Breakfast at Tiffanys

Peggy is a warm and welcoming host. Our flight got canceled late in the evening, so we booked the night here very spontaneously. We were welcomed immediately and shown to our room. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were shared, very clean and close to the room. We would definitely recommend staying here when coming to Queenstown.

This was by far the most comfortable place we stayed during our trip to New Zealand. The house is beautifully designed, and our room was spacious, with a sofa, a comfortable lounge chair, and even a lovely lake view. We spent three wonderful nights here and truly enjoyed every moment. The host is a kind and welcoming woman, and we feel very lucky to have stayed at her home during our time in Queenstown. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

The only minor downside is that it’s a little outside the town center, so you’ll need to drive up and down the hill to get into town. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Peggy is the kindest host. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Not in town, but close enough to enjoy it, and a short walk to a fabulous restaurant.

I had a lovely stay at Peggy's. Super grateful that she was able to accommodate us at the last minute as our flight from Queenstown was cancelled and we had to stay an additional night. Clean room, as photographed and very cosy. Thanks

Peggy ist eine herzensgute Gastgeberin, die man einfach nur gern haben kann ;) Es waren sehr schöne Abende. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, stylisch eingerichtet und von dem Ausblick brauche ich erst gar nicht anfangen. Tolles Bett inkl. eigenes Bad und Kühlschrank. Hatte das Glück in der oberen Etage schlafen zu können. Die anderen Zimmer sind bestimmt genauso schön.

A thoroughly positive overnight experience! We booked at the last minute and arrived late, but we received a very warm welcome and felt at home from the very first second. A beautiful room, a comfortable bed and lots of little details that show how much the hostess cares about her guests' well-being. Thank you!

Felt very much like staying in another persons house. Which is fine. That’s just not my thing.

This was the best place we stayed during our trip through New Zealand so far. The room has a wonderful view over the lake, and it’s lovely to wake up in the morning with the sun shining in. We especially liked the Audrey Hepburn–style decoration of the room. Peggy welcomed us personally and gave us many great tips on things to do in Queenstown and across the South Island. She is a wonderful host and a fascinating person with many interesting stories from her life, which she shared with us even on the last day well past checkout time. :-) The homemade breakfast in the morning was excellent. We shared the table with the other guests and enjoyed exchanging experiences about New Zealand as well as stories from our home countries.

Nice, large comfortable room in a home overlooking the lake. Room had coffee, tea, water and snacks. The host, Pegs, was awesome-very accommodating, informative and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

The view was beautiful and the facilities were great. Peggy was a fantastic host and could not have made me feel more welcome. I stayed here for 10 nights and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Even after 10 nights I would stay here for another 10.

Sauf erreur de ma part, il n'est pas précisé sur Booking.com qu'il s'agit d'une chambre chez un particulier. Par ailleurs, la maîtresse de maison n'étant pas là lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous ne savions pas si nous pouvions accéder à la cuisine.

Comfy bed, excellent breakfast and the host was very fun to talk to. Everything was great including the view! Felt like a real BnB with home cooking and lovely hospitality. Don’t think twice, book this one.

Peggy was already making breakfast while we were still deep in conversation — total legend! You can tell right away that she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy made us feel instantly at home. She's warm, welcoming, and just has that magic touch. Honestly, Peggy was the star of our stay — everything else was just icing on the cake (or syrup on the pancakes)!

It was my last day in New Zealand, and since I had an early flight the next day, I had to book this hotel during a busy period. Initially, I was a bit worried about the accommodation, but the hotel staff really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were traveling with a child, and the original room wasn’t quite suitable. Thankfully, the staff kindly arranged for us to move to a larger room next door, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. That said, the room, while more spacious, had somewhat outdated facilities, and the bedding was quite average in terms of comfort. Additionally, the stairs were a bit inconvenient for carrying large luggage, making it a bit of a hassle to move around. However, I must highlight how wonderful the hostess was. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. Her warmth and attentiveness truly added a positive touch to our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay briefly, especially when catching a flight, this hotel is a decent option.

Great Host! So kind, and pleasant nice family! Our room had great view, very comfortable and so happy there. We could do a wash of clothes, and hang to dry in the sun. Nice breakfast, meeting new folks, from everywhere. Quiet, clean and very comfortable! Hope to stay again!❤️

It was like 5* hotel, Peggy was fantastic host. Breakfast was more we expected. Location is super good and lake view was fantastic. We would recommend the place and you feel like home.

I chose this BnB for it's charming, original, cozy rooms with fluffy blankets and pillows and a swing chair! I was traveling with a 9 year old girl who loves all things fluffy ;-) Peggy amazingly upgraded us to the lake view room so that we had our own private bathroom, a superb view, and she moved the swing chair in from another room just so I could surprise my daughter with it :) Awesome, thanks Peggy :) The bed was soft and super comfy, felt really blissful in there :) Very quiet as well, even though there's a road running along the edge of the lake close by. Unfortunately we didn't meet Peggy, who was unexpectedly away for a family emergency. We weren't sure where the kitchen/common area was and if we were allowed to freely use it. But we called Peggy and found it just a few steps down from our room, through a door we thought was somebody's bedroom ;) Lovely large space to hang out and full kitchen available for guests, with a great lake view. Great little WE getaway for 2 :)

Beautiful B&B room with full ensuite and excellent decor, and also many thoughtful facilities provided. The room and ensuite are spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our flight was cancelled at short notice and we were lucky to find this gem for a one night stay. Host Peggy was very welcoming on our arrival despite the late notice check-in and made us feel right at home. Close to Queenstown Airport (7k) with magnificent views over Lake Wakatipu, the location is excellent and we would love to have been be able to stay longer. Highly recommend this accommodation Thanks Peggy!

Really could not find anything not to like about this comfortable accomodation.

We loved the view and the location close to the hospital. Very quiet, so had a good sleep. Peggy was a fantastic host and her breakfast was so yummy.

Peggy was exceptionally accomodating. We had a cancelled flight and needed a room to stay for the night. She answered my call at 9:30pm and waited for us until 10pm. She was such an angel! The room was stylish, tidy and clean. We will book again on longer stay next time we are back in Queenstown!
