Un lugar muy acogedor y un personal encantador! El desayuno buenísimo, la habitación muy espaciosa y un lugar precioso! Sin duda lo recomiendo!!

El personal muy atento y amable durante toda la estancia. Irika y su compañero nos han tratado muy bien. El hotel está a 5 minutos en coche del Lyon rock y cerca de algunos restaurantes. Sin embargo el hotel está en plena naturaleza.

El baño se podría mejorar. Así como el cierre de puertas y ventanas.

La ubicación espectacular, el desayuno correcto y las camas cómodas

En la habitación de arriba había una familia y se oían todos los pasos.

The 2 ground floor rooms in the wooden section of the property. You could hear everything up stairs and with people getting up early for Lion Rock there was no chance of a full nights sleep

Posto perfetto in cui alloggiare in mezzo alla giungla di Sigiriya, piscina e camera pulita dotata di tutti i comfort, stile casa sull’albero! Ottima colazione con piatti tipici dello Sri Lanka, frutta fresca e i classici pane tostato e frittate. Staff gentile e disponibile

Staff molto gentile, disponibile e sorridente. Camera spaziosa e molto ordinata, con un bellissimo atrio sulla piscina. Colazione buona e abbondante. Posto tranquillo.

Ci è piaciuta comunque, ma la piscina necessiterebbe di una pulizia più frequente. Dalla stanza al piano terra dove eravamo alloggiati si sentono moltissimo gli ospiti del piano superiore, ogni passo e ogni movimento sembra amplificato.

Vam tenir una estada fantàstica en aquest petit i tranquil hotel a Sigiriya: bones habitations, preciosa piscina, bon esmorzar i sobretot volem agrair a Indika la seva atenció I professionalitat.

Die kleine Anlage mit ihren drei Häusern und dem Pool sind wunderschön und die Gartenanlage sehr gepflegt. Lage zum Sigiriya Felsen war perfekt. Die Größe unseres Zimmers hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Jedoch nicht die Sauberkeit.

Frühstück war sehr dürftig. Wir hatten manchmal kein fließend Wasser und es gab ohnehin nur kaltes Wasser. Einmal fiel auch der Strom aus und das Zimmer war generell nicht sehr sauber. Für den (für Sri Lankische Verhältnisse) hohen Preis hätte ich mir zumindest fließend Wasser gewünscht.

We loved the pool, breakfast was delicious and the staff were excellent. We saw lots of wildlife (mongoose, chipmunks, squirrel, lizards). Location was close for grabbing a tuk tuk to Lion Rock etc. as well as restaurants.

The showers were a little on the cool side but refreshing after a hot day.

Las instalaciones son mejorables, están trabajando en ello pero aún queda algo de recorrido. No terminamos de tener una buena sintonía con el personal

Great location and design of the resort. The pool was excellent, well looked after. Very peaceful with views over the field and trees. We did lots of bird watching. Staff very helpful and arranged tuk tuks and taxis for us. Lovely family run cafe/ restaurant nearby Natures View.. We also did a cookery course at the step up cafe which was great too

Colazione deludente. Stanza cambiata per invasione di formiche in una peggiore. La nuova stanza era senza acqua calda (scoperto la sera). Avremmo apprezzato anche un trattamento diverso visto i disagi.

La habitación muy bien. La piscina un plus y el resto de personal muy bien.

Había un trabajador más mayor que nos perseguia, se quedaba en nuestra terraza y llego a ponerse en la puerta de nuestra habitación para ver dentro. Nos llego a hacer fotos sin permiso y decir que eran para su album de españolas. Incluso exigiendo que le dieramos un cigarro.

Il resort è in una zona molto tranquilla, circondata dal verde della giungla ma al sicuro. Ha la piscina dove ci si può rilassare, lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile Ottima colazione

Nous remercions particulièrement les deux personnes sur place qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Ils étaient aimables, souriants et très serviables ! Bravo à eux !! Le petit déjeuner était vraiment super également ! L’emplacement est top, à 5minutes en tuktuk du lion Rock. Possibilité de réserver toutes les activités avec l’hôtel !

Struttura lasciata andare e poco pulita. Lenzuola non pulite e tavoletta del water rotta e fortemente macchiata. Necessita di più cura e pulizia

Goede locatie dichtbij restaurants. De eigenaar was ontzettend aardig en bereidwillig om te helpen. Kamer die wij hadden ietwat gehorig (allemaal houtwerk). Lekker ontbijt en zwembad.

Nice pool and good beds

De staff was heel erg opdringerig. Bleven steeds bij ons staan, ook tijdens het ontbijt. Onze tuktuk is kapot gemaakt terwijl wij daar verbleven.

Der Pool

Es fehlten Grundausstattung wie Seife, Shampoo Badematte, eine Lampe die nur zu Deko dastand aber der Stecker nicht passte. Auch keine Steckdose in der ich ohne Adapter mein Mobil Telefon aufladen konnte. Keine gute Bettdecke für das Doppelbett, nur 2 dünne Tücher. Das Frühstück war einfach, nichts besonderes.

Noise was amplified due to lack of sound proofing.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Spotless clean. Chill environment with a pool. Easy to get around by tuk tuk. We love it! Thank you sigiriya elegant resort.

De hele aardige man die de dagen dat wij er zaten het resort runde. Hielp met alles, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was fantastisch, heel uitgebreid en ruimte voor eigen wensen. Het zwembad bijzonder fijn.

Het is een resort opbouw, dat is leuk maar de kleine details kunnen nog beter. Ook in ons huisje, bv een paar glazen om te kunnen drinken (een koelkast is er wel), wat elementen in de douche die los zaten en bv een kleine waslijn of wasrek voor eigen gebruik zou fijn zijn. Kortom: kleine details.

Hemos pasado dos noches en este hotel y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Desde el primer momento, todo el personal ha sido increíblemente amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Queremos agradecer especialmente que nos facilitaran la carga de nuestro tuk tuk eléctrico. Para nosotros era muy importante y en todo momento nos dieron todas las facilidades, lo que demuestra su gran profesionalidad y hospitalidad. La habitación estaba impecable, muy limpia y cómoda, y pudimos disfrutar de la piscina, que nos encantó. Fue un lugar perfecto para relajarnos después de un día de viaje. Sin duda, recomendamos este hotel al 100 %. Nos hemos sentido muy bien atendidos y volveríamos a alojarnos aquí sin pensarlo. We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and our experience was excellent. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help us with anything we needed. We would especially like to thank them for helping us charge our electric tuk tuk. This was very important for us, and they went out of their way to make it easy, which truly showed their outstanding hospitality and customer service. Our room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which was wonderful and the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. We felt truly well looked after and would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable resort. Pool, although small was welcomed after a lot of walking. Ingria, the manager was terrific. We had good conversations at the end of each day. The resident cat and visiting frogs kept us entertained.

The staff were so kind and helpful, they arranged our safari for us which was great. Breakfast every morning was nice. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. The views from the pool were lovely. Within walking distance to a few restaurants.

Absolutely the best stay for us in Sri Lanka. Nice to get away from the city noise and enjoy a pool by the greenery and calmness. The room is spacious and has everything you need, plus super comfortable. Breakfast is thought through and delicious. Located close to the Lion Rock and the neighbourhood itself has nice restaurants nearby and full of friendly people! Manager is very helpful and speaks good English! I will never forget how chill this accommodation truly was. 10/10 recommend!

The one staff member was lovely. He was very helpful with our luggage and organising transports. He didn’t speak much English but tried his best.

Our room door was incredibly difficult to open and shut. It scraped across the floor and was unable to lock from the inside. The aircon was stuck on 20 degrees and wouldn’t turn off making it freezing inside the room. The power turned off about 4 times a day. No wifi and no one told us we had to pay cash at the end.

Lots of space for a family of 5 and comfortable setting.

It’s stunning and authentic. The pool area and outlook are so beautiful. The owner is so friendly, kind and welcoming with plenty of vision for the space. If you’re basing yourself in Sigirya for a few days then I do recommend this place.

Nothing really. Maybe just a few small things in the room - but nothing that affects the enjoyment of it.

Hospitality

Very quite location with not much around so have to the transport to get about but great if this is what your looking for. The staff were great with helping with trips and drivers

We had a double pool view room where unfortunately you could hear EVERYTHING upstairs, this ruined our stay as the guests upstairs got up very early and stayed up late, not their fault. There is obviously no insulation and when I say you could hear everything that’s no exaggeration.

The guy at the resort was nice.

There was a giant molded wall in the shower which made is cancel the booking and not even sleep there because it was about a meter tall. Didn’t take a picture because we left after 30 minutes but the room should not be used for guests that’s for sure

Petit hôtel au calme, dans un joli jardin, piscine agréable et petit déjeuner servi avec goût dans cet environnement paisible. L’hôtel est à 15min à pied du départ des jardins du Rocher du Lion. Tuk tuks faciles à trouver tout près. Bref excellent hôtel pour découvrir Sigiriya pendant quelques jours.

Il post è incantevole, immerso nella natura, con poco personale, ma gentilissimo, la piscina è veramente d'effetto e si godono momenti di vero relax, colazioni ottime, ciò che ci vuole dopo una scalata a Lion Rock o Pidurangala.

Se non si cerca il lusso, ed io non lo cercavo, il resto non può essere criticato.

Personalet var meget søde. I området var mange søde mennesker og oplevelser. Morgenmaden var fin.

Vi havde en rotte på værelset som boede i det ene skab. Personalet prøvede at fjerne den men det lykkedes ikke. Så rotten boede med os :-( der var slet ikke rent og der var ikke nogle af skabene eller reolerne der kunne benyttes. Strømmen gik flere gange.

Er lagen veel matten in de hut en dit vonden we niet zo hygiënisch. De elektriciteit is tweemaal uitgevallen.

Nos alojamos en una habitación en la planta de abajo y los huéspedes de arriba hacían bastante ruido por la noche.

2 Rooms very large and one room smaller. They are clean. Comfortable beds. The balcony is fantastic. Localization: The resort is in a calm area, which is fantastic in terms of tranquility. But it is a relative (small distance walking or by tuck tuck) far away from supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Anyway it is a good place to stay to visit the main attractions of Sigiriya Note that the resort is in a "wild" area, so there will be small animals, insects, and mosquitoes. Staff: Very efficient and friendly staff. They solve all our problems. They were amazing. Thanks Bathroom - Good. Shower with hot water but low pressure. Breakfast: It was fantastic with a lot of food. Pool - Fantastic and clean. It was amazing swim the pool Wifi: Very Good We definitely would stay more days at this resort. .

There is a very steep staircase to the rooms (and also to the smaller room), which may not be suitable for elderly guests. The pressure of the water should be higher.

Sin duda el mejor hotel que he estado en toda Sri Lanka! La piscina espectacular, te puedes bañar las 24h, el desayuno está bien y el hotel tiene un encanto especial! El personal es agradable y servicial, hasta te tienden la ropa!

La tranquilidad que buscábamos la envidia tramos en este pequeño hotel . El lugar era un poco apartado pero se agradece después del ruidoso día tener una tranquilidad . Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias , tipo cabañas , con la piscina constantemente limpiándola . Muy buenos días hemos pasado

Quizás el camino hacia llegar a él

La situació immillorable, la piscina perfecte per relaxar-se, el personal espectacular i l’esmorzar senzillament increïble.

L’habitació estava just sota d’altres i se sentia massa soroll; ens despertàvem quan els de dalt començaven a moure’s. A més, les obres a primera hora del matí resultaven una mica molestes.

Die Unterkunft ist mit vielen schönen Details ausgestattet und einfach ein Traum. Dazu kommt der beste Pool den wir bisher hatten. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal vor Ort. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb vom Trubel. Wunderschöne Spaziergänge sind aber direkt von dort möglich.

Der Besitzer kommt nur wochenends da er nicht vor Ort wohnt. Er ist ziemlich aufdringlich und speziell. Jedoch sollte man sich von ihm nicht die Unterkunft verderben lassen.

Logement en villa haute avec grande terrasse et vue sur la super piscine. C'est le plus agréable logement de notre séjour, le personnel est exceptionnel, tout est confortable et très apaisant. Literie au top. La villa est spacieuse et climatisée est parfaite pour 4, le lit supplémentaire en mezzanine est plus chaud. À deux pas des centres d'intérêts et commerces. Petit déjeuner typique et copieux, possibilité de repas le soir. Une super guest house ! Merci

Très jolie chambre, bien aménagée et bien décorée. Lits confortables. Piscine très appréciée.

Accueil un peu froid. Prix proposés pour les trajets en tuk tuk excessifs par rapport à d'autres endroits au Sri Lanka. Globalement, à Sigiriya, impression de se faire avoir .

Ons appartement had een houten vloer en zat direct boven de personeelskamer. Het zijn vriendelijke mensen maar het was onder ons enorm gehorig. Alsof ze in onze kamer waren. Praten, bellen, rondlopen, wekkers, ontbijt klaarmaken voor de 05.00 safari. Het was alleen stil tussen 00.00 en 04.30 am. De rest van de tijd lagen we wakker met oordoppen in. De eigenaar heeft wel plannen om dit op te lossen. Ik denk dat de andere appartementen dit probleem niet hebben en dan lijkt het mij een prima resort.

Los dos hombres que llevan el alojamiento fueron atentos en todo momento, el sitio es muy bonito y acogedor y la habitación amplia y cómoda.

Aunque el personal fue atento, nos cruzamos un par de veces con el dueño y nos hizo el lío: en primer lugar nos ofreció un precio desorbitado por el safari en Mineriya, y el segundo día se ofreció a llevarnos a Dambulla, hacer parada en las cuevas y de ahi llevarnos a Kandy. Después de muuuuucho insistir (convirtiendose la situación en incómoda y pesada) y de proponernos distintos precios, aceptamos ir con él. Durante la visita a Dambulla nos llamó en varias ocasiones para meternos prisa (cuando el sabía que queríamos ver las cuevas previamente), cuando ya nos encontramos con el, después de llamarle en varias ocasiones porque no estaba en el sitio acordado, nos dijo que eramos unas maleducadas y las siguientes dos horas de coches se basaron en una conducción temeraria e inapropiada con un tráfico como el de Sri Lanka. Para colmo, nos quiso hacer también el lío con el cambio a euros del precio de la habitación, según él, el conversor de su calculadora era correcto y no el de Google.

Es war sehr sauber, der Pool war sehr schön, im Umkreis gibt's einige kleine und gute Restaurants. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und hat uns auch mit dem Hotel-Tuk-Tuk (kostenpflichtig) transportiert. Das Zimmer war sehr groß.

Das Personal sprach leider nur sehr schlecht englisch. Und nur 2 Liegen am Pool ist etwas wenig. Sobald man für eine Stunde das Hotel verlassen hat, wurde die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet, so dass das Zimmer dann innen sehr warm war, wenn man zurück kam. Ich verstehe, dass man Strom sparen möchte, trotzdem nervt es etwas.

Por el tipo de construcción, si tienes una habitación de abajo, el ruido de cada paso de la planta superior no nos dejó dormir, además no pusieron sábanas. Era solo una noche, pero no pegamos ojo

Nice and intimate. Really nice owner. Location 5mn away from sigiriya. Pool has a good size and in the center of the property surrounded by the 3 houses. Our house with the family room on 1st floor with a nice balcony feels like a ski chalet. Good family owned restaurant 5mn walking distance.

Moth balls everywhere in the room and bathroom leaving a very strong smell, not nice ! Breakfast average. On the expensive side against what you get.
