Ontvangst was prima! De eigenaar was er niet, maar had duidelijk app contact met ons gehad. De dag voor aankomst was er al contact. De staff was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was prima, de douche was byzonder maar geweldig. Water kwam uit een houten halve buis en je stond onder kleine waterval. Dit was bijzonder prettig en heerlijk warm. De door hun gekookte maaltijd (rice & curry) was smakelijk en meer dan genoeg voor een uitstekende prijs. Een volgende keer zouden wij hier zeker naar terug gaan! Aanrader!!

Une maison à l’écart de l’agitation, dans laquelle on se sent extrêmement bien ! Charme authentique avec une décoration traditionnelle et soignée. Les hôtes sont très gentils et prévenants, disponibles tout en étant discrets. Les dîners préparés sont excellents.

Traditional style stay which was well looked after by the caretakers, breakfast was delicious and abundant. Other meals were provided at a fair cost. We enjoyed being away from main roads and business. Monkeys came past in the backyard which was cool.

Great location. You will feel the real nature and tranquillity. Wonderful place to stay. Brilliant customer service and very helpful staff. Delicious Sri Lankan food served during our stay, dinner and breakfast. Value for money and recommended f0r anyone visiting Sigiriya.

Der perfekte Ort um die Gegend zu erkunden - ob zu den Nationalparks, Ausgrabungsstätten oder einfach die Landschaft mit den vielen Seen rund um das Haus. Das Haus ist ein angenehmer Ruhepool fernab vom Lärm der Städte. Mit seinen antiken Möbeln und ausgesuchten Fundstücken strahlt es eine sehr authentische Sri Lanka Atmosphäre aus. Dev ist ein supernetter Gastgeber, der die Kinder mit zum Angeln genommen hat oder uns mit Ausflugstipps und der Buchung der Safaris zur Seite gestanden hat. Auf der schattigen Veranda vor dem Haus hat jeder seinen Platz gefunden.

The location was amazing right inside the jungle. In such a location the facilities were beyond my comprehension. The breakfast was very good and abundant. The place was clean. Since it was in the jungle I would recommend all to take mosquito repellent.

All was good, except the bathrooms were a little away from the bedrooms and the knobs of the faucets were a bit tight. Need to maintain them.

The location is different from the usual as you are in the woods.We had Good food from the owners and shared some drink.They arranged a taxi for us to our next destination

The cooking facilities were not adequate

Very quiet and homely accomodation. All facilities are well maintained and clean. Very spacious bathroom. Very good airconditioning. Caretaker was super freinedly and very attentive. Dinner served on our request was well prepared and tasty.

Breakfast lacked variety. Need to accepr that we did not specify our requirements. Had we done, think the breakfast could have been better.

One of the most beautiful places we stayed on sri lanka. Located in the jungle this beautiful house is an oasis of peace. Style and decoration outstanding and the housekeepers are so sweet! They provided breakfast and dinner in sri lankan style and were so welcoming. On the last day we got to meet the owner and had interesting conversations. This is a personal recommendation!

Didn't like that we had to leave this place.
