The chilled atmosphere, access to what felt like a private beach and the kitchen facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Great location - Perfect place to relax and reset after arriving in Sri Lanka.

Nothing we didn’t like. We chose the non-aircon room so it was hot at night - but not the property’s fault!

Nous sommes arrivées en pleine nuit après notre vol et notre hôte nous a très bien accueillis. La chambre était propre et calme. La proximité du bord de mer est incroyable, nous avons pu nous baigner.

Nothing special, but you will probably stay in Negombo only one night so It does the trick. Price is okay, clean, water refill available. Access to the beach.

Not a social place, so if you're a solo traveller and choose this place for your first night in Sri Lanka and want to meet people to travel with I'd say it's not the best option. The bed was not comfortable. 10 minutes walk from the restaurants, I had no problems but I reckon someone might feel a bit uncomfortable walking back in the dark after dinner.

La salida a la playa. Lo amistoso que era el tipo, se le notaba muy buena persona.

Estaba un poco alejado de lo que viene a ser negombo. Si vas has de tener en cuenta que tendras que andar mucho o pedir transporte.

It was clean, actually on the beach, excellent wifi throughout all premises, easy transport from/to airport and around Srí Lanka, close by shopping and plenty restaurants

Un hôtel plein de charme et de simplicité, dans une petite ville magique, où beaucoup de Saints sont représenté ! Le jardin est la plage, et les propriétaires y sont vraiment serviables et accueillants ! J'ai vraiment adoré cet endroit ! Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour !

La guesthouse est bien placée au bord de la mer. La nuit on entend les vagues . c'est très agréable Le personnel est accueillant La chambre est confortable et bien éclairée Petite terrasse avec sièges et table devant la chambre Bon WiFi

La guesthouse est très bien ..mais bien qu'elle soit au bord de la mer... Le rivage est très sale. Décharge à ciel ouvert...il faut donc marcher pour avoir une plage propre avec des restos sur la plage C'est dommage..mais la guest house n'y peut rien

Der Host hat nachts extra auf uns gewartet, hat uns am ersten Tag mit dem Tuk Tuk in die Stadt gefahren und unsere Weiterfahrt mit dem Taxi koordiniert - er hat uns dadurch unseren Start auf Sri Lanka sehr erleichtert :)

Che meravigliosa scoperta questo ostello! La posizione perfetta e ciò che mi ha colpita di più è stato il calore umano che si respira ovunque. I proprietari sono persone genuine, accoglienti come vecchi amici, sempre pronti con un sorriso, un consiglio sincero e quell'amicizia spontanea che rende un semplice soggiorno un ricordo speciale. Mi sono sentita subito a casa, coccolata da un'atmosfera familiare che scalda il cuore. Lo consiglio a chiunque cerchi non solo un letto, ma **persone vere** che fanno la differenza. Cinque stelle meritatissime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

Die Unterkunft lag direkt am Strand und in der Nähe von einigen Restaurants, was super war. Für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung.

Das Zimmer ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und sieht leider nicht mehr ganz wie auf den Bildern aus.

Dana był niesamowite gościnny i super miły! W pokojach wspoldzielonych były wygodne i czyste łóżka, woda do picia, szafki zamykane na kluczyk oraz klimatyzacja, o co na Sri Lance ciężko ;) Łazienka z ciepła wodą! Mydłem i szamponem a nawet z aloesem gdy słońce spali Ci skórę! Do plaży było dosłownie 10 metrów, furtką wychodząc prosto z tarasu hotelu. Zapytajcie o safari łódka, dostępny jest również transport na lotnisko a także inne pokoje gościnne z podwójnym łóżkiem i klimatyzacja. Zwiedziłem wiele hosteli i hoteli ale ten był najlepszy w jakim bylem! Polecam gorąco!

El alojamiento está justo al lado de la playa, abres la puerta y ves el mar y la playa, literal al lado, invaluable. Además es una zona tranquila y céntrica a los servicios y la calle principal (a 1 minuto). Son amables y relajados, tiene una pequeña cocina que puedes usar, mesas y pufs para hacer vida social. Las habitaciones eran cómodas con mosquitero

I could not expect so much for such a cheap price, honestly there is something you cant pay with money, and thus is the value of the people I the warm, the quality of attention and the availability for everything, I got sick while I was there and Dana and his father , they didn't made me feel alone for not even 1 second.as alone traveler, it's so nice to don't feel alone specially when you are sick, they made more than I could ask for make me feel better. The place is just in front of the sea and 3 minute walking by the good restorants street

I book room based off reviews that it was clean. There are two types of accommodation. Newly renovated and really clean. Then the cheaper old accommodation that is full of ants and many other bugs. If staying, don’t take the cheap room. You will be regretting it for days.

Such lovely homestay. This was our first stop on our trip and the father and son (owners) made us feel super welcomed and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They allowed us to drop our bags off four hours before check in (due to our flight times), and then drove us to, not only the bus station but, the exact bus we needed to get to our next destination!! Thank you Flexi lodge 🥰

Sinceramente el alojamiento era muy cutre. Es cierto que tiene buen precio, pero nos hemos alojado en otras ciudades de sri lanka por el mismo precio e infinitamente mejores

Estaba muy viejo, y nuestra habitación no cerraba la puerta. Suerte que solo estuvimos 5 horas porque nuestro avion era muy temprano, porque sino no hubiesemos podido salir de la habitación sin poder cerrar con llave

Das war unser erster Stop nach einem langen Flug und es war leider nicht so wie erwartet.

Gelsen überall, die Matratze sehr dünn und dementsprechend sehr hart. Man hat sich leider sehr unwohl gefühlt.

Struttura a pochi passi dal mare e dai locali (bar, ristoranti etc) Personale gentilissimo e super accogliente La stanza è molto carina

Basic but brilliant. Lovely staff and great welcome to Sri Lanka

Right by the sea, you can hear it before you go to sleep. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge and tea pots to make a great cup of Sri Lankan tea. Useful to have a bicycle available for getting around the area easily.

Hard to think of anything, better lighting in the bedroom eg for reading in bed.

Owner and his dad are offered a great customer service to us. Beach Facing Property. Great view of beach and sea atmosphere.

I liked flexi lodge because I felt comfortable and welcome there. A great host, made me cups of tea and was always willing to have a chat or offer local advice. Free use of a bike was very handy. Good selection of eateries around. Right on the beach.

Lovely son and father, dropped us to the market on Sunday. Complimentary tea/ coffee. Cose to airport and beach. Great overnight stay.

This was a great place to stay! I really don't understand why the rating isn't higher. The place is amazing value for money. It's clean, comfortable, good service (also washing and airport drop off, breakfast on request) and most importantly amazing location directly next to the beach on a very quiet spot. Granted, it's not the most luxurious one. Touristy restaurants are within walking distance but if you go to the other direction, you will have local places with much better and affordable food. You really can't find anywhere else a more affordable location next to a almost private beach.

Not the most luxurious place but can hardly complain about this considering the price. Great value for money.

Nice and quiet position, near the sea, if you don't mind hearing the waves at night, that's the place. The room was very large, there was plenty of space to put my stuff. The bathroom was also very large. Not at all far from the airport, perfect if you arrive late or leave very early. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall I had the impression that it was a quiet area. I stayed only one night, so I can't really say that much :)

The beach is quite dirty, but I had no time to enjoy it anyway.

We had a good stay in Flexi Lodge. It was basic, but the price reflected that. Nice people and a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Super

Great guest experience from Flexi Lodge. They were most attentive to all my requests. I stayed in a budget room,simple & clean, with amazing access to the beach. Good location with all amenities around and some pretty special restaurants. Close to the fish market and lagoon which was a delight to see!

Would have liked to have used more of the outside space but consistent crows hovering overhead were pestering guests with food.

The lodge was well located close to the seaside centre of Negombo. You can easily walk to the centre or if you don't like to walk you can easily take a tuktuk. The beach is accessible through the backdoor.

We only stayed one night and we were actually glad. The stay is supercheap but it is price-quality also very cheap. The beds were not very comfortable and there were no blinds to darken the room so you will wake up early on the morning with little sleep because of the beds and noise from outside because the windows can not be closed due to the heat. If you don't mind about this then this stay is perfect for you.

I have stayed for 2 nights. This place has very good location, right on the beach and very peaceful. Friendly owners. I would like to stay there again

I stayed in Flexi lodge only one night, sadly it was fully booked after, otherwise I would stay longer. It is a simple place at the beach, bed was clean and it had a mosquito net. Very good value for the money and kind hosts. Will return back one day! :)

Perfect location by the beach to start our trip in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very kind and supportive and they helped us a lot to take the bus to Kandy. Perfect WiFi connection that allowed me to have important work meeting while traveling without any disruption.

This is a great little home stay ! The guest is so friendly and welcoming. Any questions you have, he will answer them. Would recommend this to any first time travellers to Sri Lanka ☺️

The owners are lovely, they help you in everything you need. They speak good english and try you feel like at home. The room has everything you need to sleep well and rest. You listen the ocean sound from the bed!it is amazing and relaxing!!!They lent me their bicycle and the umbrella for two days, prepare a coffee and help me with any doubt I had. It was very comfortable staying there and they made me feel like at home. Thanks🙏🫶

The place is very simple. For the price paid, its considered very good. The beach is just a back door away.

The door latches need fixing. It would be nice if the rooms had AC.

Good location on a side street to the main road, and just round the corner from a beautiful beach. Host was very friendly and helpful.

No balcony as listed in the description, just a shared patio/garden.

The host and other staff members were very accommodating for us after a long flight. The facilities were basic but worked perfectly, however it was obvious that they were in the process of remodelling each room one by one (ours been one that had not been remodelled).The stay is the best location in negombo, where it is was the most peaceful part of the city we found.
