There was an intermittent drain smell coming from the bathroom which we mentioned to the management. Towels were not changed daily and difficult to dry them overnight

Excellent location.. Comfortable including a fridge, microwave and kettle.. Peaceful.

It was clean and comfortable, but some food was left in the air fryer for a long time, and it was covered with mold.

The young lady at reception was very angry and aggressive, with a very bad attitude for the hospitality business. However, the young gentleman was kind, helpful, and welcoming.

The location was very good and the staff were friendly

Cleanliness was very poor, very dusty, the toilet was extremely stained, the air fryer still had the remains of the last food in it and the shower drain was mostly blocked which led to the water flooding the bathroom for even a quick shower

Close to the city centre, staff were helpful and responsive to questions and requests. Comfortable beds and facilities. Forgot my ring and called the hotel, who assured they had it safe. Reliable staff

I liked everything about the property! At times you can get quite a bit of noise from the road/street but it didn’t really bother me and it would vary depending on what room you were in

Room key access card would not work had to wait 2 hours for someone to come to reception.

Great location. It was a bit noisy at night but to be expected being so close to the city centre.

For the price, I was pleasantly surprised. Even included good parking. Well worth it for a cheap nights stay.

Location in a relatively quite Location that was surprising as it so close to town.

Bed sheets smelt of fat, walls are paper thin, asked reception if she could ring a taxi, she was very polite and tried one taxi company and they was to busy so she gave up, surely more than one number was available, but she was very helpful with directions, the building we was in was unmanned. So when our next door neighbour decided to put there TV at full volume at 3.30am so they could have sex without anyone hearing them there was no members of staff available to sort it out. And for that reason I wouldn't stay again.

Great price. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. The bed was creaky so the neighbours could likely hear what we were up to.

The accommodation was well situated near town and has parking (although this was charged). Staff were very helpful check in and out was seamless and easy. There was also a mini fridge and bowls/glasses etc which made it easy to keep food if needed. A small shower gel and bar soap were provided.

The accommodation wasn’t the cleanest it could be but was at a decent standard and served the purpose for a nights stay.

Property was easy walking distance from the centre and yet ideally placed for us walk to Earlham park for a gig

That after spending two nights in a poorly cleaned, incredibly warm annex ground floor motel room only accessible from the car park with one other guest smoking outside the window wearing nothing but shorts and another neighbour guest keeping his door wide open with his TV blaring, that the staff were able to find me a room inside the actual hotel that actually facilitated sleep.

Thin, thin walls in the annex motel-like room that meant I heard every single sleep-depriving word of the conversation of the neighbour until the very early hours. That the first room I stayed in had a visibly dirty floor in both the room and bathroom.. That it didn't feel safe returning late with the neighbour's door open. That when the smoker stood right outside my window to smoke I felt like I needed to close the blinds as he was staring right into the room. That there was a dripping wet towel in the bathroom when I arrived.

The room was smelly even though there was an air wick plug in air freshener in the room. The smell was a combination of old socks and damp from the bathroom. Location was fabulous. The staff were nice and friendly and helpful. No bar or lounge or food but a fridge freezer sink etc were in the room.

It's close to the center and you can park the car the entire day after your check-out

It wasn't clean (towels with hairs, other people drinks in the fridge, spiders...) and you can hear everything (other rooms, showers, cars in the parking, etc

The fridge was helpful in that we could chill our water and the flannels we brought with us.

Unfortunately it was the hottest day of the year 38C and there was no air conditioning and we were not able to open both the windows. There was a fan but it was not enough for the circumstances. The blinds were not working properly and had not been closed during the day to keep the sun out.

The place is basic and well located but it was not clean, the remote to the TV was so disgustingly dirty I had to use a tissue to hold it. The shower installation was really dirty also, the shower head needed cleaning and the shower itself was encrusted with dirt. If they paid a little more attention to the cleaning it wouldve been good value for money. Unfortunately these things really made me uncomfortable. There is no where to store luggage if you have a late flight

Booked family room, was Hugh. Large kitchen island, basic cooking facilities. Very comfortable beds.

Location, staff great and helpful. Kettle, microwave and fridge all brilliant. Window opens quite high unlike other hotels. Bed comfy, fan if needed in room

Rather untidy cupboard under sink looked like cleaner in rush and no thought to presentation. Found dirty, dried up material stuck on shelf under bathroom sink, rather smelly.

No staff on duty after 11pm.. Drunk / very noisy room occupants coming back at 2am, 4am & 5am which could have been sorted if staff were on site.

Perfect location for a couple of days in Norwich. The staff were very helpful and kindly changed one of our party's room to a ground floor room with easier access. Great to have a fan for the hot nights.

Noisy fridge, ground floor (room 3) on the roadside and noisy with traffic and people talking loudly outside until 3:30am - appreciate this is nothing to do with Nysdill. Shower temperature didnt turn down - seems the dial had ceased. Room needs a good clean - bathroom had cobwebs from a good few months We’ve stayed here many times and generally you get what you pay for, but we paid over £100 for 1 night this stay, and it was not worth it, so slightly disappointed and looking elsewhere for our next visit.

Plenty of free parking, staff very efficient and room was spotlessly clean, large room with good facilities.

Just a pity they won't sort out the cleaning. They have been told several times thats as a hotel this level of cleaning is unacceptable , I mean its not filthy but still uou don't expect the floors and skirting boards to be dirty. Sorry but its just laziness or someone needs glasses

Location, and the size and layout of the room.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and am not fussy however the smell of this room hit me as I walked in! I stayed 3 nights, left windows open during the day. There was no source as such for the smell. I think it is either something happening under the floor or the floor itself. There was also a couple of bugs on the bed after googling they didnt look to be bed bugs but was quite unsettling. I was woken up the second night by the sound of a rat (i think) trying to eat through the wall. Which was terrifying! Shame I cant add a video to this review as it was awful. Also, 1 cheap toilet roll was given for the 3 nights, which is not realistic as they are tiny! I tried looking for other options on the first night, but the whole of Norwich was booked up due to graduations. I am sitting in the room currently and cant wait to go home and wash everything. There is also a big green emergency exit light which is like the sun shining in your room all night. Really disappointing as this could be a wonderful hotel with the location.

I enjoyed my stay the staff are very friendly and helpful the room was a good size for one person and has a little kitchenette with tea/coffee white sugar sachets and UHT milk. The bed was comfortable but could of done with just a sheet and no duvet as it is summer but I slept without a cover as the room was too hot and the sun was shining on the room most of the day until around 7pm and a fan didn't help and the fridge added to the heat in the room. Although the temperature is out of the hotels control so I put up with it and made sure to drink plenty of water while in the room but overall it was a good stay and will return.

Temperature of room but nothing can be done about that and air con would mean to put the prices up of the rooms and this is a budget hotel.

It was impossible to sleep because the fridge was very noisy, and the bright green emergency light stayed on all night, making it difficult to rest. The room had no ventilation or fan, so there was no fresh air, and it became uncomfortably hot.

The rooms next to parking are not so well insulated so fingers crossed your neighbours are respectful.

This was our third stay at this property. We like the informal atmosphere. The location is great and encourages us to stroll through the city. The car park seems safe and secure.

The toilet could have been cleaner...but that is being hyperfastidious, really.

It was massive the rooms were so big

Was to far away had to get a cab but that’s our fault, when we got to bed the sheets were wet they had not been dried correctly so we had 3 beds where we had to sleep with damp sheets and didn’t smell great, the bath and the sink had sewage coming out when the water had gone

Loved the location - next to the Tourist little Gem, the <Plantation gardens> and handy for NNUH Hospital, City; the area had great village feel inside a big City, 26 bus stops right outside to Railway or NNUH Hospital + UNI. Liked the MOTEL theme, staff nice and great kitchen facilities in my room.

The TV worked but very poor antenna reception, unsure of cause but on Terrestrial Channels, fragmented the picture and sound. The Car Park right outside my Ground floor room but not disturbed with any noise. Large window had no nets so had to keep the curtains drawn, LOL. They may have rooms that are more hidden. No brekki but good options 5 min walk.

In a lovely location next to the plantation gardens and close to city centre. Our room was huge. The bathroom was big. Room had an airfryer and microwave and a very large table. We was allowed to park even after vacating our room up until 11pm that night
