Reviewed Aug 16, 2026I loved the location and the value for money. The bed was comfy, I slept well. Water temp and pressure in the shower was great.
I found the seat/sofa too low/difficult to get up from. Also it felt cold and damp when I arrived but this was just the weather. It soon warmed up.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Location was excellent – close to Kloof Street (mall, variety of restaurants, Spar), yet quiet during the evening and night. LOVED the shower. 24/7 security guard in street where my car was parked. Probably one of the cleanest, neatest and best equipped places I have ever stayed. Thank you!
One thing and that is just a personal peeve: It's kind of lightish in the bedroom. I like it to be completely dark. Once again, that is just me. And I had no trouble sleeping either of the two nights, so there you have it.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026Situation exceptionnelle et grand calme en étant en plein de coeur de Gardens, très apprécié. Personne dans la rue qui fait attention aux voitures et accès à une place de parking aisé.
Signes de vétusté de la structure (grosses lézardes) et traces d'humidité sur les murs. Logement dont les fenêtres donnent sur la rue au rez-de-chaussée et donc impossibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour des questions de sécurité si l'on veut aérer.

My only gripe was I planned to sleep late and catch up on sleep but it's a very bright property, so once the sun comes up, it's bright so I couldn't sleep late like I planned. It's perfect if you want to wake early to climb Lion's Head!

The process of collecting the key and dropping it off can be daunting. Firstly the host does return calls, secondly the gate has no bell, lastly you have to scream for help. Overall I think the key issue can change.

Leiligheten var mye mindre enn det bildene gir inntrykk av. Terrassen er ikke en terrasse, men kun en smal gang, uten tak, mellom ytterdør og dør til leiligheten. Det er kun ett vindu der og det er ved siden av senga og ut mot en smal sidegate med høye murvegger. Inngangen er på samme vegg og også lite innbydende.

The 2 windows which is basically on the road. Look, i know people can't see in, and i understand a wall cannot be built for added privacy, and its not major. Also, the bed can be a tad high for a shorter person :-)

It’s small but perfect for 2 people who are looking for a comfortable and safe place to rest while you’re out and about in the day. The space was really clean and neat and is beautifully decorated. The location is really convenient. Our host was really helpful and responsive and left us some snacks which was really thoughtful. I would stay here again!

Bar a coffee machine there’s literally everything that you could want, including milk, water and chocolates in the fridge that Eric kindly provided. He was so generous to allow me to check-in at 10:00 o’clock already since I had to checkout at another apartment and that was just great. He also kept my own and my friends’ luggage until it was time to go to the airport. Location is surprisingly quiet and great around the corner from vibey Kloof street. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back.
I missed a coffee machine but just went to Vida e Cafe 5 minutes down the road. The internet seemed a bit unstable at times.

If you are there with a car, parking can be a bit tricky, especially over the weekend. No desk/table to work from, but understand that space is limited.

Appartament do not have A/C ,and if you have open windows ,from early morning cars and truck passing just in front your window...as well,there is no blind curtains on windows so early sun wake you at 6-7am.
