Un séjour exceptionnel ! L'accueil et l'hospitalité de toute l'équipe ont été tout simplement incroyables du début à la fin. Ils ont été d'une immense gentillesse avec ma famille, nous ont donné d'excellents conseils pour notre voyage et nous ont même offert de délicieux plats. Un immense merci pour leur générosité : ils nous ont accordé 5 heures de late check-out gratuites sans aucun frais supplémentaire pour que nous puissions nous reposer avant notre train de 17 h pour Delhi. C'est rare de voir une telle attention. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Het is een nieuw gebouwde haveli, waarmee de eigenaar een statement wil maken. Dat is goed gelukt, het ziet er prachtig uit en de ligging ten opzichte van het fort is ideaal.

Het hotel miste karakter en sfeer. Misschien omdat we daar aan het eind van het toeristenseizoen waren en de enige gasten. Het personeel was nogal onverschillig, het deed wat het moest doen.

Customer service Staff was amazing manager and front desk were very nice and gave good honest advice on for example price to the airport Rickshaws were readily available just outside the hotel in the center of town but still a bit outside where it is peaceful very safe - they check everyone coming in

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Rajasthan - and truly the best one in Jaisalmer. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged seamless transfers for my family and me from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer, and later from the hotel to the airport on our departure day. The hotel itself is stunning. It beautifully combines traditional Jaisalmer sandstone architecture and intricate carvings with modern design, bright rooms and up-to-date amenities - it’s newly built and very well maintained. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous, with a wonderful vegetarian breakfast served there (included in the room rate). The pool looked so inviting - I regret not bringing my swimsuit after seeing other guests enjoying it. The location couldn’t be better - just a 10-min walk to the main entrance of the fort, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. We explored Jaisalmer entirely on foot - no tuk-tuk needed! I was genuinely sad to leave this place, as it marked the end of my India trip. Jaisalmer will always stay in my heart, along with the warm memories of this hotel. Thank you so much for your hospitality and such a wonderful stay. ❤️

Everything. The location was extremely close to the fort, the style of the Haveli was in keeping with the character of the city, staff and the owner were very helpful and the rooftop restaurant had excellent views. The staff was very accommodating for my in laws who can't eat spicy food at all.

The staff are lovely and the rooms were very nice.

There is a lot of noise that travels through into the rooms from the street - dogs barking, car horns, people arguing and talking etc. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned and that means leaving it open for the staff which is less than ideal.

A beautiful new haveli with views of the Fort and a 5 min walk to the main gate. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a great wet room. The upstairs terrace had a lovely view of the Fort and the swimming pool looked very clean but we didn't use it. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Would stay there again.

The location is within walking distance of the fort. The place is a fairly newish build and was lovingly designed by the owner, he looked out for details to stay true to the area and history. The whole place was charming. Staff treated us well. The owner greeted us and gave us a small farewell gift. He’s was a really nice person who shared about how much he cares about retaining history of jaisalmer.

We are westerners, so the bed mattress was a little bit too hard for us but only a bit. It was still very comfortable.

It's a beautiful property right at the foot of the fort with a great sunset view, and the owner is very kind!!!

The shower was broken, and we got the light in from the entrance door. A curtain in front of the door would be great.

Manage the breakfast better, they have a lot of space on the 2nd Floor. That needs to be utilized rather than have hotel guest wait in the cold for breakfast. Really need this improved!

Great stay. Perfect location, just below the fort (10 min to entrance). Newly built over 10 years from scratch, in Haveli style. Good breakfast. Staff/owner very well connected and outstandingly helpful.

I really loved the beautiful interior that reflects the traditional Haveli style. The quiet and calm atmosphere made the stay even more relaxing. It was wonderful to enjoy meals and swimming on the rooftop with Jaisalmer Fort as the backdrop. The hotel helped arrange a guide, which allowed us to visit Jaisalmer Fort comfortably. All the staff were very kind and respectful, and they did their best to understand and accommodate my requests. They recommended traditional Rajasthani dishes, giving me a great opportunity to try new foods. All the meals were delicious, fresh, and well prepared. This stay will remain a comfortable and happy memory for us.

It's a stunning building. The attention to detail was fantastic. We stayed in some nice hotels in Rajasthan but this was our favourite! I also want to give a shout out to Sunil for serving a lovely breakfast

Nothing - it was perfect

The location is great, right opposite the fort. It has a lovely terrace where we spent most of our evenings. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and attentive. They ensured our stay was comfortable and ensured we have everything we need during our stay. They provided a free airport pickup as part of the package which was an added advantage. Breakfast was included in our room rate. They served mainly Indian breakfast with choice of toast, cereal, fruits etc. It’s was a great spread and we thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian food, especially the Thali. Thank you for looking after us and for a memorable stay.

Restaurant service not good

We loved the pool, the staff and the location. The pool was so refreshing in the heat and the partial views of the fort from there were as added bonus. The staff couldn't have done more, bright, happy and every helpful including organising our transport and offering cold drink just when needed. The location is a 10 minute walk up to the castle. An easy road up passed banks and shops. Combined with the fantastic views offered of the fort it's an almost ideal location.

There it's a bit of street noise but that's part of the charm of India. Maybe aim for a top floor.

I am upgrading my review of this accommodation because the staff have really gone the extra mile to forward on to one of our group some clothes that he left behind. They really took care to package everything up and followed the tracking of the parcel from Jaisalmer to London. Grateful thanks to the staff. It was a special thing they did and made a 91 year old guest very happy!

The Guulab Haveli was beautiful and comfortable. We had a view of the fort from the rooftop. The rooftop pool was a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was exceptional with a mix of western and indian foods. Not to mention an enjoyable cup of coffee. The manager Das looked after our every need. Highly recommend staying here.

The haveli itself is beautiful , period.

It s in the middle of a round where the traffic is very intense and the rooms are not sound proof , when there so no noise from traffic the pigeons at the windows are incessant. Rooms weren’t properly clean . Brreakfast fits day we asked for a piece of toast and jam And they told us that was just Indian breakfast . Pool water was dirty. After our compliant the rooms has been cleaned very well and the day after we found toast. The hotel is new still a lot is missing and for what we paid we were expecting a good service. Staff are very nice .

Having only - 1/2 day in Jaisalmer the Guulab Haveli was a perfect location at the foot of the fort. It was very convenient and easy to be on foot. The staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. The hands on owner takes great pride in the beautiful building inside and out and hands on care for each guest.

While a perfect location it is nestled in a cross section of busy active streets of the old city. This is part of the charm but it comes with local noise of car traffic.

Need some good soundproof. The room facing the fort side road is very very noisy. There’s also lot of internal noise. There’s always some loud cracking noise inside the room. It’s very annoying, difficult to sleep. Staff said it’s due to the internal central hearting & air conditioning. It was very disturbing. Couldn’t sleep properly. Otherwise everything else about this hotel is excellent.

I would say this was a very well made property with good attention to details. Room sizes were generous, and the whole architecture plus extra spaces in the design of an old haveli was very good. The rooftop space with the restaurant was great to soak in the city views and relax. The made-to-order breakfast service was amazing with great food.

If I can suggest one thing, they can do with some sound proofing of the windows. In the night, all the traffic noise came right through into the room, even the pigeons in wee hours of the morning could be easily heard loud and clear in the room. While wooden window frames are understandable vs the architecture but sound proofing is important for relaxed night stay.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in our India trip! Convenient location very close to the main gate of the fort. Incredible traditional stone architecture with wonderful local decoration. Beautiful and clean room (they upgraded us for free) with high quality furniture and very comfy and big bed. The staff was very attentive since the moment we arrived, but also very respectful and not intrusive at all. They allowed us an early check-in for free, they helped us to get a very cheap rickshaw to move to our second hotel too. Excellent vegetarian dinner at the rooftop restaurant with affordable price and great views over the Jaisalmer fort. Nice vegetarian food for breakfast too. Beautiful pool in the rooftop. It was totally worth the price.

Nice and clean new hotel with characterful rooms. Amazing view from the roof top terrace, and great location near the fort. Breakfast is served on the roof and cooked fresh to order, with a hot drink, juice, sliced banana, and options like paratha, dosa, or toast.

Not much privacy if you have a ground floor room. We booked a deluxe thinking we would get a superior room, but were disappointed to have paid more to be on the ground floor with street-level window access.

We recently stayed at Guulab Haveli in Jaisalmer, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The hotel is very new and in pristine condition, with immaculate cleanliness and attention to detail in every corner. May be curtain in the shower to avoid water splash everywhere. The noise (horn) as the hotel is in the city. Pigeon voices early in the morning.

The hotel is beautiful or stunning finishings. It has a very nice rooftop pool and terrace where you can watch sunrise and sunset and have a great view of the fort. The hotel is more like a 4 or 5 star. It is in the perfect location close to the fort and it is quiet at night.

This is a newly built hotel respecting the traditional style. The rooms were lovely and the bathroom was really splendid. Best of all the staff were amazing, so helpful and kind.

Location was fantastic - easy walk up to the shops and fort. Possible to walk to the lake (15-20mins) although an auto easier. We had a fantastic stay - the manager and staff were really helpful with lots of advice and tips. The food was amazing - delicious - made fresh to order. Comfortable rooms and clean.

Food, staff, the rooms, the decor, location all are excellent.

They should mention that they serve only vegetarian food and no onion garlic even. They don't serve alcohol and even if you request them to get it it's frowned upon! Very weird. The owner told me to get it from outside by myself as they don't like to get it. The owner seems snobbish and lacks hospitality.

This hotel was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences we had in India. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always willing to help with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh fruits and a delicious juice we won’t forget. The architecture and design of the place are truly remarkable, and the cleanliness is impeccable—10 out of 10. We also got to enjoy the pool during the hottest hours of the day, which was a great relief. The atmosphere at the pool was very relaxing, and once again, the staff was always attentive to any needs. To top it all off, the dinner was spectacular, with delicious Indian dishes. Although the place is a bit pricey, it is absolutely worth it. The quality of the experience justifies it completely. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful building that stands out when you look from the fort - fantastic views of the fort and only a 5 minute walk to get into it. The staff were all so kind and attentive - making us teas in the evening, bringing drinks by the pool and when our friends forgot something after leaving to airport they sent it immediately on a scooter to the airport to get to her before she left! The pool is a lovely place to cool down with spectacular views. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The lunch thali was one of my favourite meals in India! 100% recommend - a wonderful relaxing way to end 3 weeks in North India.

The building is beautiful and very conveniently located to the fort. The rooftop for breakfast and pool is also stunning. On the day we were leaving they also organised a breakfast parcel for us as we were departing before their breakfast opened which was much appreciated.

There were some quite persistent rickshaw drivers outside the property who kept hassling us on the first day. It did seem to calm down after that but there were a lot of them

The hotel is new and extremely comfortable. It is well located in a nice place and close to the entrance to the Jaisalmer Fort (100m). We arrived by train at 5.00am and they picked us up at the train station and we could directly dispose of our rooms. The same with the late check-out the last day. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool on the top with fabulous view on the fort.

The entire staff right from the proprietor, the manager and the assistants made sure that we have a great time. They went out of the way to make things comfortable and memorable for us. The location is superb very near the Fort. The breakfast was exceptional with good number of options. The rooftop dining area had an amazing view of the fort.

Supernew hotel, only been open for 2 months so everything is super fresh and an amazing building! They have a bit more work to be done (some lamps and clodes hooks), but we are very happy with our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and its at a great location.

The pool was maby just for looking. I would not swim in it.

The property just opened, so they are still new at managing, hence our room was not cleaned as they forgot to tell us to leave the key. Lunch or dinner is not provided as a service yet.
