The room lights cannot off individually , the shampoo, body showers and the toilet paper quality is too low. We didn't aspects to have the top quality but the quality your prepare is totally not acceptable. Overall the facilities is below the average standard for this room rates.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Glad we went ahead for our trip! We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was wonderful—very warm, friendly, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They were always quick to respond and check in was very easy and hassle free. The location is fantastic too. Many of Melaka’s attractions, cafes, and restaurants are just a short walk away, which made exploring the city so convenient.

Turning on the AC did not go well. It took a lot of trial and error to get the units working. I contacted the staff and they were not helpful at all regarding this issue. The rainfall shower didn't work. Luckily we brought our own rope to string about to hang up the clothes after we washed them.

The only thing is that we would appreciate brighter lighting in the room, especially since we were getting ready for a wedding. For makeup preparation, we had to go outside the room due to the lighting. Other than that, everything was good. That’s the only area I think could be improved.

Reviewed May 11, 2026We are Australian living and working in Malaysia! Accommodation was very clean, and beds are so comfortable, has a great view of the pool and river! Couple of things that would make this property extremely awesome would be to have a selection of coffee and tea, and a small milk bottle in the fridge, for those staying one night, and a bigger one for plus one night! Close walk to Jonker Street and the vibrant weekend night Saturday market. We will absolutely be bringing other friends and family here

Just a few small things which could easily be fixed are, no hand soap on the bathroom vanity and the soap in the shower just didn’t smell nice at all.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026The apartment is beautiful, with a charming old-style interior and exterior design. The river view was lovely, and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, which feels more like a small terrace. The welcome water was a very nice (and thoughtful) touch after a long bus journey. Communication with the property management was fast and efficient. Having a washing machine was a big bonus, especially as it was already our third week in Malaysia. The location is excellent—just minutes away from all the main sights. We also really appreciated the ceiling fans. In many places in Malaysia, the AC blows directly onto the bed, but here we could turn it off at night and sleep comfortably with the fans.
The beds are not very comfortable, and after long days of walking we definitely felt it in our backs. While the master bedroom is lovely, the second bedroom feels quite uncomfortable—it has no windows and is very small, so it was hard to decide who would sleep where. On the second day, I found a huge cockroach in the bathroom (there is a hole near the door). There is a washing machine but no drying rack. The apartment was not cleaned properly—toothpaste and pieces of floss in the sink were quite unpleasant to see. There is also mold in the bathroom. I had read about a strange smell from the bathroom tap in previous reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise, though I suspect it might actually come from the body wash (it has a durian-like smell). As the apartment is more suited for short stays, guests usually don’t come fully equipped, so it was inconvenient not to have hand towels or any paper towels/cloth in the kitchen to wipe surfaces.

Pour un établissement d’un prix relativement élevé, on se serait attendu à quelques attentions supplémentaires : par exemple un plateau de courtoisie (café, thé, …), des accessoires de toilette (…), de l’eau chaude (elle était tiède), et un flexible de douche qui fonctionne correctement. C’est dommage… car à part ça l’appartement était super !

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026The bed was comfortable. We left a "shoebag", slippers and sneakers behind and the "management" helped us locate the items and send them to the guardhouse to be collected.
There was no handwash in the bathroom only the dispenser in the shower. There were no hand towels. The water in master bedroom 's bathroom didn't drain fast enough so you had to stand in the dirty water. Disappointing that there was no provision of tea or coffee. Would have been nice to have bedroom slippers provided as well.

For the apartment some suggestions : we would have preferred more towels and hand soap in the bathrooms. The rain showers don’t work. A cosy light ( to read) in the bed room is missing. Also in the kitchen no coffee machine and no real equipment to cook your own dinner. Also the communication with the organisation was not always easy : I had messages on booking to ask information I already gave via WhatsApp. Also check out time : on booking and here in Whatapp you told me at noon and than it was 11h30.

This is not an hotel, hence, we have no expectation of breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it especially if you are a family needing some space.

The residence itself is cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like extra beds and pillows provided for guests. What impressed us the most was the honesty and kindness of the owner and cleaner. After we checked out, we realized we had accidentally left behind our phone and car keys. Thankfully, they were safely kept and returned to us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location with trustworthy hosts!

All the sights were within walking distance, including that of the old town and its many fantastic restaurants and shops. Our two bedroom apartment was large and airy, with a good sized balcony. Contactless checking in was smooth although if needed we could message for assistance.

The view of Sungai Melaka was breathtaking and truly added to the experience. The location was superb, within walking distance to major tourist attractions and many great food spots. The host was extremely helpful, warm, and welcoming, providing outstanding hospitality throughout our stay.
