Everything was Amazing

Thank you Ash for being an excellent host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home that our kids don't want to go back home. The snacks on arrival was a nice surprise, and our children loved the toy box, great addition for families visiting with children. We also loved how warm the house was, the bedding arrangement fit our family well and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to cook. Our two nights went by quickly, we hope to visit again

Ash, la propriétaire etait aux petits soins. Vue époustouflante. Quartier très calme. La cuisine était très bien équipée. La maison est mignonne et était suffisante pour notre famille.

Que la maison semble plus petite que sur les photos et qu'elle soit très proche des maisons avoisinantes mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de bons moments !

Everything! The house was warm and cozy with a very well equipped kitchen! Great location. You can see the snow mountain from the backyard. The messages from the host were clear and helpful, and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch! Highly recommended to everyone:)

Uitzicht was ontzettend prachtig! De woning zelf is heel erg fijn. Alles is voorradig. Van de fijne shampoo&conditioner tot aan een melkopschuimer om je eigen cappuccino te maken.

Wij kunnen niets bedenken.

Die schöne Aussicht wird durch einen Bretterzaun verschandelt. Das Haus ist so gut wie nicht isoliert und ist sehr schwer zu heizen ( im unteren Schlafzimmer bleibt es kalt, während es dann oben zu warm ist). Das Schlafzimmer ist auch leider sehr finster.

We had a wonderful stay at Manuka Views at Ohakune. The place was very clean, comfortable and cosy, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was especially great for families. There was a fantastic selection of kids’ toys and books, which made a big difference for us. We also loved the view of Mt Ruapehu from the backyard, such a beautiful bonus. Communication from the host was excellent throughout, which made everything easy and stress-free. Highly recommend, especially for families visiting the area.

Das Haus war top sauber, ist wunderschön und hat eine tolle Lage. Wir haben wirklich alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten, sogar ein Ladegerät! Herzlichen Dank!

Het is een zeer ruim huisje en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs nog wat extra lekkere dingen als welkom. Wij hadden slecht weer waardoor we helaas veel binnen hebben gezeten maar omdat het zo’n fijn huisje is was dit zeker geen straf. Bij mooi weer is het terras heel prettig.

We kunnen niets verzinnen.

Location is excellent for all the activities available around Ohakune, and is also very private. Shopping, grocery, etc. are just a few blocks away. The home and kitchen are very thoughtfully appointed, with great sheltered parking.

Only the weather, and who can do anything about that? We came during early season to beat the crowds. Mission accomplished!

Det eneste jeg ikke brød mig om, var det store hegn, som tager en del af udsigten, og som gør, at man føler sig lidt indespærret.

Das Haus war wirklich top ausgestattet! Sehr individuell, auch mit kleinen Kindern perfekt.

Es hat einen Tag geschüttet, aber dafür konnte das Haus nichts. Trotzdem konnte man unter dem Vordach noch super grillen.

Es war super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Highly functional house with all you need as a traveler and amaizing view of the mountains. The house was highly comfortable.

If we could give a badge of excellence. We would. A 10 is not enough. The details, the love, the generosity and abundance that has been put in this place is worth more than a 10. It really feels and is a home from home. The View is just stunning. The cutlery, kitchen appliances, pots and pans of quality. The bed is to die for. If I could buy the matras in Europe, I would! The best bed we had and especially something to look forward to during the Tongariro Alpine walk. And then such details like a little mark on your toiletpaper. A first aid kit and real, live plants in the house. And clean! Really clean. Ain't no half steppin' here. I can't praise our host Ash and our stay enough.

Lovely place. Very welcoming, clean, and well set out. Toasty warm property. Was actually quite spacious for a small property. Perfect view of the mountain too.

Easy 10 out of 10. The property was well equiped, spacious and the view to the mountain was captivating. Hosts (and local cat) were friendly and checked to make sure everything was to our liking. We’d love to come back. Ohakune is such a nice little town with all the basics you could want or need.

Being located in Ohakune was great as there is a good variety of stores, cafes, gas stations, restaurants and bars, along with a supermarket (New World). Ohakune is only 40 minutes drive from Whakapapa Village and 25 minutes from Turoa Ski fields. We had some of the largest and best kebabs at Mountain Kebabs which has been in the same hands for the last 30 years! I suggest just one regular for most, but if you have a large appetite, try the large, you won't be disappointed. Ohakune Hot tubs is also a nice place to unwind. Wood fired hots tubs for up to 4 people, but better shared with two in my opinion, but I'm larger than the average human. The house itself was modern, well equipped, very clean, and our host Ash was helpful to a fault. Loved the little touches like LED lights "Kia ora" and "Dream a little Dream" which you could unplug if keeping you awake. We did not get to use the outdoor setting due to being in winter, nor the BBQ but they were there if needed. Thanks again Ash, will recommend to our friends.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was as expected on the booking, communication excellent, venue awesome. If you want a pet (which we didn't) or want to party (which we didn't) that would be the only draw back, because this is not allowed. But to be honest, that's why we booked it.

Very clean, warm, cosy and homely. Fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine. Cosy living area and TV. Deck with excellent view of Mt Ruapehu. Friendly host, good communication. The host has very kindly provided some welcoming snacks! Will surely return and recommend them.

Amazing views, very comfortable beds, exceptionally clean, kitchen has all you need and there’s a great variety of books and games to keep the whole family entertained.

The house was lovingly set up for guests comfort. The heater was already on for our arrival making the house warm and cozy on arrival. The host reached out to make sure our stay was going well during our trip. This was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend booking. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Ohakune !

We felt like at home ! Every detail was thought to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Ash is a great hostess replying promptly to our requests. Terrace is outstanding facing the volcano and fully equipped with nice furniture and a BBQ. Well above our expectations !

We had a really fantastic stay in this lovely little house. Totally amazing location with beautiful views of Mount Ruapehu. Such a warm and cosy house with the comfiest beds. Absolutely everything you could possibly need was provided. Great place to stay to explore the surrounding area. Ash, the host, was super helpful. We would definitely love to stay here again if we came back. P.s. you have to have a chocolate eclair from the famous Ohakune chocolate eclair shop!

This lovely house has everything you could expect to have/experience on a holiday, including a high standard of cleanness. It is perfect for families with children. Location is a short walking distance from the main road and the owner is very responsive and flexible.

Spotlessly (five-star) clean and well appointed with towels, shampoo etc. plus lovely treats left by our very friendly host. Access to the washing machine was very much appreciated and our children loved the privacy of the loft after several hotel stays:).

It was just a bit difficult to cool the master bedroom with the one AC unit, but honestly that’s just us finding one thing to put in this box. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Nice friendly host, available if needed, but otherwise respectful of the space and privacy of the guests. Nice little snacks on arrival. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. We made the mistake of buying salt and pepper and then found it in the pantry. Nice barbecue. Brilliant view on the maunga, when it wants to show itself! Easy biking area and good access to the mountain bike trails.

Manuka Views is one of the best places we have stayed at. It was comfortable, homely and quiet, and the kids loved all the games and toys. It is very well equipped and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We are already planning to return.

Lovely secluded setting, every facility you could need for a relaxing stay. Host was really helpful. The local shops were adequate for all our needs & the eclair shop is a must visit.

We couldn't find a corkscrew!!

The host was very considerate and have turned on the heater for us before we arrive, thank you! The house is so clean, comfortable, all facilities are great. Kitchen wares/tools are impressively comprehensive. Love the high quality teas from the cabin and the chilly sauce in the fridge. There are great books and games that children will love. We had a very comfortable night staying here. I have been to many NZ motels/airbnbs, I would rank this as the top 2%. If I ever travel back to Tongariro again I will definitely choose this property again.

The view was amazing. The facilities were great as hot water was perfect, kitchen was fully decked out, the WiFi was really quick and had great connect. The decor was well homey and welcoming. This place was perfectly set up. The coffee bar was well stocked, the beds were ridiculously comfy, the living room was so cozy and the hosts were so lovely! We had a beautiful view every morning, we were not far from the National Park and it was the best place to come home to. I look forward to staying here again.

One of the best accom of this type I've had the pleasure to stay in. Warm, clean, comfortable with every amenity you could want even down to fresh condiments in the fridge. The downstairs bed I slept in was probably one of the best I've ever had... (what brand is it as I'd buy one for home in a flash)... other guest were equally complimentary about their beds. View to Ruapehu from lounge is epic!. Walking distance to restaurants. Quiet and private. Would be perfect for a family to stay. Only regret is we only stayed the one night as it would have been lovely to stay a while and relax and take advantage of the amenities and location. Host very friendly and helpful but also not intrusive in any way. Will definitely be back... planning on a summer visit as the deck looks amazing for a summers evening bbq.
