Wooden Cabana Sigiriya

WLAN war nicht so gut, obwohl der Router direkt vor der Tür war.

Lovely place situated in a beatiful location nearby famous Lion's Rock. Hotel has romantic and well-built wooden cabanas, super nice 'infinity' swimming pool with beatiful views. While we were there, they were finishing new restaurant terrace with same nice views. Also viewpoint on Lion's Rock. Nice and helpful staff members!

Great location to see Lions Rock! Treehouses were cool to stay in & lovely views. Enjoyed using the pool which was clean.

Unfortunately one of our party had ant infestation in the bathroom - this was cleaned twice by staff but not idea with small children. Food wasn’t great for dinner so would avoid if possible - one meal came out 30 mins after everyone else’s and was cold and inedible.

Really nice place. Excellent value for money. This place is being upgraded with fantastic taste. Some family members did not like the fact that it was not a close shower and all was wet. the new pool is great, with an amazing view. The locatoon is good, people are nice, food is really good and the cabanas are a piece of art and great taste

The cabanes are new, with modern comfort, and view at the nature. With a big swimming pool, and restaurant on the spot. It's also possible to have breakfast a la carte. Friendly and helpful personal. The view on the lion rock is exceptional from the accomodation. Easy to reach most of the sites of the cultural triangle. The hotel helped us organise transfers and safari.

The mosquitos, only by the restaurant. We didn't have any in the room.

The area is beautiful. Pool was great.

The cabin was smelly and felt not so clean. Toilet was broke. Food was not so great.

The treehouse was fantastic and also a very good price

The bathroom was on the rock itself. This made the floor in the shower slippery and there were all kinds of frogs coming into the bathroom because there are small holes in the walls they can go through.

Stunning place the viewpoint is unreal for a morning coffee or spot to hangout

A perfect wooden cottage stay with family. The property with cozy cottages, the view of lake, mountains and specially wildlife right at the doorsteps. It is full of birds and specially Peacocks flying around you. Came across deer, mountain lizards, mongoose crawling on back side and watching Giant squirrels everyday, what else can one expect. Food even though limited menu was enjoyable and reasonable. The property is well maintained and value for money. Not to forget the view of Sigiriya Rock from the property on the back side which is perfect viewpoint for sunset and a big lake in front of the rooms. Will definitely recommend this property .

Insects and flies come inside from open bathroom top which just has a grill. would recommend a fine mesh to keep insects away.

The cabana has no mosquito net so alot of insects came in the shower, even a frog The shower pipe broke mid shower and sprayed all over and they needed to fix it while i waited with towel For their credit they moved us rooms the next day but the water pressure was very low in both rooms Also way overpriced, “tourist fee”

We stayed here for one night during our travels of Sri Lanka. There is a restaurant on site which is great and the view from the cabin was picturesque!My only negative would be that from the pictures it seems the cabins are quite secluded and private. However you are in very close proximity to other guests which I hadn’t anticipated. Overall a lovely stay :)

Super warm and welcoming team! Great place to stay if you love and enjoy the nature, and it is in the perfect location to explore Sigiriya. The Lion rock can be reached on foot. You also have a private viewpoint on which you can enjoy the sunrise looking at lion rock and Pidurangala rock.

It can get quite noisy during the night since it is located in the middle of nature. We loved this but anyone with a light sleep should rather bring some earplugs.

Absolutely gorgeous stay at wooden cabana sigiriya. The family owner are very friendly and they will help you with your tours and transport. They arrange safari for us. I would highly recommend this to anyone that want to stay with nature.

The stuff is really kind and pleasant. This place is lovely if you like nature. It is perfect location, it takes 10 min walks from Lion Rock. Its very nice view, so you can drink your coffee and watch Lion Rock.

Cute wooden cabana looking over the lake...lovely to sit there and watch the world go by. Incredible view point and brilliant staff. Prasath was friendly and couldnt do enough to help us. The safari he arranged was incredible. Thank you for a memorable stay.

It’s a very beautiful spot, right in the middle of nature. Very memorable stay.

There’s a fine line between nature and dirt, we had frogs and insects coming and going to the cabana, given that the whole thing isn’t “insulated” and there are a lot of little drafts here and there. We had frogs coming in after rain, which I found charming, my boyfriend not so much. However, having cobwebs around and on the bed head isn’t contact with nature, it’s just laziness, and cleaning the space before guests arrive wouldn’t be such a bas idea.

Really nice stay with a very kind host. The view of the new cabana was amazing. Also you can climb a rock behind the accommodation and watch the sunset with stunning view!

The location is really nice and tranquil. Having direct view to a lake and vegetations. There is a magnificent view to the Sigiriya from the rock formation which is 50 M away. The room is well facilitated with AC, electricity and basic furnitures. There is hot water shower in the bathroom. Nice and friendly staff.
