It was outside the busy centre if Ella, and very quiet. Also walking distance to Little Adam’s Peak. Staff were extremeny friendly and helpful. And the dinner they served one evening was one of the best price quality dueingbour entire stay in Sri Lanka!

A 2 minute tuk-tuk ride away from Ella main road, nestled in the trees, very close to nature, peaceful with cultivated plants everywhere. Saw several deer and a grizzled giant squirrel from the balcony. The room was basic but very clean, and with a comfortable bed. The owner was wonderful and friendly, offering homegrown cinnamon tea upon arrival, and the breakfast was excellent. We've stayed at many places, and this experience will stay with us, highly recommended.

Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage! Die Unterkunft ist superschön am Berg gelegen, eingewachsen und ruhig. Die Lage ist top, man ist schnell am Adams Peak, Nine Archs Bridge und auch in ca.15min in das Zentrum gelaufen. Restaurants befinden sich direkt in unmittelbarer Umgebung, Samanta kocht aber auch ein leckeres Curry :) Der Garten ist ein Traum!! Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt keine Klima, es war nachts aber auch nicht so warm - somit kein Problem für uns :) Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Samantha, la signora che gestisce la struttura é incredibilmente gentile e accogliente. Ci ha dato buoni consigli rispetto a cosa vedere ad Ella e come muoverci per le nostre prossime tappe del viaggio. La struttura é immersa nel verde e la camera é spaziosa e pulita.

La struttura rimane un po’ fuori mano rispetto al centro ma é vicina al nine arch bridge. Ci sono parecchi scalini per raggiungere la camera (noi eravamo all’ultimo piano) per cui non é accessibile ai più anziani o a chi ha mobilità ridotta.

Samantha und ihr Sohn waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war köstlich, ganz besonders der selbst gemachte Tee und die Auswahl an Obst morgens. Die Zimmer sind groß mit großen, bequemen Betten und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend für Tagesausflüge in der Nähe oder nach Ella. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

This hotel is in a great part of town and has lovely gardens where you can see lots of wildlife. The owners are very kind and helpful. Samantha makes delicious pancakes and Sri Lankan omelette as part of a generous breakfast.

Todo muy limpio, habitaciones espaciosas y cámas muy cómodas. Desayuno típico de la zona muy abundante y además muy atentos y amables recomendando zonas y visitas menos turísticas.

Nous avons aimé avant tout l’adorable accueil de Samantha, toujours aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, les chambres dans un cadre verdoyant, la situation à 2 minutes du centre en voiture, et l’excellent et copieux petit déjeuner. La ubicación del alojamiento no es la que en su anuncio se refleja, 17 minutos hay desde el centro de Ella. Me puse en contacto con el alojamiento para cancelar la reserva al descubrir que no reflejaba la realidad y no fueron capaces de aceptar su error.

My family had a lovely stay. The host were so kind and so helpful. We enjoyed a peaceful stay, rooms were great, balconies were fantastic for relaxing. So many birds, mongoose, giant squirrel all from the balcony. Home-cooked breakfast was the best! Very easy walk to nine arches bridge and Little Adams Peak. Easy walk into town or could take tuk tuk. We would stay again.

L’emplacement est parfait, près du pont nine arch et du Little Adam’s peak à pied. Petit déjeuner srilankais très bon et copieux! Nous avons eu le bonheur de découvrir leur jardin plein de fruits et d’épices. Il n’y a pas la climatisation dans la chambre mais les températures baissent la nuit et la présence des moustiquaires permet d’ouvrir un peu, un ventilateur est présent aussi. Possibilité de lessive faite par la propriétaire, linge impeccable 👌 Malheureusement les équipements et la pression basse de la douche (chaude tout de même) ne permettent pas selon moi une note de 10 en comparaison avec un hôtel plus « luxueux ». Mais sachez que vous passerez un très agréable moment !

We had a cozy stay at Samadhi Nature Resort. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and generously served, making every morning enjoyable. The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was spotless and well maintained. Host lady Samntha and her son gave a good service including travelling tips. The bed was comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. This resort is surrounded by beautiful greenery, with cool, fresh air. Very peaceful atmosphere. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and escape from the busy Ella city. I highly recommend Samadhi Nature Resort to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb vom Ort, direkt am Abzweig zum Little Adams Peak und zur Nine Arche Bridge. Beides bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber. Die Gastgeber (Mutter und Sohn) sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, helfen bei allem und geben Ausflugstips. Das Frühstück war viel und sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a wonderful stay! One of the biggest advantages of this resort is its excellent location—it’s close to all the famous attractions while still being just a short distance from the city center. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and offered beautiful mountain views from the balconies. The breakfast was delicious and unique, with a great mix of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. We will definitely be coming back

Super freundliche Besitzer! Wir bekamen ein Upgrade und sicherlich das beste Frühstück unserer Reise. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Guter Zugang zu 9 Arches und Little Adams Peak.

Samantha was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam bij het plannen van activiteiten, en heeft een rondleiding gegeven door haar tuin. Heerlijk ontbijt. Wij hadden de 2 kamers op de bovenste verdieping, met een immens balkon met uitzicht op de bomen (met oa eekhoorns en kleine neushoornvogel). De lokatie is net buiten het stadje, prima op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden en wat kleine restaurantjes. Kookworkshop bij honey-bee is een aanrader.

Niets. Je hoort wel verkeer overdag als je buiten zit. Wij hadden er geen last van, en in de nacht is er nauwelijks verkeer. Waterdruk van de douche is wat laag.

Samadhi Nature Resort was the perfect place so far we stayed in Ella if you want a calm stay close to nature and near to Ella town. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. You can really feel the care taken in maintaining the property. Breakfast was excellent large portions with a mix of traditional Sri Lankan dishes and fresh fruits. Everything was fresh and tasty, and we were always well fed. Samantha’s hospitality stood out the most. She treated us like family, helped arrange tuk-tuks, and guided us on the best times to visit attractions. From the resort, you can take a short tuk-tuk ride (around 5 minutes) to Ella Rock or about 10 minutes to Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Very convenient location overall.

Samantha is a wonderful host very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with travel plans. She even helped organize tuk-tuk trips and gave tips on sightseeing. Nearby places like Ella Town (5 minutes by tuk-tuk) and Ravana Falls (15–20 minutes by tuk-tuk) are easy to access. Breakfast was delicious and authentic, including local dishes like milk rice, sambol, and fresh fruits. It felt more like a home cooked meal than hotel food. This resort is ideal for anyone looking to relax in nature. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of trees, birds, and a very quiet atmosphere. It feels private and away from the busy town. The room was clean, airy, and nicely designed to match the natural setting. Cleanliness was excellent, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. Very nice host, beautiful surrounding and good location to climb little Adam''s peak and walk to the Nine Arches Bridge. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent.

Everything was perfect.

The owner was really helpfull about what to do in the area. She wanted us to feel at home during our stay. The 2 breakfast were really good. The view from the balcony and the nature around were amazing.

The beds were a little hard for us.

Locatie dichtbij Sigiriya en alle bezienswaardigheden, maar niet middenin de drukte. Prachtige tuin met dieren. Wel nog steeds aan de weg, maar voor ons niet storend. Super lieve eigenaresse. Maakt heerlijk kaneelthee uit eigen tuin. Lekker ontbijt. Het zijn basic kamers, maar absoluut prima en schoon.

De eigenaresse is ontzettend lief en weet veel over de omgeving. Ze maakt heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend met lekkere kaneel thee uit eigen tuin. De kamers zijn basic, maar in een mooie groene tuin waar je eekhoorntjes en zelfs 2 reuze eekhoorns kunt zien, ook apen en vogels komen geregeld voorbij. De locatie ligt wel naast een weg, maar buiten de drukte van Ella (alles wel nog heel dichtbij).

The thing that really stands out at this accommodation is the host. She is so kind and friendly and offered us tips on where to go and what time the train was coming across the 9 arch bridge. Her breakfast were also brilliant and sje kept us well fed with more food than we could eat!

It was a perfect location, near everything you’d want to see in Ella but tucked away off the main road. Samantha was a joy to meet, her passion for the plants and wildlife really came across and she’s very friendly.

Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de bovenste kamers, met balkon. Dichtbij de startpunten van de hikes naar Nine Arches Bridge en Little Adam's Peak. Leuke plek in tropische sferen. 1km van het centrum van Ella, paar minuutjes met de tuktuk. Aardige eigenares die lekker eten (ontbijt) maakt.

Voor de bovenste kamers moet je veel trappen op. Dit moet je er wel voor over hebben. Verwacht geen overbodige luxe.

The room was super clean, comfy, and had a nice natural vibe. The bed was cozy, the bathroom spotless, and we loved waking up to birds chirping. It felt really authentic, calm, and connected to nature – just what we wanted. The food was amazing! We had a traditional Sri Lankan dinner with rice and curry, packed with fresh flavors and homemade goodness. Breakfast was just as great, with beautifully made local dishes served with care. Everything was fresh, organic, and made with love. The hospitality was outstanding. The owner and her family were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. We're definitely coming back next time. Lo que más nos gustó fue la amabilidad de los dueños. Eran encantadores, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con lo que sea. El desayuno fue de los mejores de nuestra estancia en sri Lanka, muy completo, abundante y todo casero. Se nota que le ponen mucho mimo y cuidan a sus huéspedes para que te sientas como en casa. Una experiencia mucho más auténtica que ir a cualquiera de los hoteles de la zona.

The beautiful tranquil setting, a bird lovers paradise. Samantha and her son were great hosts. Only a short walk to 9 arch bridge and little adams peak. A great breakfast was provided.

町の中心からは少し外れていますが、ナインアーチブリッジから近いため観光しやすいです。また、ホストの方々がとても親切で、バスの時間など親身になって教えてくれました。

Byli jsme doslova nadšení, paní majitelka i její syn byli velmi milí lidé, přivítali nás s otevřenou náručí, člověk se zde cítí opravdu vítán. Paní majitelka nám ukázala svou bylinkovou zahrádku, byla velmi pohostinná, dostali jsme čaj a sušenky. Ona i její syn nám ochotně poradili, jak se dostat na zajímavá místa v okolí, byli velice nápomocní. Ubytování je na úžasném místě, kdy je kousek jak na Little Adam’s peak i na nine arches bridge. Všem opravdu vřele doporučuji!

Není co vytknout. Možná někomu bude vadit vzdálenost od centra, ale s ohledem na místa v okolí, je to to nejlepší místo jako výchozí bod.

Unfassbar tolle Gastgeber. Sie hatten tolle Tipps, waren immer zur Stelle ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Der Tee nach eigenem Rezept war großartig. Die Lage war auch super.

The owner was amazing. Such a lovely lady. Nothing was too much bother. There are steep stairs to the accommodation but they helped with my luggage, insisted on taking it. A lovely cup of cinammon tea on my arrival. Breakfast was great and plentiful. There was a lovely view. The accommodation is a little out of town but close to good cafés and restaurants. It is beside all the main attractions little Adam's peak, Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge. My room had everything required except toiletries. There,was a lovely balcony to relax in a hammock or on chairs. Everything was clean, bed comfortable, mosquito nets. No bedroom furniture but chairs and tables outside to relax .

The stairs leading up to the property were steep and would be difficult when wet

The garden was a real jungle, the owners were real hosts, you can ask anything you want and they are really happy to help you. The breakfast was traditional sri lankan, very tasty.

Nothing really, there are a lot of steps, depending on which level you are staying, it was not a problem for us.

A brilliant place to stay in Ella, a few mins Tuktuk ride back to the main centre. The hosts were so kind, friendly and helpful serving us a wonderful breakfast each day and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was excellent including a tour of the spice garden around the house itself.

Staying here is like visiting family, you are looked after in a sincere way. Got a guided tour of the garden on arrival. Nature and the environment is very important to me . The house was built over many years and balconies were built to allow the trees freedom to grow through them. This place was my sanctuary away from the tourist throng. The rooms are spotless and spacious. A great breakfast in the morning.Ticked all my boxes. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Big, spacious, clean family room with a large balcony and comfy beds. The location was ideal as it was out of the main town (which is very lively!) but only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. There are plants of restaurants within walking distance too. The trails yo little Adams peak and the nine arches bridge are both a 5 minute walk from the hotel. What really made this an amazing place to stay was the owner and her son. They were so friendly and helpful! The homemade breakfast was a wonderful feast and a highlight of the stay! We had a tour of the beautiful garden and they arranged onward transport for us which was reliable and reasonably priced. We would absolutely recommend a stay here!

Maravilla de ubicación!!! Efectivamente como todos dicen los propietarios increibles!! Desayuno inmejorable, alquilamos moto y genial, nos hicieron recomendaciones muy buenas de cascades y Natural pools!

Wat een heerlijke oase van rust midden in het drukke Ella. Wij verbleven 3 nachten op deze fijne plek, we hadden gerust wat langer willen blijven. De gastheer en zijn lieve mama verzorgen je verblijf tot in de puntjes. De locatie vonden we heerlijk, een kwartiertje wandelen van het feestgedruis, en toch heel centraal gelegen waardoor alles (restaurantjes, little Adams’s peak,..) op wandelafstand liggen. De kamers liggen een beetje hoger, tussen het groen. Een heerlijk terrasje om ‘s avonds nog even buiten te zitten. De kamers zijn prima uitgerust en de bedden comfortabel. De gastheer helpt je met plezier met de beste tips en to-do’s uit de omgeving. Wij hadden echt een heerlijk verblijf!

We bleven gerust nog wat langer! :-)

Nice intimate little hotel. Location is really convinient. The trail to little Adams Peak and to Nine Arches bridge is 5 min away. A tuk-tuk to central Ella is only 500 rupees. The hotel is nothing fancy, but heartwarm and a great place to relax. The owner is very helpfull and prepares a great breakfast. She brought us tea every afternoon and even did our laundry. We stayed with four children and had a fantastic time.

It’s been a pleasure to stay at Samadhi. At a convenient location to all the attractions and city centre, The staff was friendly and guided me to arrange my holiday in Ella. The rooms were very charming and clean; the rooms got amenities, which was mentioned. The breakfast was included, and it's tasty . Lots of flora and fauna around the hotel land; I felt fresh and relaxed during my entire stay!

The resort is part of the nature yet still close to Ella's main attractions. Single room was quite big and valuable for the price. I enjoyed home cooked meal with spicy sambol. Really appreciate the hard work and will come back again.

The breakfast here is something you’ll remember. Traditional Sri Lankan dishes made fresh and served in the garden. The coconut roti and dhal were the best I had in Ella. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Just a short walk to both Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches Bridge. We even caught the train passing by at the bridge, which was magical. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Loved relaxing on the balcony with a cup of tea after hiking. This place was perfect for a quiet couple’s getaway. Surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views and just a short walk to all the scenic spots in Ella.

I had a wonderful stay at Samadhi Nature Resort. The location is perfect just a short walk to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and other scenic spots in Ella. I loved starting my mornings with their delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast fresh, flavorful, and served in such a calm setting.The atmosphere was so relaxing, and after a day of exploring, I even treated myself to an Ayurvedic spa nearby, which was the perfect way to unwind. If you're looking for a peaceful stay close to Ella’s best attractions, this is the place!

I had the chance to stay at Samadhi Nature Resort in Ella during the April New Year season, and overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The room was simple but clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a short stay. I especially appreciated the natural views right from the window sounds of birds and the cool Ella breeze was a lovely bonus. The staff was warm, helpful, and very polite, even though it was the busy New Year season. They made sure I was comfortable and were always available to help with directions or requests. Their hospitality felt genuine and added to the charm of the place. The meals were freshly prepared, with a homely, local touch. For next vacation too I am planning to visit here. Anybody who looking for peaceful environment I highly recommend this place.

Friendly owner who served us a wonderful home cooked breakfast. Neat and clean rooms with plenty of lounge chairs in the shared balcony. Close to little Adam’s hiking point

Water pressure was very low in bathroom to take shower. No exhaust fan also.

Samantha is the most amazing host. Her home is a little oasis in beautiful grounds. Hornbills will join you for breakfast! The house is a few minutes tuktuk ride from the village centre and transport is very easy. There are various bars and restaurants in easy reach. Rooms are basic, but do the job, and perfect for a short stay to explore Ella.

Nothing really. Room and bathroom is fairly basic, but what I was expecting for the price.

The calm environment

Located between the Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak, this is an ideal location for a morning trek. The hostess is truly amazing and hardworking. The breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms—everything is excellent

A very homely feel at this accommodation with a host who treats you like family. Samantha goes above and beyond for all her guests and can not do enough for you. The best cinnamon tea for sure, and you will never go hungry at breakfast.

It is a homestay, not a hotel. For us everything was great!

The location is great—away from the hustle and crowds, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The host was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to make guests feel welcome.

The hotel was quite basic. The shower water was either cold or lukewarm, with consistently low pressure. If you’re unlucky, as we were, and have neighbors with small children, you’ll likely hear them clearly. Breakfast was simple with small portions, though the host was attentive and often offered more. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and shower gel, as only a small soap is provided. Also, the towels were quite stiff.
