Reviewed Nov 28, 2024Nice location in a more quiet part of Thamel, still close to all the main atrractions. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast is simple but good. The staff was super friendly. When I arrived very early in the morning they offered me to sleep in a different room until mine would be cleaned. Also Karuna from the reception is a very lovely person and made me feel very welcomed.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2024Hotel Abi is located at boundry of core Themal Market best for sound sleep and explore World Heritage sightseeing and long journey to Pokhara and Chitwan with in 5 minutes we reach to the Tourist Bus station. I am really appreciate with the hospitality of Hotel staff and friendly environment.
Everything is perfect but I really miss the staff smile at their face and warm welcome.

No elevator, only bread, butter, jam and eggs are available for breakfast, absence of a professional manager is visible at first glance.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2023Everything is new in the hotel. Good breakfast. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet place but near everything you need. My room had a balcony. It is nice to have heating in the winter. Wifi works well.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2022Everything was perfect during my stay. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the standards of the rooms are at levels 😍 The best part of my stay was Andrew, the owner. He went far and beyond to help me during my stay. He gave me recommendations of places to visit both in Kathmandu and in Nepal. He also took the time to explain me how I could get to them using public transport (believe me, it is not easy to figure this out if you are foreigner), booked motorcycles whenever I needed them and explained me a lot of aspects of Nepali culture. For all of this reasons, I couldn’t recommend more this place. They are just starting their business and working very hard to create an amazing hotel and from my point of view, they are doing great
