we was supposed to stay with 2 Pax. Luckily I was alone, because the size of the Beds are not suitable for two tall Guys. Only normal Double Size Beds, definitely not working for two….

Nothing. It is in a relatively remote corner of the Robertson grid network but most people staying will have a car and the property lends itself to relaxing evenings enjoying the facilities as opposed to heading out and about in Town

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Wow. Having the house all to ourselves was incredible!!! And what a beautiful place! Everything you need, be it in the kitchen, your room, bathroom or outdoors… the location was perfect, and our host was very helpful. I will definitely recommend this place!!!

Reviewed May 21, 2025Literally everything. The garden and pool were pretty and relaxing. The home was so inviting and beautifully put together. We lacked for nothing; our every need catered for. All four bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, all spacious with tasteful decor and super-comfortable beds. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and a pleasure to work in. I cannot recommend Hygge House highly enough.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2025Exceptional stay with all the facilities you could hope for. Aircon in every room, backup power, spotlessly clean, Hygge House is really lovely.
I don't have any negative comments. If I had to say something, the rusks weren't my favourite, but the coffee provided was delicious and fresh, so it made up for it.

Braai facility could be altered to allow for varying heights and some form of power for the outside area would also have added to the lovely property..just nice to plug in a speaker or charger etc

the host was very rushed and not very friendly We didn’t get given a choice of room The main bedroom has a very small bed which could not accommodate 2 people The en-suite shower had a drainage problem and took a long time to drain Window in the en-suite was not glazed and sun shines through from Early hours There was an Ant problem in the kitchen. They were crawling around the tea cups We left the property one day earlier even Thow we payed for 2 night and owner did not compensate or answer her phone after attempt to call her .
