For that price it was very good. The room size was ok for one person, the bed was very good and the stuff was very friendly.

Camas muy incómodas (duras, con muelles), muchísimo ruido proveniente de una maquina del propio hotel, teníamos que subir a la zotea a bajar los plomos todas las noches para poder dormir. En los 5 días que estuvimos no entraron a limpiar la habitación y cambiar las sábanas/toallas ni una sola vez

Very clean, pleasant newly renovated bathroom, has AC, a fridge. But the best thing about this place is the staff and especially dear mr. Syed!! Awesome and funny man.

Wonderful location in a charming lively neighborhood. Near metro and walking distance to the sights. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfy and quiet overlooking an interior courtyard.

Nothing to mention. Will be staying here again next time I am in Istambul.

Everything was great, starting with the receptionist who was very kind with us and gave us a lot of recommendations, and ending with the facilities in general.

The area was super good. Near a lot of tourist attraction. You can walk and the staff at the hotel were super nice as well.

A hotel located in a very good area, the staff is very friendly, they give you a lot of help, super helpful. The room is spacious and it is definitely worth staying there. I would definitely return :)

I liked the hotel room a lot. Also, the staff were really nice. Especially Syed and Amol. They helped me with the cruise booking and also with the taxi to the airport. I enjoyed staying there.

I was there as a couple. Unfortunately, the environment is very dirty and feels incredibly unsafe. Furthermore, our room was on the 3rd or 4th floor - all without an elevator. You have to let the reception know when you want the room cleaned. Although there is a 24 hour reception desk, there is no phone in the room to call. This means that you have to walk all the way down and back up again. There was a lot that was very lacking. The staff are friendly - that's about it with the positive.

Personnel was very nice and helpful. kept our luggage after checkout. the room was good. restaurants and shops are nearby. And there is a mosque at 30m for prayers.

the hill up to the tram station was not a good start to the day in hot conditions. but we found an easily accessible bus station (BN1) to eminonu near the hotel

Great service, location and cleanliness. Overall really good experience, ample advice and help from the staff which made our first time in Turkey smooth. Had a lot of baggage that they helped get up to the room.

Great strategic location in a local area but 20min from main sights , free water and tea and helpful receptionist

Mosque nearby so every morning you will have the pray alarm clock, Asian shower ( not plate or curtain and no water broom to dry the toilet), 4niggt they never cleaned the room and we had to ask for new towels .

Great location, lovely staff/ owners and just what we required for four day stay. Cracking views.

Annoyed that we were on the fifth floor ( no lift) without info telling us on booking. Very noisy with seagulls on the roof causing mayhem in the early hours of the morning. Kitchenette was very poorly equipped. But we enjoyed our stay as these negatives didn't get in the way of our enjoyment. Other people be warned.

Very kind and polite staff, good beds, good shower. Best price. 10 minutes by walking to the sea coast and social cafeteria, 25 minutes to the very center.

We spent 3 night at Tavra Hotel, it was really good. Not far from the city center and really close to a nice place with a lot of really nice restaurants. There are a lot of cafes nearby, there's also a bus station and it's few minutes walk to Grand Bazaar. The room had a good AC, TV and Hairdryer Everything was great. Thank you again Zahid.

The location was very nice! Quite close to the old city center, so we had no trouble going around and sightseeing during our stay. Only be wary that because this location is close to the coast, I had to walk downhill quite a bit from inland, and am not looking forward to going back up with our luggage haha The place was very clean and great, contrary to the streets we passed by on our way here. I was worried because the area looked a bit shady, but inside the hotel was very clean, well furnished, and the staff very hospitable. One of them offered to help me carry a luggage up the stairs, and while planning the day at the lobby after checking out at noon, offered us coffee/tea. I think we got our money's worth of a stay, as the hotel room wad very clean, tidy and kept well. Didn't notice anything dusty, had bottled water, tea and coffee mix prepared for us, refrigerator, closet with blanket in it, soap/shampoo & hair dryer in the small bathroom; the air conditioning was availableas well, though we forgot to use it.

Just a minir inconvenience. I remember seeing other reviews about some leaky faucet and such, and unfortunately the room I booked had that problem. The shower and the rest of the bathroom wasn't separated by any scaffolds or anything, so we had to be careful a bit about the water splashing towards the toilet and sink. I just left the towels and clothed right outside the bathroom, where a drawer is placed very conveniently for that usage I think. Fixing these minor points would make the stays perfect and satisfactory for everyone, but overall I think this place is totally worth the money and would come back again in the future!

We stayed during 2 nights and were fully satisfied by room. İt was clean enough, had air conditioner, small fridge, kettle and small compliments from hotel - tea and coffee. Everything as described. Unfortunately wi-fi worked with interruptions, but it didn't bring us a big trouble. Workers of hotel were very pleasant and helpful. Location is good, very close to a lot of activities, but be ready to see streets of not-touristic Istanbul and a lot of refugees.

The staff is really gentle and helpful specially Zahid and Sayed ,, i would like to say thank you so much for the great service Zahid,, i was feeling like am home , the facility is good , quiet and clean , it’s also in a good location a walkable distance to the areas of interest.i will choose it again if i ever came to Istanbul once again.

Only one thing , that the house keeping is not daily but every 3 or 4 days. maybe as a little advice you can increase the frequency of the cleaning of the rooms.

Excellent staff very welcoming, neat & tidy . very well managed and so helpful and trained specially Hotel Manager Mr Hilal and his colleague. All main attraction points are very accessible like blue mosque, aghia sophia , gulhanay park & yes breakfast available on request by paying little amount.

Not recommend at all. Toilet was horrible, wifi not worked, no lift so you have to go all the top of 8th floor. After complaining about the problems no responses from the person on the duty. Never want to stay there. Einfach schlecht.

There was no breakfast, we were told we had to pay separately for breakfast. The customer service guys were great , it’s unfortunate the location and address on booking.com not very helpful . We had to walk for about 30mins since taxi could not easily access the place . The bathroom and toilet were today hence when you bath it floods to the toilet area. The entire set was not practical at all . We are extremely disappointed with the location and the room . Not comfortable at all , it felt like a cave not luxurious cave . In general I want to know how they got a rating of 8 on booking.com . I feel scammed by that .

Great Location! it's only a minute to super lively area with tons of restaurants and sheesha bars. We came to the hotel in at 5 am and the hotel was closed. We knocked and somebody opened and checked us in. The room was clean, but it was only one set of towels (it was two of us that were travelling) but we get the other set next day. There is a little kitchen but without a stove so it is not really usefull.

Close enough to train and parts of old city. Good value for money.

Pro: Das Personal war freundlich und hat (meistens vergeblich) versucht bei Problemen zu helfen Contra: Die Zimmer sind hygienisch und technisch in einem miserablen Zustand: - Die Klimanalage stinkt nach dem Einschalten - Die Schranktür fällt bei Berührung nach innen in den Schrank - Die Ablage unter dem Fernseher hängt nur noch an zwei von vier Schrauben schräg an der Wand - Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind schmutzig, mit braunen und gelben Flecken. Wenn man nach sauberer Bettwäsche oder Handtüchern fragt, kriegt man frisch gewaschene, aber ebenso fleckige Wäsche angeboten - Es stinkt aus den Abflüssen im Bad - Der Toilettendeckel bleibt nicht offen stehen und muss bei Benutzung der Toilette festgehalten werden - Im Bad Schimmel zwischen den Fliesenfugen - Am Boden läuft Wasser aus der Toilette in die Dusche

There were plates and cuttlery, minifridge, very useful. Room was clean and nice. We only stayed for a night.

The staff of the hotel was very kind, understanding and helpful. Communicating with them (in english) was very easy and reactive (from the moment i made the reservation). They arranged a car transfer to us from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. We liked how clean the room and the hotel was during our week there. The room had almost everything we needed. Also, the neighborhood of the hotel was nice and you can reach everything there. For transportation, there's a bus station (kumkapi) three minutes away and a metro station (Beyazit) ten minutes away.
