Ubicación céntrica dentro de Tanah Rata, cerca de un 7 eleven y oficina de cambio. Habitación pequeña pero limpia y funcional.

very good location. the lady staff helped me a lot about my travel plan.

toilet and shawer were not good enough to share with 10 beds domitory. The privacy curtains attached to each bed offered no real privacy; when the light inside was on, the interior was fully visible from the outside, and when the outside lights were on, the light filtering in made it uncomfortable.

La ubicación es perfecta, todo lo necesario muy accesible. La zona de ocio esta en buenas condiciones.

Las habitaciones huelen mucho a humedad, al no tener salida al exterior se concentra toda la humedad en el interior de la habitación. Solo tiene un ventilador y un único baño por planta (habitaciones privadas), resulta muy escaso, ya que hay varias habitaciones por planta. Relación calidad/precio mas que aprobado.

La localizacion, tiene todo cerca. Camas limpias Hay agua filtrada y te diaponible Wifi en todo el recintk y ventirlador en areas comunes.

No hay aire en las habitaciones y son muy muy pequeñas con lo cual hace un calor de miedo. Las duchas son pequeñas y solo hay dos por habitacion (de 14 personas)

Muy bien ubicado a menos de 10 minutos de la estación de autobuses y al lado de la calle principal. Me gustó que en cada planta hay un pequeño office con nevera y microondas que viene muy bien. Debajo hay un 7eleven y un restaurante el Travellers Kitchen que se come bien y tiene bastante ambiente.

Tout fonctionnait bien. La chambre est mignonne, c’est propre et il y a une fontaine à eau disponible.

Le prix, un peu cher.

Tot molt net, molt preparat pels viatgers. Té una sala d’estar molt agradable i una cuina a cada planta. El wifi funciona molt bé i l’habitació, tot i ser petita, estava neta i era agradable.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Alles zu Fuss erreichbar, sehr zentral. Sehr gute Speiseangebote (indisch) gleich nebenan. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber, jeden Tag wird gereinigt. Wasser steht zu Verfügung, ebenso Tee. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock mit kleinen Balkon, super schön. Betten bequem und alles super sauber. Das Personal ist erreichbar, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Da die Unterkunft direkt an einer Straße liegt, hört man abends den Verkehr. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Very affordable price. Nice common room with free tea and a pool table.

The bedroom gets sooo stuffy at night since there is no aircon AND NO WINDOW. The common area with a window is nice and cool. I napped there in the evening after not sleeping a lot the night before. I don't understand how they think it's okay to put 10 people in one closed room without a window or aircon. Staff was not welcoming at all for some reason when I checked in. They also had some disrespectful guests but that just happens in hostels I guess.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dem Zimmer mit Balkon verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr cozy und alle Räume sauber. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter:innen konnten uns bei Fragen gut weiterhelfen. Wir würde immer wieder kommen.

Cheap and good location

No hot water in the upstairs bathroom, toilet upstairs didn’t work consistently, they said they would provide toiletries which only included a tiny bar of soap and some toilet paper. We tried to book a tour two days in advance and were told to ask again tomorrow, when we tried again it was booked out we had to pay for a more expensive tour at a time we didn’t want to do. The staff were unhelpful when we complained about this. Our room was tiny and looked like a prison cell and smelled like damp.

Auberge bien placée, très propre et bien équipée. L’ambiance y est très bonne et il y a des endroits pour bien manger et pour boire des bières juste à côté. Accessible à pied depuis la gare routière et le départ du sentier 10 est à 10 minutes à pieds.

La chambre sans fenêtre est vraiment étouffante. Il n’y a qu’une fenêtre qui donne sur la cuisine de l’étage, donc il va falloir troquer de l’air contre votre intimité. Je vous conseillerais donc de prendre les chambres avec fenêtre même si elles sont légèrement plus chères.

Chambre petite et sans fenêtre, une salle de bain pour 10/12 personnes, douche avec absolument aucun débit et froide après 22h.

Bien situé, personnel agréable. Bien pour 1 ou 2 nuits.

Chambre privée petite et sans aération, il y avait une odeur d'humidité. Il faisait trop chaud la nuit, même avec le ventilateur. Pour les sanitaires communs, il y avait une seule toilette et douche à l'étage des chambres privées. La douche se situe dans les toilettes, il y avait une forte odeur d'humidité. Nous avons pris 4 nuits, finalement nous en avons fait 2 dans une petite chambre et avons demandé à changer pour avoir une chambre plus grande avec SDB privée et petit balcon, c'était bien meilleur pour quelques MYR en plus.

The common room was great a place to hang out and play cards & pool.

(I think this is just a Malaysian thing) I hate that the toilet and shower are in the same cubicle and you have to shower over the toilet

Básico para un alojamiento breve. Está muy bien ubicado y estaba limpio.

Las habitaciones condensan mucha humedad y las toallas toallas olían mal cuando las usabas porque no llegaban a secarse pero por lo demás una buena elección

Bon emplacement Lit confortable Dortoir et sanitaires nettoyer tous les jours. La reception donne plein d’infos sur les randonnées et excursions.

Pas de serviette incluse, penser à avoir la vôtre. Pas de clim mais les ventilo sont suffisant car il fait pas si chaud que ça. La taille d’une des douches/toilettes est assez petite ce qui n’est pas très pratique mais ça fait le taff.

A great place to stay in Tanah Rata! Our room was lovely and spacious, with a nice bathroom and a lovely balcony. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the start of hiking trails. The staff were lovely and helped us book a day trip.

The location is strategic. Nearby the bus terminal, all the facilities & restaurant. Definitely the perfect choice.

Wish they have lift but I don’t mind walking up the stairs

Questo ostello è davvero fantastico: la posizione è strategica, i letti sono molto comodi, i bagni pulitissimi e le zone comuni molto accoglienti e curate. Il personale è gentile e pronto a dare consigli utili sulla cittadina e i sentieri da percorrere lì attorno.

Not much to say. The dorm area can get a bit crowded...not much can be done about that...once I moved into a private, it was perfect.

We stayed in a private double room with shared bathroom. The room was quite cheap and in a really good location, close to everything. It was always quiet at night time

There is no AC in the rooms just a fan, and there’s no windows so the room is quite stuffy. The shared bathroom was shared with 3 other double rooms - there was only one toilet and shower between all rooms which was a little annoying!

The room is very comfortable with a reasonable price. Totally satisfied for my short stay in Cameron. Will come again for sure!

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, für 1-2 Nächte in Ordnung

Goede locatie, schoon en vriendelijk personeel.

Wij zagen dat er schimmelplek in het plafond in onze kamer zat, dit rook je ook een beetje. Ook was de badkamer wat klein waardoor de wc nat werd tijdens het douchen.

Das Hostel ist gut gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einige Restaurants und Geschäfte. Es hat einen schönen Aufenthaltsraum.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein.

Die Lage

Es muss einem klar sein das es eher für Backpacker ist. Unangenehmer Geruch der ausgezogenen Schuhe die am Gang sind. Die Balkontüre ließ sich nur bis auf einen Zentimeter schliessen, sehr laut draussen. Wir haben am gleichen Tag wieder ausgecheckt.

Not sure how this hostel is so highly rated. It’s not very social, it’s clean yes, its facilities are ok it’s one bathroom/Shower per floor, private rooms felt dim and boxed in and beds are ok comfort wise. It’s a very middle of the road hostel. Common area is ok, Good location, someone rarely at reception have to ring, dropbox for key is handy for checkout, clean hostel just not as good as its rated

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! The location is very convenient, and it’s easy to book tea plantation tours right there. They have great entertainment like books, games, and a free pool table. Also, there is a fantastic Indian cafe just nearby. Highly recommend!

Cet hostel est absolument incroyable. Tout est très propore c'est fabuleux. La salle commune est très agréable et très calme. En revanche ce n´est pas un endroit où vous pourrez faire la fête, cela dépend de vos attentes. Pour ma part c'était parfait ! Le personnel est également adorable et l'emplacement est top ! Un grand grand merci

- Very strict about shoes (you have to take them off at reception, signs saying everywhere to take your "dirty" shoes off) - Reception did not give very good advice on tea plantation (they said it was closed, but it was actually opened)

Close to bus station and booked tour via hostel so we were picked up right outside the following morning. Clean and tidy.

The shared kitchen was good, free tea available for guests, there was reading and working area with books available and also a ball pool game. They also provided a lot of information about the tours and buses.

There was no window in the room, the bathroom was very small.

L’établissement est très propre, autant les chambres que les salles de bain partagés. Il n’y avait pas de fenêtres sur l’extérieur (la nôtre donnait sur le couleur) dans notre chambre ce qui peut en déranger certain mais pas nous ! Nous avons même pu voir avec la manager pour qu’ils fassent notre lessive : 1 MYR le kilo.

Good location, close to all the trails and restaurants. Clean bathroom and nice community area with a pool table.

There is no AC and eventhough the climate is a bit cooler in the highlands, it gets quite warm in your tiny cubicle. The whacky fan over your head doesn't really fix that, as it is quite loud. You definitely also need a sleeping mask, especially the more to the back of the room you sleep as the emergency exit sign is lighting up the room like a beacon of Gondor, and the see through blinds cannot block the call for the Rohirrim

La gentillesse du staff et l'accueil à mon arrivée. Ensuite je n'ai jamais vu la même personne.,, ou alors elle ne parlait pas anglais donc compliqué pour avoir des infos sur les treks etc..

Je trouve que les espace communs laissaient à désirer. Aucun confort et aucun endroit pour fumer une clope. Ma chambre avait une salle de bain privé mais elle était collée à la sdb commune donc j'étais sans cesse réveillée par les gens qui prenaient leur douche à des heures tardives et aussi par ceux qui allaient aux toilettes la nuit. Évitez la 301 en clair. A part ça, c'était globalement ok.

The window opens to an emergency escape path, with no security grille. Since anyone can enter through that window, I felt unsafe to open the window (when I sleep). Room is now lack of ventilation. Shoe-less common area is awkward though.

Malheureusement la chambre que nous avons choisi est toute petite, en plein milieu du couloir, sans fenêtre donc impossible d'aérer pour avoir de l'air frais. De plus, la chambre n'est pas très insonorisée

5‘ ab dem Busbahnhof, gut gelegen. Einfach aber alles gut. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer im 3. Stock mit eigener Dusche. Die Strasse ist etwas laut, aber ich habe mich schnell daran gewöhnt.
