Comfortable Mountain View Studio

One of the best stays of our lives! The studio was beautifully maintained, peaceful and exactly the kind of mountain retreat we had always dreamed of. Be careful when opening the curtains—the view is so incredible that you won’t be able to focus on anything inside! We only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Jude and Raquel, for such a memorable experience.

The place was neat, clean, and in an excellent location. The view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place with amazing scenery.

No light on top of stairs nearly trip when left in the dark, no flannel for bath, didn't replace our towel as we were there for 2 days. No milk in the fridge for coffee. Bed uncomfortable

It was exactly as described, a fair sized, good value studio which was well equipped and had superb views. It is a little way out of the centre but we knew that. (That’s why it has the view). Walking to town was easy and there was a very regular bus back upto the apartment.

We didn't realise there were more guests staying upstairs above us at the same time, we could hear them talking and walking around above us, and having to see them going past each time as they came and went, watch out for the security light blinding you as you go down the outside stairs

So often, properties are misleading with photos of views. This is not the case here, the view is absolutely stunning, even from inside, and you don't have to go and stand at some weird spot on the driveway to see it. Easy parking, and love having a washer and dryer available, so important when travelling!

We loved the location and the fantastic views of the mountains and lake. It is close to eateries and a mini supermarket. Ben Lomond forest walking trail is at the end of the street. We found the bed to be comfortable and the property to be well appointed.

Great property excellent location and great hosts

The view is marvellous, very comfortable with small but well-equipped kitchen, hosts friendly and welcoming. Enough space to have our two children, partners and grandkids back for dinner one night. We parked our hire car and walked to gondola and town centre on woodland paths for two days, which was a treat.

Some thumping noise from family upstairs reduced feeling of privacy.

Location was great excellent view

Fantastic location with stunning views from the entrance and a short drive to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable with modern amenities, though note that it can only be accessed via a short, narrow flight of steps (in case you have heavy luggage). Host was also very friendly and offered to watch after our luggage when we had some last-minute unforeseen change of plans.

Dining options within walking distance are limited.

would have been better if the room was cleaner. I stayed for more than one night, and the host didnt get the new towel, so I had to reuse it.

Mega tolles Studio und eine super Aussicht! Sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Haben bei allen Fragen geholfen. Sogar bei einem Reifenwechsel wurde sofort geholfen. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Stunning view, not far from town (took us about 30 mins) spacious for a studio and equipped with everything you might need

The studio is just nice for us (2adults and 2 kids). They provide everything that you need and it is clean too, you don’t have to worry about anything. The owner also very helpful and friendly if you ever need any help. Bonus: it is close to a bustop (Cameron Place) and also Fern Hill , if you would like to go hiking in the morning just like the locals.

It was a very comforable place with magnificent views. It had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and would stay again when we come over.

Great little basement studio with a great view of the city. Comfortable bed and easy to find!

If you're a light sleeper, you'll want to bring earplugs -- the floorboard above creak quite a bit (basement apartment) and on the night I was there, the neighbors had some kind of gathering and were chatting loudly by the open window until about 1 a.m. It's a quiet neighborhood though, and it was worth it for the view!

The views were amazing and the studio was so clean and it had everything we needed . The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, even lending me a set of tweezers haha.

The apartment could have been a bit cleaner (eg the kitchen blind was very dusty and sticky) and the television was extremely small for the space and only really able to view from certain positions. There also wasn't really anywhere to unpack/put any bags as the small storage room was extremely damp with no other drawers/hooks anywhere.

Raquel and Jude, the hosts, were amazing and the view was outstanding.

It was close to the city. The host was great at getting back to us about any issues. Great view. The room was also warm even in a southerly.

There were no instructions about where the laundry was, and we are not the type of people to go looking around a property when it is a split house. We could here the people walking around upstairs. The tv kept cutting out so we couldn't watch anything. There was no pantry to store food. The second bed was just a fold out couch. The dish washing liquid was pretty much empty when we got there. The body wash container hardly had anything in it. The curtains don't cover the door fully, so the light comes through. No obscured glass on the bathroom window for privacy, just a blind that was annoying to open and shut every time we used the bathroom.

Mountain View Studio is in a peaceful location with exceptional views and considerate and thoughtful hosts. The kitchenette had everything needed to make meals for a short stay. The bus links to town are very convenient, and there is also a beautiful forest walk as an alternative to the bus.

Great spot! So close to town and everything we needed for a few nights to cook breakfast and dinner. Thanks for the helpful tips on where to eat as well! So lovely having your morning coffee while enjoying the view

Beautiful studio, magnificent view, everything was clean and it was like a home away from home. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and sofas and we were able to use the laundry. Raquel and Jude were lovely hosts. The studio is only a few minutes out of the heart of Queenstown. Highly recommended.

The studio was cosy, ir had everything you need with the bonus of a stunning view! The hosts were beyond welcoming and sweet, and the price is more than fair!
