Very good price for what youre getting, hosts were lovely and their puppies were incredibly cute. Breakfast was amazing

Bathroom was a bit dirty

Desayuno magnífico y delicioso. La dueña era muy agradable y simpática. La habitación y el baño estaban muy limpios. Tuvimos una estancia perfecta.

Le couple est très sympathique. La maison est tout prêt du fort tout en étant un peu en retrait au calme. La gare de train ( et de bus), est à 10 minutes à pieds (13 avec un sac à dos très lourd). Dans la maison, il y a une chienne, son chiot extrêmement beau et très câlin, et un magnifique chat.

Les odeurs, peut être dues au canal qui est derrière. La promiscuité, mais pour beaucoup ce serait un point positif, l’occasion de découvrir la vie d’une famille de l’intérieur. Personnellement je le fais en montagne ( Tibet/ Népal/ Ladack) parce que je n’ai pas le choix, mais au Sri Lanka, j’aime bien avoir mon intimité. Tout dépend de notre personnalité en définitive.

Bij het beoordelen van dit guesthouse heb ik een dubbel gevoel. Waarschijnlijk is het hun enige bron van inkomsten, maar aan de andere kant is het verblijf erg basic en verhuren ze zelfs hun eigen slaapkamer.

Op basis van mijn indruk kreeg ik bovendien het gevoel dat het beddengoed niet echt gewassen werd. Er is één wc en douche voor het hele huis, waardoor het meer aanvoelt als een gedeeld huis dan als een echt guesthouse.

Ottima posizione, a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, proprietari davvero gentilissimi e super disponibili. Ottima colazione. Si é in un ambiente familiare.

De locatie was prettig, op loopafstand van het fort. De eigenaresse was vriendelijk en maakte een lekker ontbijt voor ons klaar.

Nettes Zimmer bei einer sehr netten Familie mit guter Ausstattung. Wir hatten den Bonus eines viermonatigen Welpen im Haus. Simpel, aber vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unsere beste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka

The staff is nice and responsive. If you need the minimum for just 1 or 2 nights this will suit you.

It made us a bit uncomfortable because we slept in the bedrooms of our hosts... Some on them were sleeping on the floor in the living room. Be aware that there are dogs in the house.

Nestled away in the sleepy backstreets of Galle, a picturesque and very short walk from the train station and the old town fort, you’ll find this lovely mother-and-daughter homestay. You’ll feel at home right away (they’d just welcomed puppies into the family the day before I arrived). Very good for the price; homemade breakfast was delicious.

The room exceeded my expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean and spacious. I booked a double bedroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as a fan and high-speed Wi-Fi. Here there, mom and daughter run this place. They are very friendly and kindness. And the breakfast, it's so delicious and taste full. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I highly recommend this room for anyone seeking home stay experience and quality."

Breakfast was nice.

The house owner lady charged me more than the booking amount even including tax. I didn’t realise it until I was already at the railway station. I wish she could have been more honest.

The Host is very nice and down to earth . She is always nice towards a traveller . Her story was sad . She is living happy with her daughter .
