Teyra Lodge

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Exceptional cleanliness! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a calm, welcoming atmosphere — beyond our expectations. No disturbances at all, and all necessary amenities were provided. The owners were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady owner, who arranged everything we needed without delay. Breakfast was arranged on request, and it was delicious, with a well-prepared English breakfast. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

Very calm in the nature, modern room and facilities, bed super confortable. If youre looking for a calm break from the city with privacey its perfect.

Very nice and helpful family, even let me store my large suitcase with them after I left. Always were there to help. Very clean / modern, with a small kitchen and new looking bathroom. Quite area a bit outside Galle but close to the hospital.

All good! A fridge would have been nice to have

Lovely hosts with great communication. Very helpful with all of our questions and needs. Sorted laundry for us too.

Location is a bit off the beaten track but we needed to be near the hospital so that worked for us. Not much walkable things around

Comfortable and well equipped

very clean room and friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay at Teyra. I was warmly welcomed by the owner, her son and mother. I immediately felt relaxed, safe and at home. The room is separate from the main house by going up some stairs but connected which was great as I had privacy but the family nearby. I stayed due to it's close proximity to the hospital as I had a very early appointment but I would be happy to stay if I was visiting Galle again. The neighbourhood seemed peaceful and I was able to securely park my bike in the garage. The room exceeded my expectations. Everything felt very new, clean and fresh. It was actually a mini apartment which was a nice surprise. A small, functioning brand new kitchen and brand new bathroom attached to the bedroom. There is a small outside balcony, a smart tv and AC. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Communication was great and the hosts were very accommodating.

I wish I could have stayed longer! There was no hot water for the shower but the host explained they had only finished the room 2 months ago and the hot water shower is coming. So if that's important just ask before as by the time you read this it may already have been installed

I really liked the quiet neighborhood; it made the stay very peaceful and relaxing
