Manuel the host is helpful and happy to assist us with questions and coordinate time to clean our apartment. The location is a prime in Lisbon. The decorations are attractive and nice!

L’appartamento è centralissimo e, nonostante sia affacciato sulla prestigiosa rua Augusta, è molto silenzioso. Tutto l’appartamento è arredato con raffinata eleganza e funzionalità. Inutile dire che la pulizia era impeccabile. Soprattutto però ho apprezzato la superlativa gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario, sempre pronto ad ogni suggerimento o aiuto. Miguel and Vanna or the sweetest best hosts ever so helpful they made me feel so safe and they checked up on me to make sure I was comfortable and didn't need anything regularly because I was traveling alone they came up with great successions and we're just such sweet people generally. Also the location is out of this world couldn't be more perfect and closely located to anything and everything with such a beautiful view!

The location was superb and exactly why I chose it. Central to everything. The apartment is nicely appointed and stocked with necessities (thank you).

While the apartment looked spotless, the floors or rugs need a cleaning as our socks were left very dirty.

We loved our stay in the heart of Lisbon, with the Praca de Comercio (historical heart beat of the city) right outside your window - not to mention the incredible views - just as pictured - we stayed in the penthouse which we highly recommend. You are walking distance from so many attractions, viewpoints, shops and restaurants (and other neighbouring highlight areas like Chiado). Miguel is the true embodiment of what it means to be a "super host". For a modest fee, Miguel met us as the airport and took us on a small tour of the city en route to the apartment, to show us some landmarks and viewpoints so that we could get the "lay of the land". Miguel was always on hand during our stay to assist with fabulous recommendations for restaurants, entertainment options, travelling plans, laundry etc - he has been the best host we ever encountered on our travels, and if we visit Lisbon again, we would certainly look Miguel up and stay at this wonderful apartment right in the heart of the historical part of Lisbon. The room is much bigger in size than what you would find in most hotels and other apartment options, the layout and decorations are super cool, and you can open windows to see the famous Rua Augusta arch, and the beautiful buildings leading up to the left and right. Even though you are right on top of one of the most famous and iconic streets in Lisbon (Rua Augusta - which connects two famous squares - Praca do Comercio and Rossio Square), that tends to be bustling with activity at all hours, the apartment has double-glazed windows which makes for a super quiet and restful experience when closed up - and the bed in the penthouse is just amazingly comfortable after a long day of adventure filled fun in Lisbon! We were in Lisbon to run the 2025 Lisbon marathon - for 2026 runners, note that the end point of the marathon is the Praca do Comercio (plaza right in front of the apartment) - you literally pick up your medal and walk (or hobble!

Location was superb, right in the heart of the action. Trams and private cars at your doorstep to travel to nearby sights and explore historic gold. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore and learn about Lisbon's history and culture, and be in the heart of the action. Miguel met us in person at the property on arrival, took up our bags, went through everything in relationship to the apartment, shared ideas on where to go and visit, and parked our vehicle. Miguel was available for contact during our stay and personally came to the apartment to check us out at the end of our stay. Our apartment was excellent, warm, welcoming, very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed and more. The location above all was amazing for so close to everything. Our stay was so memorable, made so by the thoughtfulness and kindness of Miguel.

we added the pickup from the airport; it was a very fair price, and the person who picked us up gave us a nice tour with a lot of information. The apartment is nice and clean and at a great location close to the main square and the main street. close to shops and restaurants. the apartment had a bedroom; nice living room and kitchen with all you need for a few days of nice stay.

When i saw this apartment on the Internet i immediately liked and booked it. The host offered to pick me up at the airport and on the way to the accommodation gave me an interesting introduction to Lisbon since it was my first visit. the host also provided useful information on good restaurants and was always available with advice. The apartment is cosy and comfortable and the location is perfect.

Great views from windows and balconies on both sides of the building. Fantastic location. Walking distance to Tagus River and major city attractions. Host Miguel was perfect. Described the entire apartment during check-in and provided all necessary information on hot spots and points of interest in Lisbon. Would stay here again. Recommend apartment to other travelers.

Location was magic and being right there in the centre of all the action, was fantastic that the owner had invested in sound proof windows. We would head to sleep at maybe 11pm and delightfully quiet but before we went to bed, the windows open and out on the balcony, you felt the life of the city, which made our stay just perfect

Location was amazing. Great views and close to all of the attractions and public transport. The apartment was well decorated and had all that you might need for a short stay. It was spotless and very well equipped. It is on the 5th floor but with a lift. The host, Miguel, was very helpful in showing how everything worked at the apartment and with ideas of what to do in the city followed up by an extensive insider's list of bars, restaurants and local haunts. The bed was on a 'stage' / stepped platform. It looked great, but if you have any mobility issues, it may be hard to get in and out of the bed. (No problem for us).

Perfect apartment! Prime location close to shops, restaurants, transportation. Walking distance to Alfama, Chiado and Barrio Alto. Spotleas clean with everything you need - we felt like home! The view is amazing and the small balcony a huge plus. Good isolation makes the apartment quiet. Miguel is a perfect host, thank you for the guided tour on the way to the airport!

We had a wonderful stay at Unique Design Apartments in Lisboa. Miguel was professional and personally one of the best managers we have encountered in our travels. He was knowledgeable about not just Lisboa but all of Portugal. The apartment was clean and safe, and it was centrally located to mass transit, shopping, the river, and St. George Castle. There are wonderful restaurants (some touristy, but good) in the area. We will return again and stay here! Thank you, Miguel!

The apartment is beautifully, artfully furnished, spacious, bright, airy, extremely comfortable, very clean, has all the modern amenities (all of which work very well), and lives like a well-cared for home. We love our stay and would have happily stayed in just to enjoy the apartment. The host, Miguel, is very gracious, helpful, thorough, attentive - a perfect host. He met us at the apartment to check us in and happily spent as much time as we needed. It was an amazing stay; we actually miss it and the apartment.

this property was extremely clean, well appointed, spacious for two of us. It had a perfect location right in the heart of the Lisboa (Baixa/Augusta street)

This wonderful apartment was a bit noisy in the late evenings due to its location on the main Augusta street but that should expected when you choose to stay right in the center. Also some mornings it was a construction noise from right across the street at the Mude museum. nothing that good earplugs can’t fix.

The locations was awesome. Everything we needed was easily reachable by foot. Our host was very informative and provided tons of information. He even told us how to get around town and how to visit some of the places that we wanted to see. The unit had a lift which made it easy to bring up our luggage, even though our host helped us. There are markets nearby in case you need to buy anything for snacks or for any food preparation. There are also bakeries in the event you don't want to cook at home.

Fantastic location and very welcoming host who went above and beyond expectations to ensure a good stay. The apartment was, an easy starting point for exploration of the city, and next to a mostly pedestrianised street. While there is some street noise, it only filters through very gently, and never got rowdy. Apartment was ideal.

This apartment ticked all our boxes : it was clean, well provisioned in terms of necessities, the bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning worked flawlessly and above all its position in the old town and the superlative attention and service from Miguel made this a most memorable stay in Lisbon indeed!! Directly across major construction on 2 seperate buildings. Noise from jack hammers from 730 am to 730 pm. Could not sit and enjoy a glass of wine with windows open. View was obstructed by scaffolding. Wish we were told in advance. We stayed September 2022. Think building construction we go on for another year.

This location was perfect. The apartment was a great size, comfortable, and felt very safe. Our guide provided us with so many wonderful tips on places to eat, go out, activities and so much more. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. 12/10 recommend.
