The staff was always very sweet, the breakfast although limited was ample and the facilities such as steam sauna , a dedicated Hamam a and an indoor pool aswell.

The gym and pool only open at 2pm that was honestly something the Hotel should put up clearly, I ideally want to use these before breakfast. That was a only let down.

Hice la propuesta de matrimonio para mi novia con coordinación por parte de Utopia y fueron súper especiales, me ayudaron con todo lo necesario y más. Hikmet fue espectacular anfitrión, y el resto del staff fue muy amable! Del hotel destaco el desayuno, la ubicación, las vistas, las habitaciones muy completas y cómodas, la que nos dieron era espaciosa y con todo lo necesario. Hikmet nos ayudó a coordinar diferentes tours, y en nuestro caso particular fue muchísimo más allá de lo esperado con tal de tuviésemos todo a la mano y fácil.

The room and the staff

Locatie was uniek. Behulpzaamheid van personeel was absoluut TOP. Service with a smile. Kamers waren ruim en cute. Eten in restaurant was heel lekker. Eten in het bar was ook erg lekker. Wij hebben een heerlijk tijd gehad in Utopia hotel. Ik zou het zeker aanraden. En ik zou zelf ook zeker nog eens terug komen.

Twee puntjes voor verbetering; de meneer bij de wellness zwembad was niet perse vriendelijk voor onze tieners die na een dag activiteiten even gebruik wilden maken van het zwembad. Daar was het niet voor bedoeld. Het verstoorde wellness sfeer. En nog een opvallendheid. Kwaliteit van brood bij het ontbijt was matig. Verder was het eten heel goed.

The location and the hotel's appearance is beautiful. The builders have created an amazing labyrinth of rooms with passages that connect the caves to corridors and outdoor balconies. Each time we returned to the hotel it was a wonderful challenge to find our way back to our room. We could also walk down to the closest town and dine at local Turkish restaurants and watch the locals.

Don't know where to start. On arrival, we were advised that we had been upgraded to a Topkapi suite. I booked and paid for a Topkapi suite, so I thought they must have mistaken who we were. A Topkapi suite has two rooms - one with a king bed, a private balcony(see photo with our suitcase showing how small the balcony was), a sitting room and a hot tub. We had to climb up an incredibly steep set of steps to discover that the second room had been setup with another 4 beds, that furniture had been removed from this room and relocated to the king bedroom blocking the access to the wardrobe, that the bathroom had toiletry supplies for 5 people, that the writing desk was jammed pack with supplies for 5 people, that we could not sit on the couch and watch the TV as it had been converted into a bed, I started thinking..... okay this room was setup for a group of 5 and for whatever reason, they had declined the room and taken ours. The caves are designed so that the air funnels upwards, and on our first night the kitchen's exhaust system vented into our room, and the smell was overwhelmingly sickening. From 2am onwards the cooking smells were over powering. We saw tradesman the next day working on the rooftop venting panels, so we suspected that something had broken down. At breakfast the next day, I was amazed at how extensive the buffet was, and took some small pancakes. They were old. I then took a small danish, and it too was old and stale. Over the next few mornings I noted that although the breakfast was extensive, they just kept putting out the same old food. We eat sparingly from the buffet - so it was very disappointing. The hotel accommodates large tour groups, and they all have breakfast at the same time, so you get pushed and jostled as these package tour people frantically eat their breakfast, so that they can all get on the tour bus, to be driven around as many sites as possible in the one day. We tried to raise our concerns, but the staff blanked us.

I came here with my family and boyfriend and truly had an amazing time. Hikmet and his staff were wonderful, attentive and accommodating to all our needs. They made a delicious cake for my sisters birthday, and set up a very cute romantic bed display with wine for our anniversary.

Очень крутой сервис и обслуживание! Консьерж просто бесподобен - каждый день по 2 раза писали нужна ли какая то помощь. Была годовщина свадьбы - доставили цветы по моему специальному заказу - сделали трансфер на майбахе- все во время! В спа даже с ре неком пустили хотя в Турции мало где это делают.

Менеджер не пустил ребенка 8 лет в сауну, но потом разрешили вместе вс родителями так что все ок!

Everything was amazing, the staff were very caring asking us if we need anything or if there was something to make our stay better. We ended up doing a balloon ride that the hotel organised, as well as a Turkish hamam experience which was incredibly relaxing and professional. The pool and spa are very clean and the restaurants (yes there are multiple) were great. I fully recommend this hotel, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Initially booked for 2 days but stayed 1 night longer. Hotel is in a quiet location with walking distance to the town center. Room we stayed in gives you a unique experience. Enjoyed the dinner at restaurant which has a nice view. Very professional staff, especially Hikmet who made the difference as he reached out within minutes after making the reservation in the evening and made sure that all our requests were fulfilled throughout our stay. He was honest and genuine with all his suggestions. We will come back for sure.

An excellent, truly authentic cave hotel! The service is outstanding — including valet parking, luggage handling, a complimentary fruit plate, and a manager who is both very friendly and extremely thorough in his explanations. The swimming pool is much larger than shown in the pictures, and there’s also a wonderful Turkish bath. The terrace is absolutely stunning — dining there while enjoying the evening breeze was such a unique and unforgettable experience. And especially the dinner (à la carte): every dish marked with a 🏅 was absolutely delicious!

Hikmet at Utopia Cave Cappadocia Hotel truly made our trip special. He was proactively in touch to confirm our arrival and ensure everything would go smoothly. He reached out before we even left home to help arrange transfers and answer any questions, which set a tone of thoughtful care from the very beginning :) During our stay, Hikmet’s explanations were clear and thorough, and his politeness and warm hospitality made us feel welcome and relaxed. Das Hotel ist wunderschön gestaltet und bietet eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet – man merkt, dass viel Wert auf Details gelegt wurde. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Kombination aus traditioneller Höhlenarchitektur und moderner Ausstattung. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und von guter Qualität. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums von Ürgüp war für uns ideal – man ist schnell bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber hat gleichzeitig seine Ruhe. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kleine Wünsche wurden zügig erfüllt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

The property was serene. The staff was very helpful and polite. Hikmat at the front desk was amazing. He helped us with last minute reservations for activities and everything that he planned was exceptional quality. He communicated throughout and was available for all concerns. I would love to revisit and will highly recommend Utopia to friends and family. Truly a 5 star experience!!

Il vient régulièrement s'assurer si tout va bien, si nous avons besoin de quelque chose, tout en étant discret. Il vous organise toutes vos activités pour que l'on puisse en profiter sereinement et sans stress. Nous n'avons jamais vu cette qualité d'attention ailleurs. Ensuite, l'hôtel est juste magnifique ! Il possède pleins de recoins, de niveaux, de vues différents où l'on peut se poser tranquillement. Les chambres dans les caves sont luxueuses et très confortables. Tous les jours, il y a des petites attentions dans les chambres. Pour nous, de loin le plus bel hôtel que nous avons vu sur Urgup !

S'il y a juste un petit bémol pour nous le rapport qualité / prix du restaurant de l'hôtel est un petit peu élevé. Mais cela reste notre avis.

We had an amazing stay at Utopia, and would highly recommend the hotel. The whole hotel is stunning and great attention to detail has been made to ensure that all the facilities are high quality - we loved the spa and wellness centre. Our room was also prepared beautifully and cleaned on a daily basis. The staff made the whole experience definitely feel worthy of 5 stars, especially Hikmet the guest manager who arranged all our trips and was incredibly welcoming & helpful - answering any questions at all times of the day. Hikmet, unser Host, war einfach super! Schon vor der Anreise hat er uns kontaktiert, um zu wissen ob wir Hilfe benötige (Shuttle, Aktivitäten etc.). Als es mir nicht gut ging, hat er unsere Aktivitäten ohne Probleme geändert und war sehr zuvorkommend! Wir bekamen sogar ein Zimmerupdate weil es unsere Hochzeitsreise war. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem! Das Restaurant war spitze! Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, a la Cart-Essen war sehr gut! Personal war immer sehr freundlich und jeder wollte uns einen guten Aufenthalt sicher stellen. Wir bekamen sogar ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk und besser hätten unsere Flitterwochen nicht sein können!

Personale gentilissimo, buona posizione a 10 min a piedi dal centro e comodo per l’automobile. Cibo alla carta molto buono anche se prezzo un po’ sopra la media. Camera molto bella e pulita, dotata di ogni comfort.

La colazione era buona ma non incredibile: vasta scelta di salato (alcune cose più buone, altre meno), poca scelta per il dolce. Inoltre sarebbe stato bello se di giorno in giorno avessero variato. Io che faccio colazione dolce potevo scegliere solo tra pancake, cornettini e una torta (sempre la stessa ogni giorno), quindi mangiavo decisamente poco. Inoltre bella la spa, ma non abbiamo utilizzato la piscina perché era sui 26º e dunque non molto calda. Sarebbe stato bello rilassarsi in una piscina calda e confortevole, magari anche con zona idromassaggio. Confidiamo possano migliorare!

I liked the friendly attitude of the staff. They made me feel welcome and responded to all my request. Big thank you to Hikmet who not only arranged a fantastic tour but also got us a discount. He offered to upgrade my room when told him that sofa bed was not so comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay. Every member of staff greeted us and helped us (when needed). They were happy and smiley people. The hotel was beautiful.The breakfast, dining and bars were all really delicious with lits of choices and The Spa staff and services were also lovely. We could not fault a thing.

Apetecible para quedarse tiempo en el hotel. He visto críticas sobre el nivel de su desayuno…no lo entiendo, no sé a qué están acostumbrados las personas que critican la variedad y calidad del desayuno. No creo que pueda ser mejor calidad precio. Volvería y lo recomiendo.

Good hospitality and nicely managed hotel.

Far from city centre but its a very beautiful cave hotel and for vegetarian breakfast options are very limited.

What an experience, the hotel was stunning, the staff were fantastic. The hotel was even better than I thought it would be. The only downside was as I went in the off season the gym and spa was being renovated but the price of my booking reflected this. It just would have been great to get told that before I arrived as I needed gym access.

L'hôtel est certainement l"un des plus beaux d'Urgup. Je suis restée dans différents hôtels en Kappadokia notamment sur Göreme, mais j'ai vraiment apprécié l'Utopia Cave Cappadocia et j'y retournerai sans aucun doute.L'emplacement est très bien. La chambre est spacieuse et très bien équipée. La literie super confortable. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Le restaurant est très bon. La terrasse est superbe et le bar au top.L'accueil est vraiment super et le personnel très agréable et très serviable. Mention spéciale à Hikmet qui nous a très bien conseillé et d'une très grande gentillesse. Vous venez en voiture ? Pas de souci. L'équipe de l'hôtel se charge de la garer. Je recommande vivement.
