Downtown view studios

The property was in a great location, and I really appreciated the comfortable atmosphere. The place was nice, and I enjoyed my stay overall. People were quite friendly.

There were none things that could have been better, and overall my stay was good and the experience was positive.

Location

Poor cleaning , kitchen , building entry and lifts

Convenient location right next to the metro; the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir is about a 20-minute walk away. For other locations, it's better to take a taxi. The front desk is open 24/7. The room was quite comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Not all staff members speak English, so there were occasional communication issues. The prices they offer for full-day taxi services are overpriced — you need to bargain, or better yet, look for other options.

Posizione centralissima.

Breakfast very good, delivered directly to the room. Balcony spacious but practically not usable due to traffic noise and dust. Very kind and useful staff, especially Noha and Abdullah - always smiling and eager to help. All together-a very good place to stay in the center of Cairo.

Kitchen towels would be useful.

Logement très sympa au cœur du Caire! Le personnel est disponible et adorable. La literie est superbe! 👌🏽

The breakfast was good. The hotel is in the downtown and there were some good dining options nearby. The boys and girls in the reception were helpful. The kitchen was usable for some light cooking. There is a grocery shop on the other side of the street to buy water or some snacks.

Even though we booked the 1 bedroom apartment, we had to stay in the studio apartment for the first night. That one had a really bad smell from the bathroom which they tried to cover up with some strong air freshener. Luckily our booked 1 bedroom apartment was available the next day which met our expectations.

It was a really nice stay. The suit is big and cozy, and there is everything you need inside. The team is really friendly and ready to help and assist you with everything you need. So great! Thank you!

Appartment was ok

Entrance and Lift

Noha and Zena went out of their way to help us. Booked us trips that ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for them to organise and they continually communicated with us via wattsapp. The apartment was perfectly situated and wonderful to stay in. We would recommend it to anyone.

very close to the metro, 24h manned reception and being able to leave our bags till the time to go to the airport

the smell in the bathroom was a bit strong

Middle of city centre. Spacious and clean

Funcionários muito solistas e simpáticos

.

This apartment-style place in downtown Cairo was much more impressive than I expected. It was very clean, cool (with good air conditioning), and spacious. It had almost everything I needed, so I stayed comfortably for 4 days. The view from the balcony was nice, and there was a small market just across the street, so it was easy to buy anything I needed. The metro station was only a few steps away, and it was easy to get an Uber in front of the building. The location is perfect for visiting many tourist spots in Cairo. Breakfast was very good. My son really enjoyed it every morning. The staff were also very friendly and kind. They always tried their best to help with anything I needed.

One small downside — not just this place, but most places in downtown Cairo — is the noise. But it didn’t really bother my sleep. I usually sleep well, even with some noise. I have a small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a shelf or a rack in the bathroom to hang towels or place clothes. Also, here are some tips for future guests: Please bring your own toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The building is old, so the water pipes are also old. I recommend bringing a shower filter. I brought one and used it during my stay. After 4 days, the white filter turned very dark. But this is not just a problem in this building. Most old buildings in downtown Cairo have the same issue. So using a filter is a good idea anywhere in this area.

great location to explore history of cairo.. miss marium is very cooperative and wel mannered receptionist.

littlebit small but its very good.

The apartment had small kitchen and a washing machine, which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodating all requests. Bed was comfortable, AC worked perfectly well. WiFi in the room was good.

A bit outdated room with holes in the door. Sewer smell in the bathroom due to luck of ventilation. Location is good if you like to stay in downtown, but overall downtown Cairo is not pedestrian friendly and dirty.

I stayed at this hostel with my mother and son for 10 days. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay thanks to the wonderful service. I completely disagree with the previous written review about the uncleanliness and do not share this experience. The accommodation is very clean, and the cleaning staff is extremely hard-working and friendly. We received a free and very extensive breakfast in our room every morning. Everything was always freshly prepared. Every request or wish was fulfilled at any time. The location of the hostel is great. You can reach everything on foot. For the really lazy, there is a metro just around the corner. There are shops, and if you need anything, you can always ask the reception. They always tried to resolve our concerns. A big thank you goes to Noha and Zeinab. These two girls are truly worth their weight in gold. They make so much effort to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is truly like home, and they are very helpful. She is a truly fantastic host. When we are back in Cairo, we will book this hostel again, thanks to Noha and Zeinab.

We are from the UK and stayed at this place for 4 nights. We chose this studio because we were traveling with kids. The studio is spacious; however, it has many downsides. The water in the kitchen and bathroom had a strong bleach smell, and many of the power sockets did not work. I was especially disappointed with the breakfast and housekeeping services. The breakfast was very poor—we could hardly eat anything from the selection. The day before checkout, they refused to clean the studio. They didn’t even tidy up the beds, which I consider the bare minimum.

Room is excellent. Location is good. Staffs are excellent.

Breakfast is just normal and starting after 8:30 only

This was actually bigger than I needed. I appreciated the washing machine to do my laundry. The staff, particularly Maya, was very sweet. It is in a good location for many sites. There was a nice balcony to overlook the streets. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Lots of charging points close to the beds. There is a counter height refrigerator in the kitchen.

The hardest thing was to find the place. It is actually the Abdeen Palace Hostel. Google used the address and showed it at the other end of the street. I emailed the host to ask for a photo of the front, but it was too close to really see the name of the place. There was no washing powder for the washing machine so bring your own. This would be a good place for a group and one that wants to stay for several days. There isn’t a shower curtain so if you shower, the water goes everywhere. Weird long narrow bathroom and for some reason, they left the toilet paper on a shelf at the opposite end of the room from the toilet and where it would have gotten wet from the shower.

Good position downtown

Breakfast very poor, Staff not very friendly, room never cleaned, no name of the place written outside.

Cleanliness & the staff Ahmed was very helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was simple but good. We requested breakfast to be sent early at 8.15 and they accomodated our request.

It could have been better if the property could provide iron for the guests. The management should also do something with the bathroom hole, the water drained poorly during shower, but we didnt complained during our stay.

The studio is very beautiful and central nice breakfast and excellent balcony in the middle of the country everything is beautiful thank you

Nothing

Good central location, very attentive and friendly staff. We had a little problem with the shower and told to Basmala - everything was arranged in no time. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. Thank you!

Very nice staff

nothing

Our stay was fantastic. The staff was great. Always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The building is old, but the apartments are beautiful, confortable and well maintained. A great choice!

The recepcionists were really really nice, so kind and worried about delivering the best quality of experience, giving all the information that we needed; thank you Abdullah and Basmala

The staff of the hotel were so friendly, Ahmed and Abdullah were very helpful. He helped us plan our trip to the pyramids. The breakfast was excellent and fresh every morning. The location was very central. The apartment is spacious and I would recommend it to a friend!

I loved the place very much I considered myself at home and Abdullah was a good friend and all the workers and they have very good trips and a private car where you can tour in Egypt I will live again in the place

It's a fabulous accommodation. A lovely and spacious studio in such a busy Cairo city. My partner and I really enjoyed the stay in here, especially the staff Basmala who helped a lot with our request. Definitely recommend it and will come back again.

The potion of breakfast is not enough for me 😅

The apartment is on the 3d floor of a very old building ( all the buildings at the centre are the same) in downtown Cairo, next to a metro station. The location is very convenient but noisy due to traffic, but at night it gets quieter. The apartment was big, renovated and clean in general. The staff is friendly and helpful and whenever we had a problem they responded immediately. The breakfast is basic, but ok. There are all the amenities in the apartment.

Some things in the apartment need to be repaired or seem dirty (the sofa for example) and we had a problem with the towels which never seemed clean and we had to change them quite often, When we arrived there was one towel in the apartment, they gave me a second one, but it was old and did not seem clean. At least they were willing to help us and give us new ones whenever we asked. In general, the building is dirty but keep in mind that this is Cairo and unless you go to a very good and expensive hotel you can't avoid noise, garbage and dirty spaces.

I loved my stay in Downtown studios. Receptionists, breakfast lady and all other staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central and close to everything. There is stall with drinks right outside the studios and bakery on the other side. It is busy street and you hear cars and prayers from nearby Mosque but this just made the stay more authentic. Abdullah, one of the staff, has even helped me to get Uber when I was stuck one day, he called them from his own phone, and he also helped me to get water from the stall on my arrival late in the evening. I felt safe the whole time and I loved the balcony - I sat there plenty times! I miss the flat already, definitely if ever back in Cairo I would stay again.

Everything was great :D

the hotel is very good i love abdullah he is very funny

i love this hotel

very central location, near metro station and walkable to the Egyptian Museum.

A bit noisy because of honking cars, but it’s the center of Cairo, so it’s expected.

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. Of course, it is not a four-star "all inclusive" hotel, but that is not what we expected. We appreciated the local atmosphere and people more. The property is located on one of the floors (there is an elevator) of a tenement house in the central district of Cairo. Our apartment consisted of two rooms, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. Both rooms had air conditioning, and there were two balconies. In the kitchen there was a washing machine, a microwave and a cooker, and in the bathroom there was a toilet, sink and a bathtub. Every morning, at the agreed time, we were given breakfast: bread, fruit, vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, something warm, coffee, tea. It was very convenient. The location was incredibly good - a half-hour leisurely walk to the bazaar or the Egyptian museum. On the neighboring streets (towards the Nile) there were plenty of shops, craftsmen, restaurants and street vendors. Right under the building (on the side of the balcony, on the other side of the street) there was a grocery store and several fruit sellers. The people around were extremely nice and helpful. The employees were always ready to help with full commitment and a smile. They also offered us transport from the airport and organized trips (although we did not use their offers). Also a place is good for cat lovers, as several of them live inside the building :-)

Problem with closing one of the balconies. Nothing else to complain about.

Central location. Large room. Comfy beds. Nice breakfast (served in the room). Very helpful team the reception and room service is very qualified Try to help me with everything I recommend this hotel for all peoples From all over the world
