Lakeside Mountain Haven

The home was absolutely wonderful! Heated floors, cozy beds and thoughtful touches everywhere. The space was extremely clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! We would absolutely stay again, and would recommend to friends.

Everything! This place is magnificent. The location is close enough to central Queenstown to be just a short drive away, but far enough away to be private, serene, and peaceful. The property itself is spotless, modern, cozy & comfortable. Parking is easy, and the views are spectacular. Sitting in the spa looking over the lake to the Remarkables is surreal. Genuine top shelf accommodation this.

Just the 2 flight of stairs to climb up n down with our big bags. That was a big tough.. but not a biggie as we were there for 5 days so had to take it down and bring it up . Just once

The property was fantastic - modern, clean, beautiful, very well equipped, all new appliances, and lovely bathrooms. The location is right outside the centre of the town, and one can drive there in 10 mins. Views are incredible and it is perfectly suited for families. The host even arranged for us to collect my son's favourite ball that was left behind in the apartment. Highly recommend!

The one and only thing we didn't like was the metal staircase - lugging the suitcases up and down was very hard.

I don’t think It was mentioned on booking.com-that the property was down 2 flight of stairs . Carrying the suitcases was difficult . The shower in the ensuite was very light , had to use the other shower . If not for these I would have given 10/10 , otherwise very happy with the stay

The location is breathtaking! The apartment was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed for our stay! We did not want to leave, and wished we had booked for a longer stay!

It was such a neat, clean, homey and well supplied place. We loved the couch and the 2 bathrooms and the hot tub. There was an exceptional amount of seasoning for cooking and the oven is great! This is definitely my best booking.com stay yet. Wish that we had extended our stay there, so if you see it free - definitely snatch it up. Such good pricing as well.

Be mindful about the stairs to the property but the auto lights help with that!

The views were stunning! The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the towel warmer in the bathroom. The property is centrally located, so a short drive to stores and activities.

Be aware if you have luggage that there are two flights of metal stairs to get to the apartment. We arrived on a rainy day, so the steps were a bit slippery.

Location is magnificent and the spa was just what we needed for our body aches after a day on the ski fields. Very clean and comfortable perfect for a family of four.

Just know there are quite a few steps to the property which might be difficult for some, like my husband who had a bad knee.

The house was lovely warm when we got there. The soa pool was clean and warm. There was everything in the house that we needed.

Everything was great. The location and view were fabulous. All amenities were included. Was able to use the dryer and washer. Hair dryer and straighteners included. Boardgames, heaters in the rooms and towel rack warmer in bathrooms were a plus! Shower pressure was great and we were able to have hot showers everyday. Included outdoor Jacuzzi was fab. Also the interior and set up of the accommodation was well thought out and looks great. Rooms had space for luggage to put opened out.

The apartment was very spacious and fit exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and well appointed. The views were amazing, I would definitely recommend having a car as the road is very steep and would take a while to walk up. The communication was good and check in was very straightforward.

Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and plenty of useful amenities like: shampoo and conditioner, cooking oil, salt pepper, clothes washing detergent, plenty of utensils, cutlet and crockery - they’ve thought of everything and it was greatly appreciated! We loved our stay.

1. Owners repeatedly wanted me to confirm that I was travelling alone (and then tried to blame it on their automatically generated messages, despite the first request to confirm that I was travelling alone being a message from the owner herself) 2. Cleaning of surfaces was pretty average when I arrived 3. So many rules about temperature control in the apartment with direct threats of additional charges if the temperature control was altered - The apartment was freezing the entire time I was there (and I dare not touch the temperature settings) 4. Spa was lacklustre and insipid (the single jet barely moved the water) - Very unimpressive 5. So many references to potential additional charges at the end of the stay (both in their reference folder and their message to me the day before I left). I was unable to submit photos of how clean the apartment was when I left (to demonstrate that additional charges were not warranted), however, I was unable to do this the owner does not have an active email account and booking.com app doesn’t allow users to upload photos in the messaging system)

Lovely accommodation at an excellent location with an amazing view! Spacious and has a great hot shower! We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Fan running in bedrooms made it difficult to sleep. Fine to have just no way to turn off at night.

We thought this was such a beautiful property with amazing views , the place was super clean with lovely furnishings the highlight was the spa pool too ,overlooking the amazing views of lake Wakatipu .

The place was really clean and spacious for a family. host was kind enough to leave a chocolate for us to enjoy. the accomodation is located in a very convenient place which is 4 kms from the city centre. The most amazing factor is the view of the lake and the jacuzzi is placed right in-front of the lake view. would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice calm place to stay in Queenstown.

We truly loved this place! On arrival, the home was warm, towels rail were on - ready for that first spa with that amazing view of the snowy mountains. Prime spot!

Nothing I really didn’t like although if I had one suggestion it would be about the heating system. It was all on a timer so went on and off at set times and we had no control over it.

Great accomodation! So warm and clean and had everything we needed. We loved the spa and amazing view, decided we didn’t need Onsen as this was better!

The stairs to get down were the only issue if you have young kids or elderly people but not a biggie in general. The aircon at night was a bit noisy.
