Nuwan es un anfitrión magnífico con muy buena comunicación que está pendiente de sus huéspedes, ayuda y asesora en el día a día (intermedió en la organización del Safari dándonos un precio justo y nos dio consejos sobre las visitas a Ritigala, Lion Rock y Pidurangala Rock) y resuelve cualquier imprevisto que surja. En resumen, hemos estado 3 días en su casa y ha sido una inmersión maravillosa en esta bonita zona de Sri Lanka. Hemos respirado mucha paz y tranquilidad.

I stayed in various hotels during my one-month trip to Sri Lanka, and this hotel easily had the widest and most comfortable bed of them all! The air conditioning was modern and worked perfectly, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. I was also incredibly impressed by the hot shower—it worked flawlessly, and to be honest, it was the very first proper hot shower I’ve experienced in Sri Lanka . ​It was also a huge plus to have amenities like soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle provided. ​The location is excellent, just a short distance from Sigiriya Park. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and convenience stores nearby, making it extremely convenient. For lunch, I highly recommend the government-run eatery right next door (Hela Bojun Sigiriya). You can get fresh mango juice and string hoppers for around 200 rupees while enjoying warm interactions with the local women who cook there. ​I stayed for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful time!

Beautiful room and surrounding area with amazing plants, flowers and trees. The air conditioning worked great, no problems with the WiFi, very comfortable beds and had no problems with mosquitoes in our place. The owner and his family were so incredibly kind and helpful with arranging tuktuks and activities for us. Breakfast was absolutely incredible too. There are great restaurants on the same street and easy access to activities like lion and Pidurangala rock. We loved our stay and were actually sad to leave.

The location was fantastic, the host was fantastic. For the price this place is well above the standard.

Der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und hat mir sogar ein kostenloses room Upgrade gegeben weil es in meinem eigentlichen Zimmer Probleme mit der Elektrizität gab. Als das WLAN am Anfang schlecht war hat er sich direkt darum gekümmert und ich hatte nach ein paar Minuten sehr gutes wlan. Eine sehr tolle Erfahrung. Ich kann’s sehr sehr empfehlen!!!

Die Lage ist nicht ideal aber wenn man sich ein Scooter leiht (5 min zu Fuß entfernt) kommt man überall gut hin und das ist auch kein Problem mehr.

The host, Nuwan and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Nuwan went above and beyond for us, and made us fall in love with Sigirya. The room was super spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful! He made us a different variation each morning and even let me pick a guava fruit from his garden. His daughter bought us flowers with our breakfast and Nuwan helped us book all our activities so we had zero hassle. He was always on hand if you needed anything and happy to help with any questions we had.

No fault of the homestay, but lots of wildlife and bugs due to forest and garden area. Nothing we couldn’t handle!

Nuwan has been an incredible host. He's very easy to reach, providing you with the best service possible. I can only recommend staying there!

A great Hostel, one of the best ones we stayed in in our whole time in Sri Lanka! The owner is incredibly friendly, he greeted us with a fresh juice and helped us organize scooters for the day. The room was also really clean. I can highly recommend a stay here.

I liked this place so much I booked another night! The owner and family were extremely kind and accommodating. The provided a delicious breakfast, great Sigiriya recommendations, and even let me borrow a yoga mat for my four night stay (which I extended). Amazing location right by the park and close by to restaurants, while still enjoying peace and quiet. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was perfect. Nuwan is so friendly and a great host. He made sure we got everything we needed and more. He also had great recommendations, booked tuktuks and tours for us and he helped with our onwards travel. The breakfast was amazing and plenty. The room was clean and well equiped. The outside area was perfect for relaxing, especially cozy in the rain. Cannot recommend more.

A great friendly family atmosphere makes you feel very welcome! Close to food and great breakfast Too much to eat ... Nuwan, wife and mother went out of their way. Nuwan helped save a tangled baby monkey with the support of locals. It was when we were leaving so he did follow up after a couple hours that baby monkey was safe with its family.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei in Sigiriya! Die Betten waren sehr bequem, es gab gute Mückennetze, alles war sehr sauber und wir haben ein wirklich leckeres Frühstück dazu buchen können! Nuwan hat sich für uns um Laundry service gekümmert und stand uns die ganze Zeit mit Tipps zur Seite! Es gab auch die Möglichkeit eine Elefanten-Safari zu einem sehr fairen Preis über ihn zu buchen. Wir hatten leider schon alle Tage verplant aber empfehlen daher einen Tag dafür frei zu lassen!

Owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was great. It had everything that you would want and was perfect for us day it was in the jungle and had a very cool feel about it. It wasn’t in the main area so was quieter in the evening times but there was still enough going on for us to find places to eat and drink.

The room was beautiful - clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom that included hot water in the shower. Nuwan was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was superb - delicious and plentiful, and so nice to enjoy it on the leafy veranda.

We needed a cover on the bed, but we mentioned that to the host already.

I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi. La colazione era buona. A pochi minuti a piedi ci sono vari bar e ristoranti. La casa ed il giardino erano bellissimi e molto curati, tutto pulito, con doccia calda e aria condizionata.

The rooms were very clean. We stayed in the tree house which was build recently according to the host. We really enjoyed the ambience, the washrooms were clean with all toiletries provided. Two rooms were separated from the treehouse! The treehouse is for couples while the other rooms are family rooms with equally good facilities. As a local, the host helped us a lot, he provided us breakfast as requested and helped us find decent restaurants for dinner as most of the restaurants in the town targets the foreign crowd which was a bit inconvenient for us. It’s also just 10 mins away from sigiriya lion rock, closer to pidurangala and he even arranged a safari jeep for us to go to minneriya.

I spoke to the host regarding this- the entrance is not attractive and so is the garden. He mentioned that he’s working on it so hopefully everyone can enjoy the view with their stay.

The property was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay in Sigirya! Nuwan the hotel manager was so accommodating from the second we arrived at the property. Breakfast was included in our stay each morning and was lovely! We can’t thank Nuwan enough for our trip and the communication was great throughout and Nuwan helped us organise excursions and transfers. Thank you Sigiri Veenus Paradise!

The Tree house was really cozy, and the owner (Nuwan) was so friendly and helpful. The place was well maintained, and breakfast was perfect!

I loved my chalet in the trees. The bed was comfortable, loads of nice amenities and the bathroom was exceptional. The shower and bath facilities are so good. A lovely breakfast was included that we enjoyed very much both days. The host was perfect and was an incredibly nice man

Only very small thing, I struggled with the heat without aircon. However, with the fan, I was perfectly fine and I slept well.

The property is right behind the main road but at the same time it is immersed in a lush, gorgeous and quit jungle garden. The host is extremely caring and helpful in arranging transport and activities.

Just know it’s a humble accommodation. It is great value for money.

The owner Nuwan was very accommodating and happy to help with any questions. He made a lovely breakfast and even made sure we got on our next bus ok, would recommend!

The room was a great size however I do think the room could be improved with A/C rather than fan and better ventilation.

We really enjoyed our stay in the new “cabin”. It was nice to sit on the deck in the evening. The bed and pillows were very comfortable (the best of our trip so far). The breakfast was great. We were able to arrange a safari and it was a good price. The wifi was strong. A few restaurants near by for food.

You could hear a bit of the noise from the road in the evening but it was still quiet at night (and I’m a light sleeper).

The accommodation is beautifully located, with a large terrace in the middle of the garden, and there are really great restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner. The host is very friendly and helpful, he also took us to a secret viewpoint on the duwannagala rock for sunset. We can only recommend this accommodation.

It is not the cleanest Place. But it is in the middle of nature, so if you Like this, its a nice Place to stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I was not well. They arranged a tuk tuk for me to go to lion's rock and picked me up from the bus stop when I arrived. The place is simple and extremely good value for money. It's a little further from where a lot of restaurants are but they are walkable and there are some places closer too. It was close enough for me to walk back from lion's rock.

We had the pleasure of being the first to stay at this great new stilt house, and I can't recommend it enough!  The bed is really comfortable.  The bathroom is spacious and hygienic.  The little terrace with table and chairs has rustic and relaxing feel.  The stair lights are great (and considerately turned on by somebody in the evening)!  Everything was immaculately clean, and the tasteful decor added a lovely cozy vibe.    It's only 2.2km from Sigiriya and WOW!  What a day out that place is!  Well worth spending 3-4 hours there.   I really respected and appreciated our host Nuwan, he was likeable, attentive, charming and always on hand to offer help.   If I make it back to this part of Sri Lanka I will be looking to stay here again and see my new friend!   Thanks for a great stay mate!  Xx

We had a very comfortable stay at Venus Paradise in the heart of Sigiriya town and very close to restaurants and Lion Rock. Our triple room was simple and clean but had everything we needed, including a kettle and shower gel. The mattress & pillow were unexpectedly one of the most comfortable we'd ever slept in ever! The host Nuwan is just a WhatsApp text away if we needed anything, and the complimentary homemade breakfast was delicious. You might find yourself accompanied by Kitty, the cutest and most affectionate cat during breakfast. P.S.: Stargazing is excellent.

My stay at sigiri veenus paradise was simply amazing. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality of the host Nuwan was exceptional, always present and ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, with an impressive level of cleanliness that made a real difference, and the wifi was fast and reliable. I also needed a long-distance taxi, and they took care of arranging everything for me, saving me time and hassle. A very exciting detail is that they are building a treehouse-style room, and from what I saw, it’s going to be an incredible experience for future guests. Definitely a place I would recommend without hesitation.

This was a brilliant find! Excellent value for money. Our hosts Nuwan was amazing, within a few minutes of asking he had organised a scooter to rent and a safari for the next day, all for exceptionally good rates. Nice big room, probably best shower of our holiday, nice veranda if it’s raining. I don’t often take the time to leave reviews but this one I highly recommend

A wonderful place to stay! The room, terrace, and jungle-like garden create a great atmosphere. Everything is clean and neat, and the owner/host is incredibly kind and helpful. The accommodation is in an excellent area, close to all the tourist attractions! The host was exceptional, offering information and a traditional breakfast. Very friendly host, quiet location but still close to the center of Sigiriya, 2km walk or a tuktuk ride for 500 lkr. There are some restaurants just a few minutes walk away. I didn't like the smell of the bathroom, but it was still clean and the bed was very comfortable :)
