The location was fantastic, very central and walking distance to everything. The communication with the owners/operators was excellent. Plenty of space for our family of 5.

We could see the nails in the stair case and it did not give me confidence that it was very secure.

I liked the shower water pressure and the warmth of the place

I hated the dodgy staircase. You could see the screws sticking out which made it seem quite dangerous to use, especially for my young boys. The hand rail didn’t seem secure either. I was very cautious of me and my partner using the stairs because of our weight as adults. I just don’t think people need to worry about this when they stay at hotels. There was also hair on the dishwashing brush in the kitchen so I had to purchase new sponges from the supermarket next door. My partner also noticed a dirty nappy by the back door which is very unhygienic and it makes me wonder if the cleaners are thorough when they do their work.

The staff were so kind - I had let them know we would be arriving late so they made sure there was a light left on for us and started the heaters up so the room was the perfect temp when we arrived:

Mattress's on bunks were a bit thin, but kids didn't notice.

Good location. The kitchen was a good space. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.

We had to turn the fridge on so it wasn’t cold at first. We had to turn the heater on so the room wasn’t warm when we arrived. There were no staff on site for check in, and they had forgotten to email a PIN code so we had to phone to ask what to do. The towel rail fell off the wall in the bathroom. The shower fell off the wall when my husband tried to alter the height.

From the downstairs bedroom you can hear people walking upstairs, and the ground floor bathroom is very cold. But apart from that, the house is very warm

The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. They cleaned the accommodation daily, collected the rubbish, and provided fresh towels and rugs. They also regularly checked if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. The location was also great because its close to parks, walkways, markets, and restaurants. Overall, a lovely and convenient place to stay. Lastly I really enjoyed the spa pool. Highly recommended!

We provided our own food for breakfast. Facilitates were good.

A carton of milk would have worked better for our family of 6. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

It’s really good location closer to shops, ski rentals and Turoa’s ski field.

We stayed here during one of the coldest nights of the year. Unfortunately, the heater in our room wasn’t working properly, and we were freezing. We called reception, and the staff kindly brought us a spare heater, which made a big difference. The next day, however, the spare heater was taken away. When I asked if we could have it back, I was told the main heater was working again and that they don’t usually allow a second heater in the room. Unfortunately, the room was still very cold, and we had a really uncomfortable night’s sleep. It was a struggle for the whole family. When you’re on a winter holiday, especially after spending the day on the mountains, you expect to come back to a warm and cozy room. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience.

Requested for room next to families,got it . Nice,clean and comfortable rooms,had enough beds for 5 people sleep in one room. Friendly staff . Kept topping up our consumables . Spa was available till 9.30. Good timing. Great location,within shops,food outlets and not far from snow mountain. Hoping to go back there again. Highly recommended.

Because I requested for my room next to my family,my room had no sink in the kitchen. I was offered a good room beforehand.

Central in the village. Comfortable. Quick response when we couldn't get TV to work. Extra heater provided.

The carpark is right outside the room so easy to get in and out, they had a microwave in each room, dishware and electric blankets for each bed. Had an easy check-in process with lock-boxes and the owner messaged the instructions early which were easy to follow, also the location is right in town.

When we arrived at 11pm after a 17.5 hour travel day(booked two rooms for work) one of the rooms had not been cleaned at all(bed unmade/slept in, unclean dishes in sink and dirty bathroom), never in my life have I arrived to such an unclean room(however, this seemed to have been missed communication between the cleaner and owner so is most likely a one-off). They answered the phone quickly and gave other options such as the bottom room of a nearby 4-bedroom chalet and another room(which unfortunately hadn’t been cleaned either) but I didn’t feel comfortable with those options, so stayed in the second room with my workmate. In that room we couldn’t find where to turn on the heater so it was a bit cold and the water was pooling on the bottom of the shower floor, however other than that the room was ok given the price.

Der Check-in war um ca. 1600 Uhr geschlossen. Erst nach e-mail Anfrage erfuhren wir den Zimmercode. Der kleine Heizkörper im Zimmer konnte daa Zimmer nicht aufheizen. Nacht-Außentemprratur 4 Grad. Im Zimmer war es ziemlich kalt.

Das Motel liegt sehr zentral, alle Geschäfte und Cafe sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Management war sehr nett und hilfsbereit uns bei einem kleinen Problem zu unterstützen. Danke an Scott und Dara!

Guter Stopp in Ohakune. Das Motel ist gut erreichbar, liegt aber in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Angenehm sind die Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Die Ausstattung mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher etc. war gut. Den Schlüssel hat man kontaktlos in einem Kästchen neben der Tür gefunden. Der Code dafür wurde per SMS übermittelt. Zwar etwas unpersönlich, hat aber gut funktioniert.

Die Unterkunft ist bereits ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Im Küchenbereich gab es keine Spüle, so dass man das Geschirr im Bad spülen musste. Machbar, aber etwas umständlich.

Emplacement idéal au coeur de la ville.

We were only there to sleep after needing to come home earlier from a bad camping weather further north. This motel was very accommodating with a last minute booking that was not going to arrive until late in the evening. Each motel room has a lockbox so we could quietly let ourselves in without having to stress about arriving by a certain time. Being right next to a supermarket was a bonus! We are already planning a trip back in the winter.

Direkt in Ohakune, um die Ecke von Café und Supermarkt. Der Raum ist sehr schön, hohe Wände, gut ausgestattet mit Mikrowelle, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Auswahl an Tee, Kaffee und Kakao, viel Platz im Haus und schönes Bad.

Spacious, easy access, warm

The twin room was spacious for 2-3 people, the beds were quite comfy, and the kitchen facilities were complete. The location was close to New World and other shops.

The shower head was not adjustable, so it was a waste of water. Although the water was instantly hot
