To much cold water in swiming pool

The Attitude of the staff, especially at the restaurant. The Chief of Operation of the hotel was physically around and attentive towards the needs of the guests, almost always. Very elegantly done up property with a distinguished look.

The bakery spread for breakfast could have been a bit more.

Beautiful maintained property, very clean, amazing breakfast and dinner menu. Staff were very polite and helpful. Love the traditional musical entertainment every evening.

There was not much indoor activities. There’s a TT table but without Aircon or fan . Also some biscuits or cookies with tea would have been great. Found the Prices of Food items slightly on higher side.

El hotel es realmente bonito. Un propiedad realmente agradable, acogedora y muy bien decorada. Buena comida con buffets mejores que en hoteles similares. Carece del lujo extremo de otros hoteles de Rajastán pero a cambio es un hotel mucho mas agradable que otros aparentemente de mayor categoría. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

I have stayed at many places in India but this hotel was a whole other experience. It feels like you are staying in a fairytale. The property is beyond beautiful, the architecture, the vibrant colours, the decor, you feel like you dont even want to leave the palace each day! The staff and service were the best I have experienced in years. I live in Australia and the service exceeded anything we have here. This hotel is a standout. I cannot wait to visit again.

The decor and the interiors is done very tastefully. The pool area and the outside dinning area is amazing. The evening folk music show was a pleasure. Staff was courteous and helpful. It was a pleasure to interact with Mr. Shyam he was very helpful.

The room service was a little slow at times. The breakfast menu was a bit repetitive could be a better variety.

Great location and hotel grounds. The decor was amazing with some stunning interior design work. Enjoyed the evening cultural activity. The food at restaurant was stupendous and really enjoyed the daily morning breakfast!

The swimming pool looked like not used or kept in a clean state.

The appearance, the facade and the size of the property along with the size of the rooms were palatial and like that of a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately that's where the feeling of a 5 star hotel ended. It's still a 4 star or a little higher than a 4 star but with the price tag of a 5 star hotel (hence the cons).

There were a bunch of things not on par with the experience of a 5 star hotel that I've experienced at other properties such as Taj/ITC/Marriott etc. The review is keeping in mind the services/amenities offered with the 5-star price tag and thus you'll often see a comparison to a 4-star facility. 1) One of the biggest cons was the quality of the breakfast. The spread was limited and the quality and taste of the items in the spread were sub-par. Honestly, I'm used to having better breakfast at 4-star hotels. 2) The service from the hotel and the staff was clearly a 4-star service. If I start putting everything in words I'll have to be very long-winded and I'm trying to avoid that. It's the small things that add-up to make the stay a 5-star stay and they clearly failed to offer that. Here is a glimpse - e.g. coffee sachets instead of an espresso machine in the room, bathrooms were not elder friendly and lacked a magnifying mirror, the pool was not heated preventing access in winter time, the foyer was royal but every other hallway was just meh etc.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Die Liebe zum Detail mit den Bildern und Malereien sind grossartig. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit hat uns zum Turbulenten Alltag in den Städten sehr gefallen. Der Sevice und die Angestellten sind sehr zuvorkommend und lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Das Essen ist lecker und das Angebot vielgältig.

Beautiful property not too far from Airport and City. Staff and management were exceptional. Excellent food in the restaurant and the cultural performance in the courtyard was a great experience. We also met some Bollywood actors during our ata which was a bonus.

An immaculate interpretation of a majestic home, beautifully presented and maintained with every creature comfort. Room was very large and very confortable. Staff were all extremely helpful and attentive, especially the director of beverages, thank you for making our stay very special. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful property, excellent stay, though far from the old city but nice to be away from the hustle bustle

Fort Rajwada is an exceptionally beautiful hotel with the most fantastic stone carvings and hand-painted walls and ceilings. The layout of the grounds and public areas are really stunning and the staff cannot do enough to help. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the rooms are lovely and very well maintained. Finally, Shyam the hotel Director was extremely kind and accommodating to us when we returned to pick up our luggage after a night in the desert. Highly recommended.

It would be great to have a shuttle service into the town though it is possible this runs in the season.

Comfortable rooms, the spa facilities have potential to be nice

On the face of it, the hotel room cost seem very reasonable but once you are there they will take any opportunity to get money out of you… 1) very expensive taxi pick up from the station to the hotel. As it was really early in the morning I decided to take the hit but little did I know this was just the start.. 2) they insisted on me paying an early check in fee of £70 as I arrived early- even though I confirmed with the hotel beforehand that I could relax at the hotel before check in to which they said this would not be a problem. After a really rude and awkward interaction with both the front desk and manager I Managed to negotiate it down to £35 with complimentary breakfast. As I arrived at 6am in the morning I was very tired and felt like I was taken advantage of, I really should not have paid anything but felt very pressurised by management. Disgusting. 3) taxi service cost into town was eye watering. Luckily the staff on the front gate were very helpful and arranged a local tuk tuk driver to take me for the fraction of the price. 4) the spa facilities was the absolute worst experience!! I had asked if the steam and sauna was free to use by guests however when I got there the spa receptionist was unbelievably rude. He insisted I had to pay for a massage in order to use the facilities. When I said I am a paying guest and I get free access he continued to hover and told me I was taking way too much time. I was there for 30 minutes maximum. The whole interaction was bizarre and certainly wasn’t a relaxing spa retreat I was hoping for!!! 5) breakfast was ok but could have been better, some of the buffet food looked pretty questionable. Also I felt like the staff were watching over me which was not a relaxing experience. Overall, the hotel lacked any type of ambiance and it felt like an off season resort.I steered clear of ordering any food/drink as it was so overpriced. On leaving, the manager asked me to submit a good review online!! Jaw dropping!

Everything was excellent. Shoutouts to Gulab, Roshi, at Bar Rohit, Raman, Runjan house keeping. So peaceful and serene we found it to be a wonderful place.

Nice hotel built like a Palace / Fort like ambience with many Jharokas , nice paintings , and expensive Decor beautifully maintained . Evening cultural program was also good . Staff and management is polite and courteous always . Kind enough for arrangement of Cake / nice decoration for Birthday .

First of all it is not a real fort converted to hotel but a hotel built like a fort . My room was called Royal Palace Room ( 2nd level ) but there was no Royal feeling inside . Need small improvements like keeping Bath salt for tub , provision of hot fresh milk ( instead of powder milk ) for making tea/ coffee . Shampoo and conditioner should have been branded like forest essential / Kama types . Some kind of smell in pillow covers . Steam room and sauna in Spa should be part of hotel room tariff ( why only for those who take massage ? ) . Buffet was not so great but Alacarte was delicious .Airport pick-up by hotel is for ~3000/- whereas online booking charged me only 1000/- for Innova .

Nice property Open space very clean natural setting close to city Cultural program was good in the evening All the staff members took excellent care of us I would recommend this place for short stay but after staying at Marriott and Suryaghar in this city our expectations were little high for this particular property I would consider this property as Holiday Inn vs Ritz Carlton

The furniture in dining room is interesting old Style but the chairs make so much noise when one moves them ! A small rubber on chair legs will help .

Lacking atmosphere

Amazing hotel! The welcome which staf prepared for us was just wonderful. and also the delicious sweets were waiting for us in the room. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean, tastefully furnished with an excellent bed. Every evening the room service made our bed, cleaned it again, changed the used towels. The pool is perfect and big. It was meticulously cleaned every day. The entire hotel is furnished with great taste, the stonework, tiling and painted pictures are precise. But the best is the excellent cuisine. Not only Indian dishes, which are simply dreamy, but also, for example, Asian dishes are excellent. The cook is a genius. The staff of the entire hotel is very helpful and kind, especially Rahul in the restaurant and then the waiter during the morning service, whose name we unfortunately did not remember. I will mention two moments that really made us very happy: I forgot my women's swimsuit in Mumbai and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use the pool. When we asked the staff for information on where we could buy women's swimwear in Jaisalmer, within 15 minutes the staff brought us two types of beautiful swimwear that fit me perfectly. Thank you very much. The second moment was when we wanted a lighter fruit salad that was not offered on the menu - we got a delicious, well seasoned salad immediately. Some days we got breakfast À lal carte, other days it was a buffet, depending on the number of guests. Both options suited us perfectly, because in the case of A' la carte we got whatever we wanted, so there was no difference. We definitely recommend this hotel and thank you very much for a wonderful stay. 

We throughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Fort Rajwada hotel resort. The property architecture and ambiance is amazing with exceptional staff and service who paid detailed attention to all our needs! Breakfast and dinner were excellent with a great choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Looking forward to visiting again!

Beautiful architecture and interiors, and lots of attention to detail. The staff was very helpful.

They were new, so had very limited information and guidance for arranging travel. For example, very few travel operators know how to organise bird watching in the Desert National Park, and they did not know who these operators were. In addition, their communication prior to arrival was misleading. They did not communicate that the hotel was being refurbished and their website shows several facilities which are not currently open - e.g., rooftop bar.

Incredibly warm hospitality, an extremely cozy hotel. The staff is unbelievably friendly and absolutely adores their work. The architecture and interior design are crafted with an immense amount of passion and love. I would absolutely love to visit again.
