Reviewed Jul 22, 2026El alojamiento es fantástico, está muy bien cuidado y tiene todas las comodidades. El personal es extremadamente atento y amable. Cuando llegamos hacía muchísimo frío y nos habían dejado la calefacción puesta y una manta térmica para que estuviésemos calentitos. Nos recomendaron muchísimos planes para hacer y al día siguiente después de nuestra excursión de suricatas a pesar de ser muy tarde ya para desayunar nos prepararon unos packs para llevar súper completos: fruta, muffin de chocolate, sandwiches, snaks, agua y pancakes caseros que estaban riquísimos! También nos avisaron que haría mucho frío para el tour y nos mencionaron que podíamos coger unas mantas. La atención es inmejorable y recomendaremos el sitio sin dudarlo, si volviésemos a Sudáfrica y pasásemos por la zona sería un lugar en el que nos volveríamos a hospedar sin pensarlo dos veces.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Nach dem ersten Blick auf das schöne und gepflegte Gästehaus war die Erwartung auf den inneren Teil schon sehr groß! Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Ein wohlgestalteter Garten mit kleinem Pool und einem guten Braai-Platz zum Grillen passte gut in den Innenhof des Gästehauses. Die offene Frühstückecke rundete das ganze ab. Die Zimmer waren groß und extravagant ausgeschmückt. Weder ein Kühlschrank noch Gläser fehlten dabei. Das Bad war riesig. Die liebevolle Hausherrin Marie und ihre lieben Helferinnen erfüllten alle Wünsch für ein gutes Frühstück. Leider hatte unser Reiseplan nur 2 Übernachtungen eingeplant. Aber wir werden wiederkommen um bestimmt etwas länger dort zu bleiben. Übrigens auch ein guter Ausgangsort, um die Swartberge näher zu erwandern...

Very welcoming and friendly host, who assisted with any questions we had and made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Communication was also excellent during the entire booking process. The rooms were very clean and a great size with all amenities required and much more. The bed was comfortable and the super hot shower was wonderful. The breakfast was next level, with two courses and very delicious. Great Wi-Fi connection and secure off street parking available. Highly recommended.

Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr liebevoll gepflegt. Das Auto steht innerhalb des abgeschlossenen Grundstücks. Wir waren vor 12 Jahren schon mal hier und waren auch jetzt wieder begeistert.

We had a very comfortable room with private outside space, including a seating area and a fire pit. Set back from the front of the property, at the end of a winding garden path, our room was a lovely, private oasis. The staff were superb, always available and helpful, even recommending a restaurant for dinner (Nostalgie, which was fabulous), making the reservation and sorting out taxis for us. If we hadn't just been on safari we could have easily spent at least two nights and had plenty to see and do. In our 3 week trip, Earthbound was the cheapest accommodation we stayed at but it was superb value for money.

Das Gästehaus war mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Zimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und umfangreich. Bei uns gab es Pancakes mit Früchte sowie Eier mit Bacon.

Es gibt feste Parkspots auf dem Grundstück. Unser Zimmer war ganz hinten, lag sehr privat. Alles war sauber. Das Bett bequem. Viele Kleinigkeiten wie Sherry und Süßes auf dem Zimmer machten den Aufentshalt besonders. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.
Leider hatten wir etwas Schimmel und einen muffigen Geruch im Badezimmer.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025We loved it. Marie was so welcoming on arrival, and the staff were very hospitable over breakfast. The grounds are lovely and it felt that someone had gone to great lengths to ensure that the rooms were comfortable for guests.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2025The room was of a good size and the decoration tasteful. Bathroom was clean and of a good size. The bed was very comfortable.
We were not offered any fruit for breakfast but got a very nice pancake with cooked banana.
