We loved everything - our beautiful and very clean room, the perfect central location, the friendly contact and the delicious (surprise) breakfast. Highly recommend to everyone.

Borgo is like a home from home. Four rooms means you get that family feel and Carlotta is a wonderful lady, with impeccable taste and someone who wants her guests to have a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, decorated with a perfect mix of traditional Italian, modern chic. Carlotta has thought of everything from the look, style, feel and smell. We felt well looked after and would 1000% come back again. Nothing was more than a 20 minute walk - everything where you need and yet still on one of the quietest streets. Sitting out on the balcony having our breakfast was a lovely highlight. Thank you Carlotta - we miss Borgo already :-)

The room was spacious, clean and the location was excellent. What made it really special was the host, breakfast was prepared fresh each morning and we were able to help ourselves to coffee, bottled water and wine/prosecco.

Great stay at Borgo Signature Rooms! The apartment in which the rooms are located is beautiful and well decorated with quality fabrics and materials. Bettina was very responding and welcoming and prepared a lovely breakfast for us.

The room was furnished very nicely.Breakfast was quaint and staff were very responsive and helpful. Unlimited natural chilled water.

The A/C in our room did not work well. It is situated on the second floor of an apartment building. That may be a thing however it was new to me. A skeleton key is used to open and close your door. Doesn’t feel secure. Lastly, no staff on the property after checkin.

Very cleqn and big room

There is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs which is difficult for elderly people with heavy luggage. It is not a hotel, it is a house with 4 bedrooms and they have a total of 4 breakfast items.

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt, und überraschenderweise gab es sogar jeden Tag selbst gemachtes Frühstück. Es ist wirklich ein toller Ort, um in Florenz zu übernachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

It was a central location where you could reach all attractions easily and the host was so kind and helpful with recommendations on local experiences. The room was stunning with an absolutely comfortable bed and it was quiet. You could feel the care, love and quality they put into running their boutique apartments.

Even though we stayed only one night we had the best time ! It felt very homly and we loved the design. Carlotta has been in touch from the very start and helped us with the parking, last minute reservation at a restaurant and welcomed us with amazing prosseco and strawberries !

Very central location and the rooms were large and comfortable. For the first time in Florence I would recommend. Carlotta was a wonderful host would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay! Carlotta the owner was amazing, small place, almost like home, great breakfast, excellent location! A very small minus if you are picky is that you could very easily hear rhe neighbours! But you can’t have it all! I really really recommend the Borgo over all! We were so well taken care of! Almost like coming home to your family ❤️

We had the most beautiful stay in the center of Florence. The rooms are quiet, very clean and tastefully decorated. Carlotta is an amazing host, thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality! Highly recommend staying here :-)

Fab location, quiet but central to everything you’d like to see in Florence. Carlotta manages the house/rooms and is simply the best. She is a gem and goes above and beyond to make your trip comfy and welcoming.

Es ist an alles gedacht, das Frühstück war überaus lecker, unser Aufenthalt war rundum komfortabel. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Carlotta: Sie ist herzlich und äußerst zuvorkommend. Ihre Gastfreundschaft hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

I have no complaints

Carlotta is an amazing host and went out of her way to give me information on city events happening during my stay. She also prepared a delicious breakfast each morning! The Borgo lets guests access bottles of cold water, coffee, tea and fruit anytime. I thought that was a very classy touch. Its located at the heart of downtown so perfect to walk to practically anywhere you'd want to.

I had the most horrible experience at this location in Florence! I made the reservation an hour before arriving at their place! When I entered and saw the conditions and the smell of the rooms because I had booked two, I changed my mind and did not want to sleep at their place! Obviously it is my right to ask for my money back because the accommodation is not what it looks like in the pictures and is not worth that much money! Every person has the right to decide where they want to sleep with their own money! The lady at the hotel was very agitated and unhappy that we did not want the accommodation! Desperate for money, she did not return a single penny (420€)! I recommend that you be careful where you book and how much money you pay! they are just waiting for some tired tourists to take their money for nothing. Booking should not promote anyone who rents their house without analyzing the conditions and price. I thought that booking means quality not quantity

We loved staying at this location and would gladly stay here again. The host was exceptional and very helpful! We felt like we were being welcomed into Carlotta's home because she was so friendly. The breakfast and cappuccinos were delicious! The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. This is in a great location and within walking distance to so many things. I highly recommend staying here!

Italian train strike!

Carlotta ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Wir haben sofort ein sehr nettes Verhältnis gehabt. Sie bereitet morgens ein kleines Frühstück mit Obstsalat und herrlichen Croissants und Cappuccino. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, so auch die Betten und die Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer erfüllen jeden Komfort. Das Parkhaus um die Ecke ist tatsächlich nur wenige Schritte entfernt, man sollte sich anmelden. Es wird persönlich bewacht, man lässt den Schlüssel dort, da der Garagist die Autos umparken muss. Wir haben sogar etwas Gepäck im Auto gelassen, da es uns vollkommen sicher erschien. Die Kosten sind sehr angemessen mit 35€/Tag. die Adresse für das Parkhaus gibt einem Carlotta. Es führt eine sehr lange und steile Treppe zum 1. OG, wo sich Carlotta's B&B befindet. Daher ist leichtes Gepäck zu empfehlen und genügend Man-power. Wir waren länger in Italien unterwegs und hatten daher auch einen schweren Koffer. Carlotta war so nett und hat beim Gepäck geholfen, aber beim nächsten Mal organisieren wir das Gepäck alleine für diese Treppe besser.

This is the perfect hotel if you like small, cosy places rather than large group hotels. Ideally located in a quiet side street, the rooms are beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. Carlotta was so hospitable, she made us a delicious breakfast and was happy for us to arrive early and leave our cases on our last day before we left in the afternoon. We will definitely be going back.

De accomodatie was heel goed en heerlijk geslapen. Carlotta als perfecte gastvrouw die er alles aan doet om het de gasten zo blij mogelijk te maken. Heerlijk ontbijt, aangepast op eigen voorkeur, en water, koffie, thee onbeperkt. Badkamer vol met die kleine details. De hygiëne, het was allemaal top! Hier ga je heen als je verwend wilt voelen

Les chambres sont somptueuses, très spacieuses et confortables, magnifiquement décorées et les salles de douche sont parfaites. Carlotta veille également à notre santé en nous servant un délicieux petit déjeuner équilibré et copieux. Jusqu’à l’emplacement qui est parfait, central et près de tout. We enjoyed our short stay at Borgo Rooms so so much. The room was beautiful, we stayed in the Ambre room - one of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in!! The bed linens were superb. Room also smelt amazing, all the reed diffusers and toiletries are from the perfumery opposite the guesthouse. Carlotta was an outstanding host - so friendly and welcoming! Answered any questions we had. The breakfast prepared for you by Carlotta is such a lovely touch and well appreciated. She also brought us an aperitif when we arrived which was well received! There is a communal kitchen which has a fridge with bottled water and wine alongside teas and coffee which you can use as part of your stay. There are only 4 rooms in the guesthouse and as a result was beautifully quiet. Location is superb - just around the corner from the Santa Croce cathedral and square. Good walking distance to many other spots. Quiet enough location to enjoy some peace from the busy streets of Florence.

Not a negative to Borgo rooms, but If you stay in the street facing apartments you can hear activity on the street. If you’re a light sleeper like me, nothing that earplugs won’t fix.

The location is unbeatable. The street it's on is beautiful and quiet, yet you are steps away from everything you want to see. The staff, particularly Carlotta, are so warm and fun. I really felt like a friend! We had the Frescura room and it was so spacious and charming.

The bed was a little firm for my personal taste. I slept phenomenally well and awoke without aches or pains, so I am really not complaining; obviously it's what my body needed, even if it wasn't my preference. If you like a firm bed, you will absolutely love this stay. Even if you don't, you will get over it, sleep great, and wake refreshed!

Stunning rooms, lovely staff and great location in a quiet street in the city center. Really clean and it smelled lovely. Comfortable big bed. Would recommend and would book again. T2 from the airport to the city takes around 20-30 minutes, costs €1.70 and you can pay contactless on the tram (don’t queue for a ticket) and from there it‘s a 20 minute walk to the hotel (very crowded). Worth the walk but if you travel with a lot of luggage, best to take a taxi or a bus

The breakfast offered was superb and prepared when requested. Our hosts and the accommodation gave a homely feel which was welcoming.

On our last night we could hear the residents who lived above our room, but this was mixed in with the street noise. However we were in the centre of town and we feel this was to be expected.

Ringraziamo per l'upgrade gratuito in camera matrimoniale con balcone. Al mattino abbiamo potuto fare colazione all'esterno e siamo stati benissimo, un bel plus. Personale gentilissimo dal check-in anticipato al consigli sui ristoranti, alla possibilità di avere il deposito bagagli. La cucina in uso comune alle stanze è stata molto apprezzata sia per quel caffè o frutto complimentary sia per l'uso del frigo.

Abbiamo sfortunatamente trovato il letto molto scomodo. È morbido e non siamo proprio abituati, lo segnalo per chi preferisse materassi rigidi.

Un emplacement ideal nous pouvions tout faire à pieds. L'appartement est hyper propre et confortable. Une cuisine commune avec de l'eau du champagne et de quoi faire son petit-déjeuner. Carlotta est très agréable et très efficace. Le soir il peut y avoir du bruit mais c'est un quartier animé et les italiens vivent le soir souvent tard c'est naturel. Un appartement vraiment ou on peut aller les yeux fermés. Super

In a word - perfect. Our host was the best host I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Travelled with my sister and by the time we left we felt like we were visiting our Italian sister. The neighbourhood was central (short stroll to all of Florence's must-sees) but incredibly quiet. The decor was inviting and the beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to return!

This was one of the most exceptional stays anywhere, and it felt like being at home! Carlotta gave a personal welcome tour and introduction, was happy to prepare a small snack or drink, and give local advice. She comes reach day to prepare a fresh breakfast with fruit salad and a filled croissant, but with advance notice can prepare a toastie for early starts. You can help yourself to tea, coffee, and wine. The apartment has 4 private rooms, is very quiet, beautifully decorated, spacious, cosy, and has a super comfortable bed with crisp linen. There are scents and toiletries from the affiliated home fragrance shop nearby. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when I return to Florence!

I loved everything. It may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility as there is a very large step up into the bathroom. (Though there is a stair-chair from the street entrance for infirm people.)

A hidden gem in the heart of Florence. So easy to get there and park nearby - lovely welcome by the staff too. Highly recommend, the rooms are all extremely well done!
