I had a double room, which offered me a beautiful view of the neighbouring mountains. The bar offered delectable choices for nightcaps, as well. The staff were quite welcoming and very helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel was very well equipped and spotless.

The dorms are tiny but perfect for a couple of days if you are not planning to spend much time indoors.

Тишина и покой. Комфорт не а-ля Мариотт-отель, а минимальный приемлемый для тех, кто не парится о швейцарах, открывающих двери, о степени мягкости кровати, о прочем ненужном псевдокомфорте. Все там отлично, спокойно, благостно, рядом Готемба, в которую доехав на автобусе за 20 минут, сто процентов насладишься видами Фудзи-сана ( ну если только уж совсем не пасмурно будет)

Ничего не надо улучшать. Все и так хорошо.

宿泊費が安い。 個室でも箱根エリアの中ではかなり安い方でドミトリーだとさらに安く収まる。 併設バーもコスパ良く、何よりスタッフ(オーナーさん)が近場の美味しいお店や観光名所を沢山教えてくれるのであてのない一人旅にはうってつけでした。

お部屋の防音性はホテル等と比べて低いので少し気を使いますが、それは宿泊施設である以上当たり前なので特別に気になる点はないです。 シャワーやトイレ等は共用なのでそこが嫌な人にはお勧めできないです。

The building is old, but the shower and other facilities are clean. It is also very convenient, just a one-minute walk from the bus stop. The staff was friendly and caring. When he realized I hadn’t brought my passport with me, he was genuinely concerned and asked if everything was okay.

The shared space was very hot on warmer days. It was also a bit inconvenient because I had to go outside and change into my outdoor shoes every time I wanted to use the shared lounge on the second floor.

La chambre typique, équipée d'un petit frigo, la propreté des lieux aussi bien aux toilettes qu'à la douche, l'emplacement près des bus circuler dans hakone.

Absoluut prachtig uitzicht vanuit mijn geboekte kamer op de bergen. Er waren ook insectenschermen zodat je de ramen gewoon open kon doen. Koelkast en waterkoker in je kamer. Ik hoorde erg weinig van medebewoners.

De futon was wel heel erg dun, het voelde echt alsof ik op de grond lag. Ook was er iets bijzonders met de kranen dat er gelijk heel erg warm water uit kwam? Ook waren niet altijd handdoeken beschikbaar om je handen af te drogen bij de toiletten.

Loved the location being near the mountains and close to bus stops and other destinations.

The futon was a bit thin but that is what we expected anyway!

1階のドミトリーが飲食禁止なのは当然として、2階の共用ラウンジに行くのに外階段しかない。朝は雨だったが外階段用のサンダルもなく、朝食をとるのを諦めた。ぜひ工夫してほしい

マスターが気さくでバーも含め気持ちよく過ごせた。 立地がよく仙石原のいろんな場所に徒歩で行ける。 必要最低限のものが揃っており過ごしやすい。 ドミトリーが個室。

Decent stay for the price although we only stayed for the night. Paid 500 yen for parking. good and quiet location. Couldnt get to socialize with the folks as we had a time crunch but worth the money paid

Big room and slept on Tatami mats. Decor mimic as the japanese style rooms (paper like window coverings, etc). Shower facilities were great.

A bit confusing at first to find the accommodation, but once located, not a problem. Overall, good experience.

Los futones podrían haber sido un poco más cómodos. No hay mucho al rededor pero puede ser un plus o no, depende lo que se busque. No tiene toallas (hay que pagarlas extra).

Situé à 20-30 minutes du Lac Ashi , proche de la route panoramique et du Fijimi café

Aucun équipement : une bouilloire mais même pas un verre ou une tasse pour se faire une boisson chaude ! Les futons sont tellement usés qu’on dort vraiment par terre. Un seul cintre , franchement, pour ce que ça coûte ! Très bruyant puisque nous ne sommes séparés que par une cloison en bambou. Les lavabos en zinc avec le robinet haut = l’eau qui coule résonne et tout l’étage en profite ! Prévoyez vos serviettes, et si, comme nous, vous dormez au 1er, les douches sont en bas. Parking payant 500 yens par jour. Au final, à plus de 11 000 yens la nuit, le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas bon. Et la route à proximité qui complète la mauvaise ambiance.

無料駐車場と言われている場所に駐車したが５００円請求された、駐車場の条件、建物の横にある２台までは先着順で無料となっているのに質問しても回答なしで払いました。残念な対応でした。

L'ambiance, le bar et surtout le personnel ! Très accueillant et toujours de bon conseils. L'hôtel est situé proche de randonnée et d'une station de bus. J'ai vraiment passé un bon moment, je recommande vivement

タオルや歯ブラシに至るまでアメニティが有料です。共有シャワーにシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーソープがあるのみです。

Friendly staff, clean facility. Everything was modern and the showers were very nice.

The futon cushion on hardwood floor was a bit too firm for me. In the rooms with tatami mat floors I think I'm okay on a futon. But the individual bunk rooms have a solid floor. As well the wall partitions don't quite go to the ceiling so light from the hallway and neighbor rooms kept me up a little bit. But excellent value and good location.

Établissement vraiment basique

L'accueil de l'hôte a été assez froid. Nous avions reçu des infos disant qu'il y avait deux places de parking devant l'établissement, sur le principe du premier arrivé premier servi. La place était libre quand nous sommes arrivés mais l'hôte nous a demandé de déplacer la voiture quand même. Les serviettes ne sont pas fournies, les futons n'ont pas de surmatelas comme les autres auberges où nous avons dormi au préalable. Assez bruyant pendant la nuit. Il faut passer par un escalier extérieur pour accéder à la salle à manger, pas pratique quand il pleut. La salle est petite et ne dispose pas de poubelles ni d'évier, vous devez redescendre pour remplir la bouilloire et jeter vos déchets. Également aucun matériel pour cuisiner. Nous avons dormi dans des guest house pour moins cher et avec bien plus de confort et de convivialité.

Located just beside the Kintoki-Tozanguchi bus stop and right before the Mt Kintoki trail head. Host was super friendly and a cool bartender too. Shared bathroom and shower room but it were always clean when I used them. You will be sleeping on tatami and futon for this Japan experience !

Everything was clean. Amazing hot showers with heaps of room. Great location.

Futons are very uncomfortable. Limited sleep for our stay.

Check in was easy. Our host was lovely and helpful. The hostel is a few minutes walk to the bus stop. There is an excellent chemist/ shop close by and we ate at a lovely inn across the road from there. The hot showers were excellent and everything was very clean. The bar had a big range of drinks.

Our air conditioning was not working well. It would blow cold wind instead of heat up the room. We had to press it on/ off a few times for it to work. Therefore we slept in very cold conditions overnight after attempts to adjust the temperature failed. This was the only thing that made us score it down a bit. Otherwise would stay here again for sure- especially in a different season.

アットホームな雰囲気もあり、外国の方も多かったですが、あいさつで出来たりトイレやゴミ箱も整っており、快適に過ごせました。

残念とまでは思いませんでしたが、エアコンのフィルターランプが少し気になってしまいました。 タイミングだけだと思います。 その他は、リーズナブルで快適でした。

Beautiful location. Owner is extremely nice and speaks fluent English, his bar is also very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious for the price.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable for me but for the price it would be unfair to complain.

You kind of have your own private room. Good price too.

Unfortunately the sound carries in the place, so you can hear everyone in every other room. The private rooms and even in the separate dorm blocks. Ear plugs are always a must 😂

More hostel like so relying on other guests respect for the property. The futons are whilst traditional quite uncomfortable- and were significantly less filled than the ones we used elsewhere.

I really liked the bar in the nextdoor house, the bartender is very friendly and nice to talk to! Very cheap accommodation and very easy to get to from Shinjuku. I highly recommend this place!

Exceptionally friendly staff. Quiet, spotlessly clean hostel with a fun, friendly bar where nobody batted an eyelid when I bought one drink and sat on it while playing Scrabble with my sixteen year old son!

It would have been helpful to be able to find bowls and other eating utensils for the kitchen somewhere other than the bar.

Very clean and beautiful interior. The beds in the "dorm" are separated by wood plates, so that you can stand inside and have a lot of privacy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The "kitchen" equipment is a bit scarce (microwave, water boiler), but still a very good and cheap hostel for the location in Hakone. Would definitely recommend the hike to mount kintoki which you can start directly from the hostel.
