-être un sèche cheveux ou un peu d'accessoires dans la douche (type crème corps) ça aurait été mieux. Y avait de la place pour ça: un petit étendoir à linge pliable aurait été super, s'il y en avait un.

La alberca, su vista, horario, temperatura y profundidad. La terraza muy cómoda y bonita. Está excelente para pasar un rato durante el día o al atardecer, una botana y disfrutar el sol y la alberca. Las habitaciones están equipadas con lo esencial para cocinar: cubiertos, sartenes, vasos, tasas, platos.

Agreguen una olla o pocito para calentar agua/caldos en la estufa. Estaría bien un comedor pequeño en el interior de la habitación. Utilizamos las sillas del balcón y una mesa plegable que llevábamos.

Very cute, clean, and comfortable

Only negative was the shower drainage in room 209 was not good. Water pooled at feet. Door to shower didn’t close properly. Staff never cleaned toilet or shower once during our week long stay.

Nice quiet room (108), hot water and good pressure in shower, very comfortable bed and bedding, etc. The pool is terrific. Your cleaning staff are excellent. Big shout-out to receptionist ABIGAIL who was very kind to us and went the extra mile!

This was my second time staying at this property and it never disappoints. The rooms are spacious and very clean, great for sharing with a friend. Our room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The wifi is strong and reliable. Our favourite was the infinity pool and roof top lounge area. The staff were amazing and I would definitely stay here again.

Solamente que hubiera estado unos 2 o 3 grados más de temperatura la alberca pero estaba muy limpia

En general todo muy bien, las camas muy cómodas, junto al hospedaje hay un oxxo, farmacia y modelorama, la temperatura de la alberca bastante bien, está bien surtida la cocineta.

Si tuvieran algún servicio de desayuno hubiera estado excelente, la ubicación no está en el centro pero son 10 minutos, realmente lo vale

Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y lindas. La ubicación es ideal: justo al lado de la estación de buses y cerca del mercado de artesanías y de la playa. El staff es increíble: amables, sonrientes, serviciales. Olvidé un wallet y una persona del staff corrió hasta la estación de bus para devolverlo.

La vista de la piscina no fue increíble porque había una construcción en curso justo en frente, pero del otro lado la vista es linda!

Excelente limpieza en todas las instalaciones 👌👌👌 Me encanta la ubicación,te puedes ir caminando todo está súper cerca pero no está en pleno centro así que puedes disfrutar de todo al caminar 3 cuadras y descansar por qué no hay mucho ruido,10 de 10 primera vez ahí y nos encantó además súper bien precio 👌 Sin duda volveremos 😍🤞🙏

El trato del personal en general y las instalaciones limpias y cómodas

Mala experiencia al solicitar un late check out de 1 hora. Nos apagaron el servicio eléctrico de la habitación y todavia nos fueron a tocar. Me sentí corrida y no había pasado una hora adicional de la hora del check out.

Las camas, las almohadas y los edredones son maravillosos. La alberca increíble

El hotel superó mis expectativas. Llegué antes de la hora del check in y me dieron la habitación sin problema. El personal muy amable. El wifi con buena recepción y tienes dos conexiones, una en la habitación y otra para la terraza donde se encuentra la alberca. La habitación muy limpia y amplia con terraza, televisión con roku tv, la cual tiene muchos canales disponibles, asi como puedes configurar tu cuenta de netflix, mini cocina, refrigerador, estufa de inducción, utensilios, y jabón para trastes. El baño muy agradable con cancel de vidrio templado, dentro de este shampoo, acondicionador y gel de ducha corporal. Todo lo necesario para una ducha rica. El estacionamiento debajo del hotel siempre iluminado y con capacidad para 20 vehículos aproximadamente. En la azotea la alberca muy hermosa de buen tamaño con agua templada, camastros, y sillones para descanso. En resumen, 1000% recomendado, ya que por lo visto es un hotel con instalaciones actuales, es decir, se nota que no tiene más de 3 años que lo construyeron.

Haberme quedado más tiempo. No tengo ninguna queja.

Location was great. It's a short walk to downtown and the beach. We liked that the bus station was right next door; perfect for day trips. The rooftop pool was fantastic. Breakfast was not included. We stayed with two toddlers and it was perfectly fine. Liked the kitchenette in the room so we could make some meals.

Pool was quiet, it was easy to walk up at any time and get sunbeds. It was also heated with a step to sit on so you could sit and read in the pool.

Nothing. There was construction across the road which could be noisy at times but that was out of their control.

Great stay! Super clean and comfortable hotel on the main road (literally right beside the bus station). Nice to have a bit of distance from the noise/business of the town (but within a 5-10 min walk). Pool was really nice and pool deck a great place to hang out. Staff were super friendly. Room was thoroughly cleaned every day, common areas very clean, beds very comfortable. Housekeeping always left plenty of towels and supplies.

The only recommendation would be to have a little fridge at the front desk where you could purchase drinks!

It was a very maintained hotel. Super clean. The lounge/pool on roof was wonderful to enjoy a breakfast and swim or a late night swim. Heated.

Unfortunately we were on the main road side. Not a big deal we used white noise for sleeping.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. House cleaning came every day and washed our dishes.

Our room faced the main road which was incredibly loud. Request a room that faces inside and NOT towards the road or bring headphones. There were these great big windows but we had to keep them closed the whole time because they opened to the parking lot and main entrance with a lot of people walking by.

The rooftop pool area was really nice. The rooms were a really nice size with very comfortable beds. The staff was exceptionally. Jonathan and Abagail were so pleasent and helpful with whatever we needed. The hotel is extremely clean.

If road noice bothers you, make sure to book your room at the back of the hotel. They were very accommodating and moved us after the first night .

Was not breakfast,never mentioned.the room was big and nice.

The bad part was , the room was in the side of the street.was to noise, I ask if they can give me another room,they told me was no more rooms available, instead they give me a ear plugs. Works better.

Some friends recommended this place to me, and honestly, it didn’t meet my expectations. While the pool is beautiful and the rooms spacious, there was a lot to be desired.

-The one employee did not make me feel welcome at all. I watched him get mad at a group of girls at check out for putting their bags in the storage (they said the employee the day before told them they could). Then we came to use the common area after checkout while we waited for our bus, and he reprimanded us, told us it wasn’t allowed, and that they didn’t offer late check out (we were already out of the room). I’ve never stayed at a place that doesn’t allow you to use the common areas for a couple hours after check out, and for this price point, it’s even more disappointing. When I asked if I could pay to stay for a few hours, he said no, they didn’t offer late check out (again, we were not using the room or in the room). Thankfully we were able to change our bus to an earlier one. -There was nowhere to sit inside the room, even though in all the photos of the place I saw online it showed little bean bag chairs, they didn’t exist. -The internet did not work for our room (203). -The room was very loud at night as it was right in front of the main road.

Hotel Puerto Sayulita exceeded my expectations. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, even when I needed a pot to cook in or a flatter pillow. I traveled with my two daughters and felt very secure in the facility. We LOVED the heated pool and spent many hours daily there. We would definitely come back!

Sometimes roosters next door could be pretty loud and could hear people talking if sitting right outside our room, but this is not in control of the hotel and think this problem may happen at many hotels

The Hotel Puerto Satulita is an oasis of calm in what can be a really busy and noisy town. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed our private patio in the back of the property and the huge common area in the back has tables, trees and hammocks. The rooftop pool and deck is wonderful. Plenty of comfortable chairs, couches and umbrellas for shade. At the front desk Jonathan was very helpful and offered great suggestions for getting around town and dining. Carlos was at the desk when we were departing. He offered to drive us to our next destination as he was heading that way. This saved us from taking a taxi or bus and we really appreciated that. It was a lovely stay in every way.

Bed is super comfortable.

The front side has street traffic but back side has rooster behind hotel. Ear plugs help a lot. Seems to me everywhere in Sayulita Has some degree of noise (bars,music) The ATVs motorcycles and golf courts go everywhere so you just have to pick

We liked that our room did not face the busy street, it was a nice quiet room. Rooftop pool is excellent.

It was a room for 4 people but there were only chairs for 2 people to sit, as well as lack of cutlery for 4 people.

calm quiet, friendly easy to go out to town

The roof top pool was very nice. It was heated and almost too warm. It could be turned down a few degrees. One of the pool lights was not working and emitted some electrical energy to the water. One of our grandkids got a mild electrical shock from it. We reported it to the front desk and they immediately came and shut of the lights breaker.

The kitchen was very basic with no spices or oils for cooking so bring your own if you come here.
