The location is really good. The sea is within walking distance from the room. The room was very clean and tidy. Both dinner and breakfast were good. The food was exceptional. The staff were great, very friendly. We're looking forward to coming back.

At the table, the staff forgot to serve water to drink and the side plate to the table, and we had to ask them to give it to us.

The staff at this beautiful hotel were amazing. So attentive to our every need. Nothing was a problem. Great pools. Rooms fantastic and spacious. Loved it. We stayed 7 days. Very affordable for what you get. Highly recommend.

An absolute paradise! The hotel features two pristine, excellent swimming pools. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional every single day. Our room was incredibly spacious with ultra-comfortable beds. Best of all, the ocean views directly from the room were out of this world! Every staff member we encountered—including the front desk team, the hotel manager, and the food and beverage manager—was incredibly warm and attentive.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was always helpful, kind, and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, with special thanks to Sereka FIB, Asoka, Mahande, Sumittra, Pasedu, and Kavish. We also want to mention the sweet dog, Judi, who gave us so much love throughout our entire stay and was constantly by our side. The room was clean, comfortable, and was carefully maintained every day by Subbadra and Nuan. The food was also delicious, with plenty of choice and fresh dishes. The location of the hotel was perfect: peaceful, yet still close to the beach and local attractions. We truly felt welcome here and would without hesitation recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality. 部屋からサンセットを見ることができる素晴らしいロケーションだった。岩場ではあるが、部屋を出ればすぐに海辺。ビーチへも歩いていくことができる。ホテルやレストランが乱立してる割には静かで、治安も良かった。レストランもお手頃価格でシーフードを堪能でき、満足することができた。

道すがらに案内がないので、地図の通りに向かっていても、他のホテルの案内はあってもここのホテルの案内がないため、少し不安を感じた。ついたときは、見た目も素敵なホテルだったのでほっとした。

The room was spacious and the pool area was lovely. The staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful.

The pictures on booking.com are old. The place js pretty run down now and the “gym” was nothing like the pictures. It also states “beachfront” but you cannot access the beach as it is just dangerous rocks.

Die Einrichtung im Hotel war abgesehen von der Lobby etwas veraltet. Das Fitness Studio hatte Schimmel an den Wänden und im Zimmer war die Balkontür nur sehr schwer zu öffnen.

Fine store værelser med udsigt til både pool og hav. Vi fik et værelse i stueplan med stor terrasse og direkte udgang til poolen, det var dejligt. Venligt personale og dejlig mad i restauranten.

Der var for få parasoller ved poolen. Vi havde ved bookingen anmodet om at få to værelser ved siden af hinanden, da der ikke var familieværelser og vi var afsted med vores piger på 11 og 14 år. Dette blev til vores skuffelse ikke imødekommet og vi fik værelser meget langt fra hinanden på forskellige etager, hvilket var lidt utrygt.

The property is nice, clean, near the beach (not on), it has 2 pools and huge rooms. Staff are polite, friendly and very cooperative.

We had a lovely stay, the suite was spacious and clean and the view was amazing. Bed was comfy and spa treatment lovely.

We really liked the location and the vibe. The suite was really clean and kudos to housekeeping. Dinner was not up to standard, but the breakfast was top notch.

Poolen och stort rum, bra frukost för både vuxna och barn. Personalen var trevliga och tillmötesgående.

Ett stort minus är att man inte hade lagt in en mosquito plug-in i vårt rum, vilket vi hade på alla våra boenden i Sri Lanka, så första natten blev vi uppätna av mygg trots att ac och takfläkt var på. Men när vi påtalade om detta fick vi en plug-in till rummet.

The room was full of damp spots, and the photos on Booking did not match the reality at all. The hotel is completely worn down, and the staff were totally unprofessional and childish. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful sunsets which you won't get anywhere else in unawatuna. Lovely large room and very comfortable bed, good quality bedding and a large balcony. You can hear the sound of the sea against the rocks which is lovely when you're laying in bed. Staff are lovely very friendly and always happy to help

The facilities need an upgrade and general upkeep could be better. The pool water felt like it lacked chlorine and there was a bad smell coming from the ocean

It is a nice hotel in a great location. The room was fine. However, there was bathroom smell along the corridor on the second floor. I think there is a ventilation issue for the corridor. I hope they rectify it.

Отличный, красивый, изысканный отель! Персонал работает великолепно, всегда вежливы все и готовы помочь, даже просить о чём-то не приходилось! Осталось максимально приятное впечатление. Везде чисто, уборка делала слоников из полотенец, было очень приятно!=) Завтрак разнообразный, есть местные и европейские блюда. По меню тоже всё вкусно было, по цене вообще не дорого. Я считаю, это лучший отель в Унаватуне, второй раз только сюда!

Großes Hotel mit sehr gutem Zimmerservice und einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel und der Service insgesamt aufmerksam.

Allerdings fiel auf, dass das Hotel stark von russischen Gästen geprägt war, was die Atmosphäre etwas beeinflusst hat. In Anbetracht der Preise hätten wir – insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in Sri Lanka – ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis erwartet.

The staff has been lovely throughout our stay. At one point, we fell ill and the staff has been super helpful, making us feel supported all the way. They were going the extra mile, cleaning and disunfecting our whole room, supplying us with plenty of water and even arranging drinks that would make us feel better. But even before this happened, the staff was super friendly and engaging, making us feel very welcome. The room we had was very nice. Sufficient space, amazing views and good working airconditioning. We also liked the playroom for kids, ours loved it! Swing, ballpit, playhouse... basically all the needs.

Pros mixed with cons here. The pool is good in size and the view towards the ocean is amazing. However, the pool is super salty. It is similar to a pool that hasn't been cleaned in a while from all the sweat of visitors. During the first evening, we had a buffet which is excellent with a young kid. The second evening was a la carte, which makes it a bit more difficult, but they were very acommodating in making some french fries on the side. The quality both times was great though.

Останавливаемся в этом отеле третий раз. По моему мнению - один из самых классных вариантов размещения в Унаватуне. Прекрасный вид из номера, скалы и прекрасный океан, до пляжа в Унаватуне пять минут пешком, если хочется комфорта - можно арендовать лежаки в Аралии. Номеров мало, очень нравится, что отель в некотором отдалении от основных развлечений в Унаватуне, пять минут - тишина и умиротворение. Прекрасные завтраки, два бассейна, внимательный и вежливый персонал, приезжаешь как к себе домой. Любая проблема решается очень быстро. Часть номеров в этом году обновляется (были в октябре), так что в сезон будет совсем хорошо. Кухня прекрасная, отдельное спасибо Думи и всему персоналу ресторана. Отель для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть от суеты и шума. Однозначно рекомендую.

Mindenkinek nagyon ajánlom ezt a szállást. Csodálatos a kiszolgálás, soha nem tapasztaltunk még hasonló kedvességét és elhivatottságot. A személyzet fantasztikus és örökre a szívünkbe zártuk őket. Privát vacsora keretein belül az ő segítségükkel kértem meg a párom kezét. Elképesztő volt látni , hogy mennyire kitettek magukért, minden tökéletes volt és nagyon figyeltek ránk. Ha Unawatunába érkezel csak ezt a szállást válaszd és garantáltan felejthetetlen élményben lesz részed. Köszönünk mindent a személyzetnek, csodálatos emberek !!! Szállás: tiszta és rendezett, az ételek nagyon finomak! A kilátás és környezet tökéletes !! Biztosan vissza jövünk még !

Outside around the pool could do with a bit of paint. It was quiet when were there out of season and in season may be different, but breakfast was a bit dull, the lite version of every hotel breakfast we had in Sri lanka. Walking down into the village there were so many more enticing options. I suggest the breakfast chefs go for a walk into town for a bit of inspiration.

The staff was so absolutely wonderful. Genuinely kind people. The people of Sri Lanka have been some of the nicest we have met around the world. The food was also very good- especially the tuna steak . Nice presentation and great flavor.

This property has so much potential but is in pretty serious need of renovation. Mostly patch/paint around the property and stain for the wood decking. Our biggest issue was that in our 4 night stay, we moved rooms 3 times! The AC was broken and literally laying half on the floor of the suite we had booked. We moved to the 2nd room but we paid for a stunning view which that room did not deliver. Move to the 3rd room and the AC was working initially, but flashed an error code and was not working shortly thereafter. The value for price paid was definitely not there.

Very old building and facilities. Elevator not functioning. I took the suite, the pictures are much much more nicer than the actual room. It was not clean, not to the extent of leaving, but definitely not what you expect from a supposedly 4* hotel. WiFi? Basically non existent. Cellular reception-barely. Toilet was broken, and obviously was fixed using the wrong size seat. Floor was some kind of oily. Windows are not sealed properly, had loud blowing winds. But the cherry was-ants in the bed 🤮 That’s when I decided I’m not staying, asked for a refund just to get explanations from the manager about why I’m wrong and should stay. I left the place anyway…

The best thing about the hotel is its staff. My father in law had an accident and had to be taken to the hospital and the hotel did an amazing job supporting us all the way. Special thanks to Gihan that spent many hours with us there.

Great location and the staff were 10/10, they were so friendly and professional, food was good and rooms were lovely and spacious with excellent views. The massage was exceptional and they put on a great fire show on our last night. Would stay again!

The whole hotel needs a bit of a refresher, a lick of paint and a new lift. A lot of the common areas are a bit tired and new towels and bedding are needed urgently! It’s a salt water pool so I get that the towels will wear eventually. Nothing major but there are lots of hotels in the same price range that were a bit more polished.

The overall property is beautiful. The pool side and the ocean view is stunning. The breakfast and the ala carte food menu is extensive and delicious. Overall great experience. The location is however at a bit of a distance from the main beach

Hotel staff were mostly very friendly. There are a few good things about here, like the laundry service and the pool area. They tried to make things right for us especially when many problems arose. However, it’s overall a terrible execution in management to begin with. I will not recommend to stay here.

We stayed in Thaproban Pavilion Waves hotel for 3 unpleasant nights. Things went downhill since the first night when we decided to have dinner in their restaurant. My husband ordered a seafood pizza, and unfortunately he had a severe food poisoning hours after. Bad vomiting and diarrhea. It was so bad that he had to stay in bed the whole day. We canceled all our activities in Galle and Unawatuna in 3 days. I’m very disappointed that only place we ended up visiting was a hospital in Galle. The staycation wasn’t a good experience either, since there were many problems with the room. The phone wasn’t working. The hair dryer wasn’t working. (No one came to fix the phone till we checked out. I had to walk downstairs to the reception every time I needed anything. The person who came to fix the hair dryer was also rude, although most of the staff here were very friendly.) We found multiple disgusting yellow stains on bed sheet and pillow cases. It’s clear that those were not changed before we arrived. Be aware of ants in the room. Many ants were crawling on the food I brought back to my sick husband. They are the large orange kind. I was bitten by those ants in my sleep too.

We returned after 6 years to find the friendly and accommodating staff most welcoming. The service was brilliant with such genuine care and warmth. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The location is also perfect.

Some areas are looking a little tired but it is situated by the sea.

The hotel is ina quiet part of Unawatuna. You wake to the sound of the waves. Peacocks and moneys are all around. The pool is lovely and restaurant has good food/ drinks and service. The reception staff were fabulous and took care of all my needs.
