The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room standard is basic, needs updating. Noisy corridor room and directly over the entrance. Poor door room lock.

Have been a few times before.Was in a double room downstairs for the first time. Breakfast was good and varied although I preferred the scrambled eggs on toast.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.No reason given.

As always, a pleasant greeting on arrival. Room spotless. Large comfortable bed. Breakfast very good. Special shout out for the enthusiastic and personable young chef who cooked and served it! Although on a main road, there was no disturbance from traffic. Very enjoyable stay. This is our go-to hotel when staying in Preston. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We booked 2 rooms as our friends were staying also, and they were as happy as us.

Bar was closed. However, I'm sure that the staff would have sorted us out if we had asked.

The room was newly finished and had all the basics. The shower was brilliant. Very clean and the staff welcoming. Car parking in the price. Proper coffee mugs for a decent brew!

A bit of work needed from car parking to front door. Few pieces of broken glass on the floor.

TV was great with WiFi, Netflix, Prime Video available for free.

Breakfast didn't start until 8am on Sunday so I was unable to eat before I left.

Wish I had had the breakfast! Instead I went to a cafe, had a coffee and tea cake which cost more than the whole breakfast would have cost at the hotel.

Good sized rooms, nicely furnished, well cooked breakfast, quiet rooms and generally a nice, family run hotel.

Great links for Lytham st Ann’s and Blackpool.And the bus service was fantastic the number 68 takes you to Lytham and St Ann’s and Blackpool cheaper and more efficient than driving.

I deal for a short stay.The only thing was you had to pay for breakfast.I thought it was included.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent and very friendly. Superb scrambled egg on toast. Hotel had two car parks with plenty of spaces. Hotel nicely decorated. Ideal location to drive to Royal Birkdale for the Golf.

No proper pack up available for very early start when breakfast had been paid for in advance. Lovely breakfast staff managed to provide us with yoghurts and bananas. Food available in the evening would be a nice addition.

Rooms Very spacious and clean. Ask for view over carpark,not a problem,motorbikes parked outside bed room window and had security cameras on the carpark. Staff were fantastic,didn’t use the communal bar,but breakfast is not to be missed.

The accommodation is in a poor state of repair. Although clean, it was really run down. Definitely needs repair work. However, you get what you pay for. Personally I would at more for better accommodation.

Breakfast was lovely the hotel has had re furb in the last year I think, rooms are a good size for a single person, very clean staff very accommodating. My daughter got married 25 years ago at this hotel so it was lovely to go back and see how its changed

Stayed for 2 nights on may 30th/31st 2026.. Staff were so friendly. Made my husband and I so welcome from we entered the building. We were early for check in and no problem getting into our room.!. A real bonus after travelling from northern Ireland!!!! Breakfast was fabulous!!

Room well equipped but could have had more towels in the bathroom sufficient for 2 people! Pillows a bit low but no problem requiring more.

Small hotel that thinks it's a big hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, staff were super helpful. Altogether a great experience

Very clean room with a large comfy bed and a big shower. Very handy location just off the M6, so ideal for a stop off as a journey break. Nice breakfast cooked to order. Great value for money.

The bed is a little too hard for my preference. The room was very warm and lacking a fan, it was with a radiator turned on upon arrival. We immediately turned it off but I guess the nearby rooms helped the warmth linger for the 3 days despite the window being open slightly the entire time. And finally, I prefer absolute darkness for sleep but there was a blue lit button on the wall for boost heating which couldn't be turned off. So very minor issues in all cases

The area is very walkable and beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean, with comfy beds.

There was no hair dryer. The location is not optimal, it takes a while to get there from the train station.

La taille et la qualité du lit.

La propreté, les multiples trous dans les murs, le bruit permanent. Tout est très rudimentaire. On se croirait en auberge de jeunesse. Après pour une nuit cela fait l'affaire, mais pas pour un séjour de longue durée.

Nice and easy to get to.. on the main road, two car parks either side, so plenty of space, and the car parks have cctv and are lit up at night so nice and secure, an uber into town is around £9 or you can visit the pubs a 5 minute walk away, there's 3 on the way into town and they are friendly and within walking distance, so this property is perfectly situated. Local restaurants and KFC, Dominoes, Greggs, and local shops are also within a comfortable walking distance. If I'm ever back in Preston this will be my first choice of place to stay. The room I had was a double and was suitable just for me, nice and clean, spacious and with a window overlooking the car park I could check my car if I wanted to.
