We had been traveling around Europe for 40 days before arriving at Daltons and loved the fact that the accommodations were spacious and close to everything.

Prima appartement boven de leukste pub in Kinsale. Goed bed op de bovenste verdieping, geen last van het geluid van de pub. Erg genoten van de live muziek in de pub waar iedereen (waaronder veel locals) meezong en mensen spontaan ook zelf een lied zongen. Een van de weinige keren tijdens onze reis dat we dat meemaakten.

Great location in a great town.

No cooking facilities, apart from a microwave. Bathroom was extremely small. Could do with another mirror around the place.

Excellent location. Fabulous accomodation with queen and single beds, fan, kitchen with coffee machine, pids, chips, milk, water, chocolate. Lounge area with TV and great town view. Close to bars, cafes, shops.

Lots of steps if unstable.

Fantastic location in Kinsale, just 2 minutes walk from the bus stop from the airport, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and pubs! The apartment is well equipped with so much space. Frances and Colm were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Loved the location, couldn't have been any more central to everything. Colm met us to pass over the keys and was so friendly and welcoming! Lovely, cosy place to stay and everything you could want, was provided :)

The location

The location is great. The apartment was huge and the hospitality and welcome were so appreciated. Our host came to meet us and helped with the luggage..so appreciated after a stressful day travelling. The atmosphere in the bar was beguiling and the traditional Irish session is something we will never forget. Also the first round of drinks were offered as a complimentary gesture! Don't be put off by the fact that the apartment is directly above the bar...we heard nothing and slept like babies! Thank you Colm and Gertie! We wished we'd stayed longer..

Fantastic spacious apartment with lovely sitting room and kitchenette in a super central location. We stayed in the bar Monday evening for the music which was attended by locals who performed and tourists. It was really a great taste of Ireland. No parking on site but free car park at the library with no time restrictions. This is only a few minutes walk away.

Location was perfect right in the centre of Kinsale. The accommodation offered more than we were expecting with a lounge and kitchen as well. Frances was very helpful and this is reflected in the accommodation she provides

Had a small issue trying to gain access and obtain the keys but this wouldn't put us off returning which we would certainly do :-)

Fantastic location right in the heart of this gorgeous walkable little town. Free parking just 5 mins walk away. Friendly welcome, amazing spacious apartment with separate kitchen, living room, bathroom and upstairs bedroom spread across two levels. Private street entrance, gorgeous outlook over the colorful streets below and not at all noisy. Couldn’t beat the atmosphere and traditional Music in the bar downstairs, fabulous deli next door and loved everything about this stay.

If you know apartment is upstairs, all else is great!

Very spacious two floor apartment. Great location right in the centre of the town. Kitchen was perfect for two people, very comfortable sitting room. Bedroom on top floor was quiet even with crowds in the street below.

Location was great. The apartment was nice and spacious and the snacks, milk and water were nice touches. It was clean and had everything we would need (kettle, fans, towels etc).

The pillows need updating in a very bad way. Terribly uncomfortable and hard. The mattress could also use updating or at the very least a topper to add a little cushion. One of the white chairs in the living room was badly stained. There were 0 checkout instructions and 0 check-in instructions sent to us prior to arrival. We figured it out, but a little direction would've been nice.

Owners were superb, met us at the door and facilitated all our needs

It’s a good size apartment which sleeps 3 2 is better though Has a kitchen- coffee maker, kettle, microwave, kitchen, toaster. Modern Hosts put milk and water in fridge, tea bags, sugar, chocolate bars Colm arrived to meet us as we got out of taxi Friendly, helpful, middle of everything, no cabs needed

We wanted to have a different experience than a hotel which we prefer from time to time. The location was incredible and made things so easy once we were able to park off site. The kitchenette was very nice to have. We enjoyed hearing street noise but be advised this is above a bar and could potentially be loud at times. The bonus is nice cafes, restaurants and shops are within 2-5 minutes.

We struggled with the shower temperatures (extreme hot to cold, just found adjusting terribly challenging) and pressure making getting clean and rinsing my hair somewhat difficult. This bathroom layout would be very hard for larger people and there are lots of steps (fine for us...sharing for others).

Lovely welcome from the owner and brilliant location in town. Also the best Guinness in Kinsale!

Frances and Colm were both very nice and accommodating hosts. The location was great- walkable to everything. The layout was nice with the main living space on the second floor and bedroom on the third. It was spacious and the small touches made it feel like home. We definitely recommend going to the bar below for a pint and being there Monday evenings for amazing live music. We would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately my travel partner is very allergic to cats and animals. We did find upon arrival that this was a problem . We had asked for a pet free environment.

The location was excellent and we left our car by the library two blocks away for free. Walking distance to everything. And the bar had Trad music Monday so we got to witness the real deal when it came to traditional music and singing. The apartment was spacious, clean and felt like home.

The description stated the apartment contained a stovetop. We specifically rent apartments with a stovetop so we have the ability to cook in the apartment.

The apartment was very clean and had lovely comfortable beds they had a booklet to let us know times of buses which was a great help anything we needed was right on the door step

Location, location, location. Walked everywhere. The apartment was very well kept and clean.

Good luck finding parking. Only two lots in Kinsale with 24hr/free parking. Otherwise it's feed a meter every two hours. Also, the bathroom was on the 2nd floor while the bedroom was on the 3rd floor.

We enjoy staying at old properties full of character and at Daltons it is a lot of that. Perfect position, very convenient for everything.

Great place to stay in Kinsale! The hosts were easy to contact, The place was clean, comfortable and in a great location! With the windows open you will hear what's going on in the local establishments but we did not find that an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location in the centre of town. We found it quiet in the evenings - bedroom on the top floor.

Such a charming spot. We stayed at so many different places on our time in Ireland - the two nights in the apartment above Daltons Bar was by far the best one. Location is perfect and the bar felt like our home base. The price was reasonable and we felt like we had so much space- more than expected! Even though the Daltons were out of town the bar staff was very welcoming.
