Un super séjour avec un hôte à l’écoute, très accueillant et qui fait son maximum pour que tout se passe bien. Je le recommande à 100 % ! La chambre est propre, grande et très confortable. Nous avions même une cuisine à disposition. Nous avions choisi la chambre sans climatisation, mais le ventilateur fait largement l’affaire. La maison est très bien située, à proximité de toutes les commodités. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et change chaque jour lorsque vous restez plusieurs nuits, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Encore un grand merci pour ce super séjour !

Une petite odeur d’humidité dans la chambre à notre arrivée, mais elle disparaît rapidement une fois la pièce aérée et le ventilateur allumé, donc rien de dérangeant.

The home stay is just a short walk from town, the host was so kind and helpful, the place was kept clean and had everything we needed.

Die Lage ist nicht ideal aber dafür sehr ruhig und man ist trotzdem in 10 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum bzw. am Strand.

Very clean, owner was very helpful and great location

We had a great stay at Mountain Peak Homestay. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, arranging us scooter hire and answering any questions we had about the area. They also provided the best breakfast we’ve had in our accomodations in Sri Lanka!

Great one night stay. Short walk to the beach, comfy room and friendly staff.

El dueño muy amable, lugar tranquilo pero cerca de todo y desayuno muy top. Para repetir!

Super lieve mensen. De kamer is schoon en je hebt een lekkere warme douche. Ik ben helaas ziek geworden tijdens dit verblijf maar de jonge man heeft met me alles geholpen waar ik om vroeg. Ik kon hem altijd een berichtje sturen en hij stond binnen een paar minuten voor de deur. Super fijn gevoel!

We had a great stay ; the property was well placed, 10 minutes only from the beach / all the places you should go to in the city. The rooms were large and the bathroom perfectly clean.

Leuk verblijf op wandelafstand van het strand. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de host met welkomsthapjes.

Je kan niet echt spreken over een tuin maar eerder over een binnenplaats met planten.

Everything was perfect. We loved the location. Very quiet place, into the nature.

Tharindu was an amazing host. The rooms were spacious, bathroom was modern, AC was great. Even had kitchen facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Location was great. Would highly recommend!!

Nothing - it was great!

Lieve gastheer. Goeie locatie 15 min lopen naar het strand, wel met een kleine heuvel. Airconditioning werkte goed en een heel uitgebreid ontbijt. We konden zelf kiezen wat we wilde voor ontbijt. Je kan ook een scooter huren. Goed uitgeruste badkamer. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.

Het is af en toe wat gehorig in en om het huis. Daarnaast zit je midden in de natuur met de bijbehorende insecten, maar dit is te begrijpen.

The position of the flat was very good. The Host was nice. Breakfast was very good with fresh vegetables.

Rooms were somehow dark which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb des trubeligen Zentrums, trotzdem ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten ins Zentrum gelaufen. Unsere erste Nacht haben wir im Zentrum verbracht und waren wirklich glücklich ins Mountain Peak gewechselt zu haben, so dass wir unseren Aufenthalt hier sogar verlängert haben. Das Zimmer ist schön, hat eine AC und ist sehr sauber. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Über ihn konnten wir auch sofort einen Scooter mieten! :) das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr lecker! Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen :)

De host zijn echt super aardig en behulpzaam. Komen altijd even een praatje maken bij het ontbijt die trouwens echt heel lekker is. De locatie is perfect en overal dichtbij. Echt een aanrader!

La maison est très confortable et le petit déjeuner est top . Nous avons pu louer une voiture par le bias de la guest , réceptionné la bas et rendu à l aéroport . L hôte est vraiment très gentil et adorable . Nous reviendrons sans hésiter .

Great space!

Very clean rooms and nice rooms, hot water shower, just 10 minute walk to the beach.

Electricity was not strong enough to keep a light and the ac on, not sure if that’s a problem of the property or the city.

Great location between Hiriketiya and Blue beach island with a short walk to both. Delicious breakfast served every morning and comfortable clean room with AC! Would highly recommend :)

Kamer met airco, fijne badkamer. Tassen konden we na het uitchecken nog wel een paar uur achterlaten, maar gewoon buiten in de tuin. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Dicht bij het strand.

Ontvangst was niet gastvrij. De host was moeizaam te vinden of te bereiken. Geen openbaar toilet beschikbaar na het uitchecken. Geen flessen water aanwezig op de kamer, kraanwater bij het ontbijt.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk, de gasteigenaar was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie, schone, grote kamers zeker voor de prijs die je krijgt. Werkend warm water en airco of een ventilator. Fijne droogrekken buiten.

Een kamer heeft een ventilator maar geen klamboe of gaas voor het raam. Dat zou wel fijn zijn. Ook zouden hier nog wat haakjes aan de muur kunnen om spullen aan op te hangen, maar dat is bijzaak. Verder ligt het een beetje op een heuveltje dus voor mensen die slecht te been zijn kan het was lastiger zijn. De tuktuk kan er wel komen.

Sehr sauber, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Sehr freundlicher gastgeber.

De kamer was netjes en heel schoon. De accommodatie zat op een rustige plek maar op loopafstand (10 minuutjes) van het strand en de drukkere straatjes. Elke ochtend kregen we een ander heerlijk ontbijt en de host was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ook heeft hij ons transfer naar mirissa geregeld.

A highly recommended new and excellent hotel. The rooms have good bathrooms and showers, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The staff member, Tharindu, is a hardworking, smart, and friendly guy. Everything we asked for was provided immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely return! Very comfortable, newly remodeled room in a quiet part of town, a short walk from the beach. Host was super accommodating, arranging my bus route onwards to Arugam Bay and taking me to the Dikwella bus stop himself.

Our host was amazing and the place was fantastic. Great food, great service and a great room.

The wifi dropped out a couple of times but nothing too bad at all.

The host was so sweet and friendly. The place was very clean and looked very new. Moreover, the location was great, everything was walkable!

Host Tharindu was very helpful and gracious and accommodated an extra breakfast for a friend at a reasonable fee. Great location close to all the key Hiriketiya outlets but out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Cosy room with all the key amenities as well as USB ports in the wall. Highly recommend to solo travelers, local or foreign, or duos. Would take some care if solo female due to secluded location but shouldn't really be a problem. Great cardio.

When we arrived, the place was really clean and you can tell that it is quite new! The room was as decribed. (Sri lankan) Breakfast was really really good and definitely a lot (almost enough for the whole day). Even it is not right in the Center, we quite liked the location, because its quite chilled and in the nature. Only a 5-10 minutes walk to Shops and everything.

Unfortunately there were a lot of insects coming to the room and bathroom. In the night some bigger animals (cats, monkeys, rats?!) were running on the roof, which made us startle a few times during the night.
