No lift, but that’s ok for us, but maybe not others. Washing machine used by cleaners, decided not to use it. Only street parking, but not far away.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Very fresh and clean. Great check in service. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Modern, well appointed accommodation. The location is bang centre of the action. Of all the places to chill, the Safehouse bar, part of the complex is one of the best in the Port with absolutely brilliant staff. The Trinity Suite was compact but well thought out and everything you needed was provided for.

On arrival there was a very strong smell in bedroom. A lovely young man arrived to inspect it. He provided us with a plug in air freshener and 2 complenary bottles of wine. With the window open the smell did fade. Also sofa bed very uncomfortable.

Sofa bed not fit for purpose, very thin, very uncomfortable, metal frame sticks into your body. Also very small. Because of this we will not use this apartment again.

Had requested early check in but couldn’t get in until 4pm , just would of been nice to receive an email instead of having to go round to the bar to ask the staff who then said I hadn’t requested early check in which I did .. other than that apartments are perfect very clean and supply the loveliest toiletries ☺️

Bedroom slightly small. Not a lot of storage space but ok for 1 or 2 nights. As someone with back and neck troubles, I would have preferred the sofa to have a higher back.

Took a day for the place to heat, would be nice if owners put the heat on the night B4 because it really was cold :/ . Lot of empty beer kegs outside the window itwould be nice to put a cover over the and take bad look away. Easy!; otherwise would be a more pleasant view.

Small packet of milk would have been more preferential rather than the small milk pods, but thats nothing major, popped to the shops to get that is a stones throw away.

Reviewed May 24, 2026The decor was beautiful. Some door stops would have made the place much more enjoyable. All the heavy doors were forced closed due to lack of doorstops so the family room was cut off from all the bedrooms.
Very hot/ lack of air flow. Althea door stops may have also helped ed here. Bathrooms very musty.

Reviewed May 16, 2026We absolutely adored our stay here! The original features and the complimenting decor is phenomenal. We spent most of our time sitting in the wee nook on the other side of the original period feature doors. It was absolutely blissful, with it being such a little sun trap in be afternoon. The chairs in there were so so comfortable… which is especially important when travelling with a pregnant person! Our only complaint was that the chairs were a little low down, someone with mobility issues could struggle to get out of them. But also with the height of the window for people watching…aka we like being nosy haha! Possibly consider extending the legs of the chairs for the nosy people among us for our next visit please ha. The beds were very comfortable, the only small suggestion would be to consider offering none feathered pillows for people like myself with allergies. The bedrooms are compact but very beautiful and cosy! MAJOR PLUS having a full length mirror too. We really appreciated the cleanliness of everything too. Also that there was tea, coffee and milk there for us. The thought and attention to detail that went into designing the apartment was amazing! My sister in law commented how much she loved that everything was so cohesive and intentional. The sofa was super comfortable, as were the wing back chairs. You literally could not get anymore central a location, being straight up the Main Street essentially. The lovely Kiwi bar is a one minute walk away. We are already talking about rebooking for later in the year, for a longer time as we loved our stay so much.
We noticed the seal around the shower in the bathroom at the bottom of the steps was black and causing an odour. Very possible you could have a small leak there…two out of the three guests have had the same issue in recent years at home and know what a nightmare it can be, if not fixed asap.

But delighted to have stayed here as it is a delightful apartment both the apartments and building are well maintained. The character of the building and the rooms have been kept to add the experience of the guests. We were spoilt with the space. Staying in The Loft.
