Somerset Pudong Riverside Shanghai is well kept accommodation facility, with very presentable, tuned up staff members. The only unsatisfactory thing is the room space and bed size relative to asking daily price.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Lokalizacja w miarę dobra, niedaleko stacja metra. Pokój czysty, obsługa bardzo miła, panie z serwisu sprzątającego dbaly o porządek. Ładny widok z okna i przestronny balkon.
Śniadania dostepne tylko od 7-10:00 i niezbyt różnorodne. Jak ktos przybyl na śniadanie przed 10:00 to mogl spodziewać sie już samych resztek. Słodkości i chleb wystawione na śniadaniu codziennie (przez 4dni pobytu) byly czerstwe. Bardzo ciężko bylo sie pozbyć sie wilgotności z pokoju, wiec wentylacja/klimatyzacja moglaby lepiej dzialac. Parownica do prasowania nie pomagała w pozbyciu sie wilgotności z powietrza, lepiej aby hotel na wyposażeniu miał zwykle żelazko niż parownice.

The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful, the apartment was spotless, spacious and very comfortable, and the food was excellent. The cleanliness and attention to detail were exceptional. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced this level of service and hospitality in Europe. Everything exceeded our expectations. Truly an outstanding experience!
Honestly, there is nothing negative I can say about this property. Everything was perfect during our stay.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Чистый номер, разнообразный и вкусный завтрак. Тихий район, рядом есть Старбакс, а так же 7-11, в котором можно купить все, что нужно. Стиральная машина на балконе.
1. Местоположение. Довольно спальный район, нет адекватных кафе, в основном прямо локальные забегаловки. Мы пытались там покушать, но было довольно не вкусно, в итоге мы все равно ездили в центр, благо это несколько станций метро. Но мы специально выбирали отель чтоб пожить именно в этом районе. 2. Депозит. При заселении с нас потребовали депозит. В целом частая практика, но как то обычно об этом предупреждают. Более того, это было нашей последней точкой назначение перед вылетом из Китая, мы просили вернуть депозит накануне вечером перед отъездом, что бы потратить их в городе, но нам отказали. Пришлось с пачкой наличных утром выезжать из отеля в аэропорт. Второй раз я наверное тут не остановлюсь.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026It is very very clean! The house keeping did a great job everyday! Room AC is wonderful! I really like the fact that the room has a lot of lighting switches, I can adjust according to your everyday mood. In the toilet, they also have a heating AC how thoughtful. I really like the breakfast, everyday they offer new hot meal options, western and eastern options available! I especially like the traditional eastern hot fried vegetables, they changes everyday according to the season. It was my everyday early wake-up motivation. The gym is small but was nice. Very good thing about this place is they have an underground parking! It was wonderful if you have local friends visit.
In the one bedroom suite’s toilet, the shower room has no light inside which is wired, you are basically showing in dark… the toilet has lighting but it was not enough to light up the shower room. Hopefully, they will have this fixed and improved. A spot light set up inside would be wonderful!

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Чистый отель в Пудуне очень недалеко от станции метро Xiepu Rd 14ой ветки. Район удален от исторического центра, но абсолютно безопасный и чистый, как и все остальные районы города, с кучей магазинов и всяких аутентичных местных едален и стритфуда неподалеку. Совсем рядом роскошная набережная с мягкими беговыми дорожками - шикарная опция для бегунов. Несмотря на дорогу рядом, в отеле тихо (машины в основном электрички). Вайфай быстрый, но, естественно, со всеми понятными ограничениями. Завтрак для азиатского отеля средней категории просто отличный, в меру разнообразный, уборка ежедневная без напоминаний, очень удобные подушки. Отель предоставляет средство для стирки (стиральная машинка стоит на балконе, перекладина для сушки там же, но в самой машинке есть режим сушки вещей. правда, цикл три часа, что не очень удобно, честно говоря). Шикарные подушки! Видела, что тут пишут о проблемах с нагревом воды. Мы таких проблем на себе не испытали - на двоих человек горячей воды хватало, чтобы друг за другом принять душ
Номер дабл with a view с доплатой за view смысла брать нет никакого вообще. Вид на реку все равно перекрыт в таких номерах зданиями. Наш view состоял из геометрически аккуратно выстроенных крыш близлежащих хрущей. Поэтому, вернувшись в город (мы уезжали в другое место на 10 дней) снова забронили этот отель, но уже просто обычный дабл без доплат В номере есть кухня с довольно толковым набором всего для готовки, при этом нет ни нормального обеденного стола (то, что там есть - это скорее компьютерный стол-встройка - неглубокая полоска вдоль одной из стен и один (один, КАРЛ!) стул. Так что, если берете этот номер, чтобы готовить, приготовьтесь есть стоя))) В небоскребе 2 лифта, иногда их приходилось ждать по 10 минут 90% персонала едва говорит по-английски, переводчик в их телефонах не спасает ситуацию никак Отпариватель для одежды, а также дополнительные вешалки (на которых сушится стиранная одежда) пришлось просить отдельно, хотя вроде логичные вещи для апартов со стиральной машиной

Facilities The facilities are modern, clean, quiet, well soundproofed, and air-conditioned. The hotel also has two gym rooms suitable both for aerobic exercise and strength training. Location The location is excellent. The hotel is close to the East Bund embankment, which is perfect for jogging, walking, relaxing, and cycling. The public leisure infrastructure provided by the city government is truly impressive. The hotel is also conveniently located next to Xiepu Road Metro Station (Exit 4 is the most convenient). Traveling to downtown Shanghai takes only about 10 minutes. There is a 24-hour convenience store right next to the hotel, and a Starbucks coffee shop for early birds opens at 6:30 AM just a two minutes away. Staff The staff members are kind, professional, and always willing to help. Value for Money The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the hotel and services provided. Surroundings A shopping center is within a 10-minute walk, together with many restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. This hotel will definitely be my choice for my next stay in Shanghai. Reviewed May 29, 2026Классный отель. Очень чисто, приятный интерьер, хороший персонал, который готов помочь. Удачное местоположение, метро близко. Магазин 7/11 рядом, что тоже плюс.
Единственное, что хотелось бы улучшить - это завтраки. Не такое разнообразное и вкусное меню для европейских гостей. Хочется больше продуктов из молока, яиц, более вкусную выпечку (блинчики, пирожные, сырники).

Reviewed May 26, 2026Ничего от слова совсем! Это ужасные, ужасные, ужасные апартаменты. В которых нет ничего! Все приходиться выпрашивать.
ВСЕ! Он не стоит таких денег!!!!! На кухне нет вообще ни каких принадлежностей, 2 чашки и 2 тарелки. В ванне обычное мыло которое вечно сваливается в раковину, уже у все давно жидкое мыло ставят. Отправитель попросили так и он не работает только мочит одежду. Лифт это вообще отдельный аттракцион. 2 лифта на 35 этажей, можно пол дня провести либо в ожидание его либо катание на нем по этажам!

Маленькая кровать, скудные завтраки - но за такую цену, отлично, что они есть) По расположению не самый удачный вариант относительно основных достопримечательностей и шоппинга. Но удобнее уезжать в аэропорт Пудонг.

Reviewed May 25, 2026We really enjoyed our stay here, the breakfast was an abundance of quality food, a good spread of options for you. Unlimited coffee and juices, very friendly staff. Arrive at Xiepu Metro, leave by exit 4 and turn right when on the pavement, walk for around 50m to the Hotel.
The initial wi-fi connection was bit muddled, remember to ask the reception for the codes etc when you collect your keys.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Camera excelenta, baie frumoasa, camera destul de spatioasa, are si o mica bucatarie unde poti gati, un airfryer, frigider. Camera are balcon. Curatenie zilnic, personalul foarte amabil si mereu sa ajute. Micul dejun foarte diversificat si bogat. Locatia nu e foarte centrala, la vreo 20 minute, dar in zona sunt restaurante, la parterul locației este si un 7eleven.

One thing I really like is that the hotel has the washing machine with washing powder available. Additionally, the staff can speak English. All in all everything is so great!
