Było duszno, ale to nie jest wina obiektu tylko zaskakująco wysokich temperatur w sierpniu. Było trochę głośno od trzaskających drzwi na klatkę schodową i skrzypiącej podłogi.

sehr ringhörig, lärmende Jugendgruppe im oberen Stock auch nach Mitternacht noch sehr gut hörbar. Spartanisch eingerichtete Zimmer, wenig Ablagefläche, für 1 Nacht vollkommen i.O., für längeren Aufenthalt mässig ideal.

I really do believe that a YHA should be affordable, and I dont feel that this hostel is sadly. Especially as a 1 night turn around arriving late and leaving fairly early means it's a bed, and £50 doesn't sit well with me in the spirit of a hostel.

It is overpriced. There are very few shower facilities for the number of people using the shared bathrooms. There was an electrical fault in our room, which meant that an emergency light was on very brightly all night. When I mentioned this in the morning, they immediately seemed to know what it was, which makes me think this may be a recurrent issue. The breakfast is reasonably priced, but the quality of the sausages was very poor. I had a burger in the evening and, although it was tasty, it was a very thin (almost like a McDonald’s) burger.

Reviewed May 30, 2026This was our first time staying in YHA accommodation despite staying in Keswick 20+ times before, for the three nights we wanted this was the most reasonable priced and we decided to “brave it”, honestly we were blown away. The rooms were clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed, the communal kitchen was so useful and clean and the bar area had a fantastic view, staff were so friendly, the food yummy and reasonably priced and the access to games etc on an evening a real bonus. The location in Keswick is also absolutly brilliant. We will defiantly be back again.

Parking was a limited and google maps didn’t locate exact location. These were tiny faults compared to all the positive aspects.

Вікно в кімнаті не відчиняється, заблоковане, тільки невеличка щілина, тому, коли на вулиці тепла літня погода, кімната за день розігрувалась так, що не можливо було вночі заснути. Кімнати маленькі, тісні, зі старим ремонтом, бюджетними ліжками та матрасами. Сніданок також залишає бажати кращого. В приміщенні немає ліфта, тому потрібно враховувати, що валізи доведеться підіймати та спускати вручну по крутих сходах декілька поверхів. Загалом ціна не відповідає якості, не рекомендую. Приміщення не має власної парковки, паркуватися потрібно на вулиці поряд, де дозволяється до 8 ранку.

I booked for two hoping to cycle for the weekend The trains after booking announced it would be buses from.preston. I wasn't sure that myself.and partner.would.get.our bikes on the bus and tries to cancel as.a.result. The staff.to.give .a discount or offer to rebook over 100 quid charged... Not.happy.about the values of.the yha on this occasion
