Cloud Nine Retreat

The location was fantastic, the staff was amazing and experienced, breakfast was delicious.

May improve the cleanliness of the room & bathroom.

The property was well managed and we had a great time when we stayed there for the Naadagama concert. The views outside the hotel facing the Pedro estate were breathtaking. Sahan who assisted us was a good soul and a wonderful person. He made sure all our needs were well taken care of and was always in a smiling pleasant face. The breakfast was simple and was fantastic. Really loved it.

Everything was well except for this minor thing with the hot water shower which was not consistent every time we used it. But compared to the 99% excellent service this was just a small thing which did not harm our stay.

The host was gracious and welcomed us with a drink. Breakfast was good, garden pretty and well maintained

Our bedroom was at the front, and the weather was particularly wet and windy, which blew straight into our room, opening the patio door and through the windows that don't seal properly. There were only blinds to cover the window and the glass was very dirty with green algae. The hotel exterior needs attention. The price was heavily discounted but still possibly overpriced for the standard. We raised all these issues, so hopefully, it will be better for someone else.

Excellent accueil. Atmosphère géniale avec une vue magnifique. Chambres très confortable. Petit déjeuné très généreux et très bon.

Il fait un peu frais de nuit. À prévoir des vêtements chaud.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter

Breakfast was really good.

Room was not spacious. Should have a Wardrobe in the room.

All things in this place is wonferfull, I really love everything in it.The receptionist was a very kind and lovely, he helps us alot. Also the breafast was the best in all sirilanka.

A beautiful location with delicious food, comfortable rooms, and friendly, helpful staff—an all-around wonderful experience!

It would be even better if the rooms had heaters for added comfort.

Highly recommended. Staff is very professional and friendly ❤️

The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was really good.

It's close to Gregory lake but a little far from town.

Perfect location

Welcoming staff

Not like as shown pictures

No heating facility and blankets having smell

Breakfast was good and option to choose. Different options specially for long stay travellers. Food was good. Staff- Good sense of humour

In our family room bathroom was small and not enough space. Bit stinky and nor exhaust air movement. Doors are not closing properly. Rooms okey. Location good

Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Location could be better

Breakfast was good but insufficient , inadequate , nothing else was good about this property, was a mistake to stay there. We followed booking.com ratings

Nothing was good

Good location, good view, spacious.

Need to improve the breakfast.

Great value for money and excellent service.

We had high expectations for this guest house but the room was not as shown in the images online. Upon arrival we were shown outside the building and down some steps into a basement apartment, straight away we could smell the mould/damp in the room. With further inspection, the bedding was extremely damp and stained, soaking through to the mattress. We spoke to the hotel staff and asked for a different room inside the building, to which they could not accommodate and advised damp bedding was to be expected in Nuwara Eliya due to the climate. We ended up leaving and stayed in a hotel down the road where the room was to a much higher standard (sheets were dry!!)

The view was good. Room looked cute.

The staff was'nt welcomung at first. The guy said no room was availble, however when i checked through booking.com I saw room availbility and reserved the booking after which he allowed. Even the next day the room we checked in was still available. There were hesitations from his side and had we listened to him and left we wouldve missed the opportunity of stay. The washroom door was stiff and ddnt close properly. There was no heating facility in the room which kept us very cold and made the night a little uncomfortable to sleep in.

Highly recommend ❤️🤩

The location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood. However, in the evening and early morning, you can hear singing from the temple nearby. For us, this was more like a bonus! Very friendly staff, offered an earlier check-in for free, and added an extra breakfast. Also for free! The house and the garden are quite pretty and well taken care of. You can tell there was some time from the last renovation, but it add more charm than anything,

Very warm and friendly staff who were accommodating to our needs

The property is very clean, however is a big old and thus could use a renovation

Property is really nice and clean, Host- Tushar is really helpful and kind. This place serves good food.

Highly recommended. Staff is very professional and friendly.

Loved the breakfast! The staff were kind enough to arrange it in the outdoor area.

The service is fantastic. Thushara and his team were fantastic and took great care of us. The food and hospitality was fabulous. A quaint little place.

Food was not much what we expected

Cancellation Options should be there-because if if you’re not feeling well-than it’s very difficult to get proper hospital

Breakfast is big, staff really kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond moving my luggage out in order to make my train. Room is comfy, showers are hot - no complaints here whatsoever. Grounds are impeccable, yard is beautiful.

Menu isn't particularly large and items I had were average. The guest house is far from the town and few tuk tuks come by.

Like a cottage, very good, cleanliness and nice location

N/A

Without a doubt, the breakfast! Every bite was a delightful experience—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day.

Heaters to be provided free of cost. Other than these everything is fine

The hotel had seen better times, it still was pleasant enough. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the location close to the tea plantation is nice.

Mycket trevligt ställe.

Nothing specific,

We have booked 3 double rooms, Hot water was not working in one room, they said heater unit was broken. Bath room was smelly in our room. Foods were not that great unfortunately.

The bunglow is awesome looking and is very near to Gregory lake. We booked 6 rooms. Not all the rooms were similar. Some of the rooms were nice while others fell somewhat short in size specially in size of the bathroom. The staffs, Sahan and his colleague were extremely welcoming and took very good care of us. Lawn in front was awesome. Breakfast was superb. Absolutely value for money. Recommendable.

Only thing they need to take care is the plumbing of the bathrooms. And a bedside small table would have been very convenient.

Cosy home-stay feel, terrific staff, bountiful breakfast, short ride into town, nice gardens.

Bathroom flooded after every shower and was mouldy. Some curtains in the room were a bit grubby

We liked our room overlooking the garden and watching the mist passing across. The location is near Gregory Lake, so it cut down on travelling time. We liked having our English breakfast in the dining room, which made it feel like a home. The chef prepared it fresh and served it warm. Thank you.

The room we stayed in apparently hadn't been used for some time, so the water coming from the tap was yellow. However, the staff acted promptly and was apologetic, so we continued staying for the second night.

The staff were very friendly and accommodated all our requests without any hesitation

Food, accommodation,facilities,staff,outdoor view

The location and the house are so beautiful.

The food is not good.

We arrived in Nuwara Eliya at 11 PM, only to find the town completely asleep. To make matters worse, the hotel we had booked had canceled our reservation, leaving us extremely worried. After a quick search on Google, we found this hotel. We took a tuk-tuk to reach it, but the gate was closed as it was midnight. We called the number written on the board, and a kind person named Toshant came out to assist us. He was incredibly accommodating and arranged a room for us right away. The service was excellent, and Toshant was very cooperative, doing his best to ensure we were comfortable. The hotel is in a nice location, just outside of town. It’s only a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the lake or a 10-minute walk. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was great ! We had a really nice breakfast there ! Service at the breakfast was amazing ! Staff re really professional ! Rooms re comfortable and nice ! Perfect location ! In the center

Room of i stayed in Toilet sheet bit faded and yellow , would be great if can change that ! Everything else was great

The staff is very good and friendly.

Excellent staff especially Ishara, clean & neat garden.

Hot water isn’t working properly. No dust/waste bin in the room. Not the most comfortable bed.

Location is very good. Hotel staff good and especially Mr. Tushar was supportive.

Location , facilities, cleanliness, food and mostly the wonderful attention to details of the staff headed by the Manager, Thushara..A real multitasker and a humane soul...we had a wonderful two nights at Aaradhya Nuwaraeliya and definitely will return to experience the real srilankan hospitality offered by Aaradhya Nuwaraeliya

Nothing to say anything negative of the property or the facilities. My humble request to guests who enjoy this wonderful place is to conduct yourselves with utmost sensitivity to fellow travelers.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast prepared by the talented chef each morning. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. I highly recommend the place.

This stay is hands down one of the best ones we had in our holiday. Located amidst the tea plantation, offered a very cozy stay. Thushar, the host was very warm and welcoming. We checked in quite late almost midnight and yet stayed until we arrived and made sure everything went well. Breakfast at this property is on the list of top favourite foods I ate in this holiday. Overall, had a great time and felt home.

It's basically a Villa. It looked new.and was very clean and well maintained. It's right opposite a beautiful valley of Tea gardens.. However as you need to go down to the villa you cannot see the view. Only when you go to the road is the valley visible. Good breakfast. The host makes you comfortable and is always ready to meet your requests.

The place is a bit off the main centre ( maybe 10 minutes walk from the lake). But it would be a bit difficult to reach from the market after 9 pm.

Very poor breakfast They charged separately for tea during breakfast saying it is not included in breakfast.

Overall look & feel of the guest house was lovely, apparently it's well maintained the view was extraordinary yet it's just a couple of minutes drive to Nuwara Eliya town Yummy breakfast super comfortable beds, nice & friendly owners, quickly replying to any questions we loved it so much and will definitely come back again

Nothing

in the rooms there are bad smell coming

The room is relatively clean, no mosquitoes, very quiet, and you can have a good sleep.

The owner's service needs to be improved

Location of this hotel is great for doing stuff around the areas. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is outdated, not very cosy and hygiene is not too good. Pricing is accordingly though so nothing major but they could improve on hygiene.

Clean Rooms; Good breakfast. Friendly staff

Timely maintenance of fittings, doors, etc to be done.

- Super friendly staff - Extensive breakfast - Hot shower and with pressure - Walking distance from Gregory lake (25m to city)

- Room felt a bit outdated, old carpet etc - Room was also very damp (because of the weather)

Helpful, attentive hosts. Breakfasts were excellent and the garden was a good place to relax. Although there were no tea making facilities in the room as advertised, the staff provided tea at any time of the day.

The garden was wonderful for sundowners & breakfast

Breakfast, humble staff

Wifi

Handsome looking property, location was good, easy walk to the, lake, nice room with balcony and lovely views of the countryside, very comfortable bed, hot shower. The manager, Thushara, went out of his way to help us by arranging onward transport for us in a short period of time at a reasonable cost. The breakfast was delicious, the best Western breakfast during our stay in sri lanka! We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nuwara eliya.

There wasn't anything we could fault

Location, cleanliness & staff was all good.

Party at the next property with loud sound.

Beautiful cottage with very friendly and helped us to get a driver with whom we did a tour in Nuwara Eliya. We had a really nice stay and we could choose between English and Sri Lankan breakfast.

Rooms were clean but there is a scope for improvement in overall facilities.

This property is located on top of a hill in the middle of the tea plantation. Gregory Lake is a 5-minute drive. This property also has a garden with a beautiful seating arrangement. If you are traveling with kids they would love to utilize the open garden for play. Rooms are situated on both ground and first floor and are decently sized. Both floors have spacious family and dining areas with comfortable sofas. This makes it ideal for long-term stays with all the necessary comforts. I have to specifically mention about Tussahra . He is the manager who looks after the property and ensures all guests are well taken care of. I am providing 10 stars because of the amazing hospitality and care we had received during our stay.

Food and the location is very good

Great view, Pleasant hospitality , Calm Place, Nice Food Fine for freinds and family hangout,
